I returned a couple of days later - the curry goat! Delicious!! And friendly service again! I wish I lived in the Phoenix area! No picture of the food ( took it out and I was not careful how I carried it- half the food spilled into the bag, lol ", but even all mixed up it was still delicious).

Curried Goat.

This place is fantastic. The curried goat is as good as I've ever had paired with a red stripe is absolute perfection. I'm sad that I'm here at 6:30 on a Wednesday night and I'm the only customer in the restaurant. Y'all get out here and support this place. The food is fantastic, it's a nice restaurant, and the people are nice.

I went in mid afternoon. No one greeted us and there were barely any lights on. The place was set up with white table cloths and place settings but was completely empty other than me and a couple of door dashers. I noticed it was only two people working there, I'm guessing the couple that owned it. It was slow so I understand keeping overhead low. The lady was nice enough but nothing stood out about the service. I ordered jerk chicken w/ cabbage, rice & peas and a Ting to drink. The food was HORRIBLE. I sat down to eat it there but after two bites I carried it out. I drove straight to another place. I threw out the piece I bit from and found a homeless man at the bus stop a ways down and gave it to him just not to waste. The chicken was not grilled, the jerk sauce tasted like BBQ sauce and had a vinegary flavor and rubbery consistency. SKIP THIS PLACE!!!

This place has been around for years and is the closest to authentic Jamaican food my husband (who's Jamaican) has found. The food is always on point, flavorful, and feels like home. The service is a little slow due to being made to order, and while the inside is nice and calm, the staff can be a little rude -- but that's just the Caribbean way! We always get our food to go, but it's definitely worth the visit for the great food!

Great little spot, smelled good when I walked through the door...plenty of parking, great location...close to Old Town Scottsdale, lots of tables, good R & B music, very clean, first class customer service with a smile & kindness, thank you Sheena for taking great care of us & recommending good dishes from your menu. Food was good, authentic, just enough spice & flavor. It's a must try experience.I will definitely go back to try a few more dishes. Enjoy!!!

Came here just to try the oxtail pasta. The pasta and the pasta sauce was delicious! (The oxtails in it were a bit tough, I would have liked them to be more tender). I had a rum punch that was delicious and also a caribe colada that was even better! We also had the curry goat with rice and peas and plantains. The plantains were good, but the goat was tough and not that tender. The rice and pease were a bit dry as well. Best part was the drinks and the pasta

So we can in at 6pm on a Friday night, there was not sole in there, we thought oh know, but the food was very good, my wife had the fricase chicken, I had jerk chicken, my grandson had the curry chicken all came out in about 17 minutes, very good seasoning, a lil too spicy for the boss, but we njoyed it, they had door dash orders ,alot, this place is huge, can't understand why no one dines in,

Jerk chicken plate! Amazing level of spice and plaintains were incredible! Beef Pattie was amazing as well.

Amazing food which I got from Uber Eats! (Shoutout to Carlita for the fast delivery) Jerk Chicken plate with two sides - perfectly spiced just the way I like it and the sauce went perfectly with the rice and peas. Plaintains we're excellent as well. Chicken was moist and full of that delicious jerk seasoning. Fried tilapia plate - Tasty breaded filet of tilapia with a sweet and spicy sauce! Comes with rice and peas and a salad and wifey loves it. Beef Pattie - like an empanada but better! Full of tasty ground beef and a light pastry outside. I'd eat one of these everyday for lunch! It's clear the food is made with a lotta love here! I really wanna visit in person and have more asap. Really appreciate that they don't tone down the spice and flavor here as well. I wish the owners would adopt me!

Quiet place. I visited with family for dinner on a Wednesday night. No one was seated during the entire time we were there. There were a handful of takeout orders but we were the only seated party. The food is incredible! Authentic Caribbean food. I ordered the jerk shrimp plate and it was fantastic. Everyone in my party was more than satisfied with their plates and the service. I would definitely recommend!

I love curry goat. I will be going back here. Excellent service too. Too bad it's so far from the west valley, but worth the drive.

