This place is amazing food is great and staff is amazing it's inside the Sheraton hotel . Everyone is friendly and good vibes all around.

Slow service. It took 20 minutes for someone to grab my drink order after I sat down. Multiple people walked past. After I was done with my meal, I watched the waitress scan the room for almost 7 minutes, looked at my empty drink, looked at my plate, didn't move a muscle. Finally, she came over eventually. I got my check, put the card in it, and waited 10 minutes for her to pick it back up. I asked for a drink to go when I received my check. I saw the bartender make it and place it by the waitress. When she picked my check up and can't back for me to sign it, she neglected to bring the drink with it. I was halfway out the building because I didn't feel like waiting anymore when she realized the issue and called out to me to walk back and we it. The meatloaf was good tho. read more

Went here while staying at a hotel across the street. (Show your comfort suites hotel key for 25% off) ordered off the Indian specials menu and it was delicious! My only complaint was more of a funny story. When I ordered vegetable masala, the waiter told me it had dairy in it. I asked what was in it and he said coconut milk...which is not dairy. I don't mind a little dairy, but he did not bother asking the kitchen for the right answer when I told him coconut milk was not dairy. Also, drinks were pricy. They are currently under construction so the restaurant is in a back room that leaves a lot to be desired for ambiance. The service was passable - our waitress was very friendly but our drinks were empty more often than not. We started off with an orange agave margaritas that were very sugary and not too strong. We then ordered a queso appetizer that was delicious! As for the main course - it was really good! I had steak and my fiancé had the chicken. Both dishes were amazing! And for desert we had a pretzel brownie that I could have done without. Overall, the food was excellent but the atmosphere and service left a lot to be desired. read more

I was staying at the hotel. So, I decided to try this place. After you order they give you a pretzel bread stick and biscuit with a habanero butter and jalapeño jelly. If I was rating on this alone I would give it at least 4 stars. I ordered the duck tacos. The portions were huge. I mean really big. The tacos did not have much flavor though. I was surprised since duck is kind of a fatty meat. But, it was a little dry. I understand some people will take portion size over excellent flavor. This restaurant does not present themselves this way considering they have items like filet mignon on the menu. So, a little bit of an identity crisis here. And, I am a little confused how to rate it on value because of portion size. But, I would have gone to a hole in the wall taco shack if I wanted that I guess. read more

Wifey and I went here a few months ago for lunch with a Restaurant.com gift certificate. I had a French dip sandwich and wifey had some sort of a salad. the food was OKAY, but the atmosphere was jus odd. it's in the lobby of a hotel, and I felt just weird. Tortilla soup is delicious, spicy and reasonably priced. Not cheesy like max and ermas and not like a vegetable broth like at many Mexican restaurants, thick and stewy. Stuck at the airport with a long layover, we were looking to go somewhere nearby for lunch, that had a free airport shuttle. I saw some favorable posts about the Sheraton Airport and the happy hour at the restaurant there. The posts must have been referring to a previous restaurant ! Let me spare you the details. Summary: Total lack of imagination or originality. Total lack of training ! You can't find a fresh sprig of cilantro on the Sysco truck ? Here was the kicker..... I saw they had a free desert on yelp with purchase. I showed it, on my phone to, "Jethro" the bartender/manager of the moment. He asks if he can see it to get any numbers off of it, then walks away, across the hotel lobby to a locked back room ! Just then the server walked by and I told here to go get my phone back for me ! She did and back comes a manager with "Jethro". Oh, sorry, ahhh.... yeah.. I thought he just wanted to see it better ! First of all there are no numbers on the Yelp Check-In Deals ! Food was tasty. Service was fair- in answer to my question what kind of curry the response was that the waiter had no idea and didn't know about different curries. He had no idea about the yelp free dessert. But the food was brought from the owner's Indian restaurant and was authentic. read more

I'm usually not one to complain and I hate writing bad reviews but this place has the worst service ever. It took about 20 minutes to get my water. And I've been waiting over an hour for my food. It's just sad that a nice place like this is so awful. The waitresses here have absolutely no idea what they are doing. Their minds are all over the place and it's not even close to busy. The service was average and the food was poor. There was one waiter that looked like he was trying but the rest of them were as useless. The food was worse however. Salmon should not be that dry, burnt, and the remainder of the meal was bland with some sort of cheese sauce, relatively horrific. read more

