Service is always great, super friendly staff and quick service. Plenty of seating inside, gets busy during lunch hours but that's how you know it's good. I also tried their Jamaica drink it was refreshing without being overly sweet. I finished the meal with a desert called nuegados which is basically yuca that is fried and dipped into a syrup. It was so good! Favorite spot for pupusas around Mesa

I love how huge and thick the pupusas are. $4.50 for a pupusa. 2 pupusas is enough for me and I am stuffed! I love supporting small businesses and this restaurant really makes the best pupusas. The restaurant feels very homey like you came over to eat at your grandma's. The red sauce is mild and very good. Their green sauce has a lot of spice to it, so i usually just add the red sauce and the salad (curtidos) on top of my pupusas. We also got their Nuegado pastry which is a salvadorian fried yucca fritter. I really liked it and it was nice to end the meal with a good dessert. The staff are all super nice and they do take card. Easy shared parking in a plaza.

I had the Arroz con pollo which is shredded chicken with rice, I had fries and a salad on the side! To drink I had a fresh guanabana juice Which was also delicious. The service was great. The lady helped us and explained everything to us, she was waiting on a lot of tables but she was quick and efficient! The ambiance was cool, a lot Of televisions in the restaurant playing soccer games, cartoons and the news! Definitely can't wait to go back again!!

I must have had a brain fart or something because right after I walked in, the worker greeted us and immediately told us they had empanadas. He said they had chicken, beef, and cheese empanadas. I immediately ordered three chicken and three beef. I forgot about the arepas. The guy said it would be ten minutes. So we browsed their store. As soon as you walk in to the business, the small place looked like it is set up to ship packages. It has a small grocery store in the back, and has a kitchen on the side. The whole store was small, but clean. There was no seating in this place as it is not a sit down restaurant. Food orders are placed to go. Almost ten minutes exactly our empanadas came out. We took them to our car and ate there. We wanted to eat them fresh and hot and boy were they steaming hot. I loved the crispness of the shells. The filling was very flavorful and moist. I dipped them in the salsa and they had had a nice kick. They were delicious! We were able to polish off four. After we arrived home some thirty minutes later, the empanadas were still warm and surprisingly still crispy! I ate the last two. I will definitely return to try their arepas!

7/28/26 First visit…read more Parking 5/5 Arrived at ~ 12:30 and parking was available in the Postage Stamp size lot. Glad I arrived when I did because several groups came in after seating myself. It looks like street parking and adjacent businesses have spaces which might be available otherwise. Atmosphere 3/5 Although I enjoyed the artwork, this is essentially a small fast food like restaurant. Very small dining room with awful acoustics. Guests of more than two bring the conversation level fairly high and the group of five who arrived behind me had the place uncomfortably loud. It reminded me of my ASU Chuck Box days. Service 4/5 Being my first visit I wish there could have been more time to have the Menu selections explained. I defaulted to my order takers recommendations. As it turned out those suggestions were nice. Food 5/5 I choose the Arroz Con Pollo Jalapeño & Ham popper Empanada Sopa Verde The Aaroz Con Pollo was unique, fresh and delicious. Interesting creation with exciting flavors. I would order this again. Great portion. The Jalapeños & Ham popper Empanada was on the small side when compared to Mexican bakeries I purchased them at. That said the selections here are many and unique! Mine was outstanding. The Jalapeño popper and ham in their perfectly cooked pastry complimented each other so well, I was not disappointed with this recommendation and would order this again! Sopa Verde was a great portion. It included premium garden vegetables including spinach, rice, alvacado, peas, fresh white chicken meat and a salsa verde that added another flavor. This was a wonderful palette treat and another item I would order again. For me Food is this restaurants strong point. Atmosphere driven by acoustics not as much. Looking for something unique, try República Empanada my friends-SYOY!

The staff members were incredibly kind and welcoming, they let me sit down at a table while I waited for the rest of my group to show up. The restaurant has a nice restroom where you can freshen up, too. The food was so yummy! There is a seating area to wait for your food, and plenty of seating. You order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. The gentleman that greeted us was super friendly and helpful. One of the things that I immediately lived about this place was that many of the dishes have sizes. I almost never finish a regular size plate, and ordered the smaller serving size, which was still a lot of food (my son has to finish mine for me). The portions were quite large. I loved the little extra touch of the flower garnish. I ordered the jerk chicken with fried plantains. This jerk chicken comes in a sauce, rather than the dry rub you sometimes see in jerk chicken. It was soooo yummy and so tender it literally just fell off the bone. The fried plantains were also delish. My son had the curry. He loved it! I think this place is well loved, as there was a constant stream of people coming in to pick up food while we were there.