We went here for dinner, I made reservations not knowing what to expect. No need at all to make them, its a walk in place and you just sit yourself at an available table. First impression of the place was, "oh no what did we get our selves into". The restaurant is inside the lobby of the sheraton and is open, so you can see anyone just walking around the hotel. We had dinner at 9:30pm so was not too much traffic but there was an entertainer convention going on, so was very noisy and then when they had an intermisssion we got to see some interesting looking people. It was a lil bit of some nice entertainment. I could see how that could be annoying with all the background noise. First off we started with some cocktails, I had the orange margarita with sugar on the rim, was delicious, and Javier had the house special Fire and spice, it tasted just like a classic margarita (nothing special). Appetizer: we shared the Gambas al fuego. So for $10.00 you get 4 shrimps, (they were delicious) but for $10.00 I expect a lil bit more food. It wasn't even the jumbo shrimp, just normal size. Besides the price and quantity, this dish was delicious. It had a mango salsa that was sooooo good. It had jicama, mango, red bell pepper, cilantro, chile and lime. I think i will try to recreate this at home. So Im glad this is the appetizer we chose, but I will not be getting it again just because of the portion. On a side note, they give you a basket of bread, which is actually soft pretzel sticks. and you get 3 condiments to dip it into.Oil (which I think needed some spices for more flavor), jalepno jelly (ya I know, but surprisingly good), and a sweet/nutty butter. For the main course: I got the chorizo chicken (chicken stuffed with chorizo and cheese) with a chipotle sauce on top, it came wth ranchero beans( i didnt like these, but thats just my preference, I enjoy more authentic tasting beans) and jalepeno cheese rice, (this was very good, and the cheese dishes are made with white cheddar). Javier had the bbq short ribs (he loved these) and came with jalepeno mac n cheese( this was extra cheesey) , but very good. And finally I ordered dessert, creme brulee. Now I may not be the person to ask because this is my all time favorite dessert, but I have definaltly had better. There was nothing special to it. But I couldnt leave with out trying it. I will be returning here to try other menu items, I just with they would change the location or open up another location in the valley. read more

I have been to this restaurant 5 plus times. Its in a hotel, not the best hotel, but we come for the food. Its always wonderful. Last night we had the chicken chorizo and pork shank and again we left amazed. I would put it up there with some of the greatest dishes I have had from Michael Mina or Maestro's. Pleasantly surprised by excellent food and great price. We had a local brew, glass of wine, salmon salad (with entire salmon fillet) and the "native nachos" for $30. You can't beat this for $30. I spent 3 nights at the Sheraton and since there are really no restaurants of any kind within walking distance of this hotel, I just braved it and had a few meals here while attending a 3 day conference. First day I had a turkey wrap for lunch which was yummy and quite filling. I asked the waiter for water, but I got served a Pepsi instead and got charged for it on top of it. Free refill though. Wish they had Coke as I hate Pepsi and all you can get in the hotel including the vending machines is Pepsi. Next meal I had was a dinner the next night. Ordered chicken enchiladas and they were just fine along with 2 beers that were a bit overpriced. Last night there I had dinner. Ordered the 8 oz fillet and it was made to perfection. Overall, very good service with the exception of the slip in of the Pepsi for the water the first day. Alcohol is a bit steep in price, but food is moderately priced for the amount you get, so overall, they get 4 stars. Very good, but not excellent. Just wish there were some other places to eat in the area without having to drive somewhere or take a cab to get out of the hotel. read more

I recently had to meet a client at the Sheraton Hotel Phoenix Airport located in Tempe. My first thought was going to be just another hotel restaurant with okay service and okay food. I was sadly mistaken when i walked through the doors. The ambiance of the restaurant hits you as soon as you walk in the hotel. I have never seen a layout for a restaurant like this. The furniture in the lounge has a great southwest feel to it but is very inviting. My client and i had a drink in the lounge first before we had dinner. It was very busy which made for a great atmosphere. We eventually sat at a table and started with apps. They had this queso type appetizer that they lit on fire. It is definitely like nothing i had seen before. The entire restaurant focuses on it and cheers when it is lit. Again, great atmosphere. For dinner my client ordered a Filet and i ordered a Guacamole Chicken Pasta which was out of this world. My client was very pleased with his filet and complimented the Chef personally on his balsamic reduction sauce. My pasta was excellent. We did not have any dessert but did see that they were appealing. For those who enjoy great wine and great southwest food i would highly recommend it. I thought it was great to see a really nice restaurant inside a hotel. I travel a lot so i appreciate it. read more

The food is AWESOME! My husband was bumped from his flight and rather than have a shuttle Friday back to home and another back to the airport on Saturday, the airline put my husband up at the Sheraton for the night with food vouchers. I joined him for dinner and the steak salad was delicious! Generous portion of steak, crisp greens, crumbled cheese, asparagus and wonderful dressing (it comes with a mango salsa, but we passed as it has onions in it). For $12, it was a homerun as I looked at it not as $12 for salad, but $12 for steak. Dessert was the unconstructed sundae--not only delicious, but fun. It starts with chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and is served with two pirouette cookies with chocolate syrup poured in the centers. Accompanied by whip cream, several sauces, and "rock chocolates" (similar to whoppers, but softer), at $5, it was more than worth it and we so enjoyed creating our own sundae and eating it! Maybe it's quiet as others have reviewed, but attitude is everything wherever you go. I would definitely go again!!!! read more