The meat was tender and packed with flavor, simmered in a savory gravy with onions and peppers that soaked perfectly into the rice and peas. The cabbage on the side added a nice, lighter contrast and rounded the whole plate out. It felt hearty, comforting, and made with patience. The team there is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and the portions are generous. I walked out full and already planning what I'm ordering next time. Easy five stars from me.

Everything was really, really good. Seasoning was on point and nothing was overly spicy. Both meats were super tender with excellent flavor! The cabbage wasn't anything to write home about. It was just cabbage. The rice and peas were yummy! The minus one star is because I didn't like that there were four small oxtails. For the price of $27 I was expecting at least one big one. I also didn't like the amount of bones in my brown stewed chicken lunch plate and the little amount of meat given. But then again, it was a lunch plate so I get it. Those patties were everything and the plantains were chefs kiss!! Hands down the BEST Jamaican food that we've had in AZ! Give them a try!

The manager, Karen, also deserves special recognition for her professionalism and customer care. Yesterday, I noticed that my serving wasn't quite right when I got home. I mentioned it to Karen today, and she immediately acknowledged the issue and explained that the employee who served me was very new. Without any delay or unnecessary back‑and‑forth, she personally prepared a fresh, well‑packaged dish and assured me that she would make it right. She also told me to let her know if I ever experience any inconvenience in the future. This level of customer service is rare. Karen handled the situation with grace, respect, and genuine care. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Our waitress was attentive and helpful with recommendations on what to order according to our palettes. Road noise occasionally, but not terrible. The fragrance of the flowers, the misters and the occasional bird visitor added to the quaint charm of our experience. At first, the service was great. We had a couple different servers-seems there was some confusion on who would be taking our table-but friendly folks, regardless. The pacing of the drinks and the appetizers started out ok too, but over time started to slip. Drinks were forgotten, one person's starter didn't come out at all and our server became less and less available. When it came time for our main course, 4/5 people received what they ordered. When the wrong dish was presented to the fifth person, she recognized that it wasn't right an politely questioned it. The girl who was delivering the food (not our server) pushed back and said that it was pretty close, "it's fish isn't it?" No, we paid for an upgraded dish and this wasn't it. She had to wait another ten minutes to get her correct dish, while the entire group awkwardly waited and picked at their remaining appetizers to try to look busy. Drinks continued to wait...we were told that the bar tender was behind. No apology for the dish mishap, no acknowledgement when one person tried two bites of food and then pushed it away. (Turns out the corrected dish was rushed-overdone on the outside, underdone in the middle). I would have loved the opportunity to make it right, but staff seemed to vanish. It does have some great character and potential-maybe we just hit it on an off night.

We both love Latin and Asian cuisine so the menu seemed to fit our palate Was seated pretty quick and they handed my gf a rose. Got me extra brownie points for sure (told her I arranged that jokingly lol) The vibe is awesome a dimly lit jungle vibe for the Peruvian inspiration. Good music not too loud like other "high end" spots in Scottsdale that try to do too much. They also had a fire performer in the middle of our dinner which added to the ambiance. We sat inside but the outdoor seating also looked nice. During the day this place would have great views of the golf course I imagine. Onto the food, oysters were great quality, fresh but still briny. Had a pineapple mignonette that complimented well. My gf doesn't like oysters but these were small enough for her to enjoy with the added sweetness. Calamari was also solid, had a great chipotle aioli and ginger scallion oyster sauce on the side. The salmon ceviche was a bit of a let down. More like a crudo if you ask me, but still great flavors. Cocktails were great too! The corn mezcal was super unique. Not the biggest mezcal person but it sounded too good to pass up and definitely glad I tried it. My gf got the pisco sour and it was perfectly tart but refreshing. For mains we got the Lomo Saltado and Salmon. Both were great, Lomo Saltado was super tender and had great flavors. Same with salmon, nothing too unique but still on point Overall all the food was very well seasoned and flavorful. Nothing lacked. Cocktails were good. Service was a bit slow but our waiter (forget his name) was very professional and fun. Gave a ton of recs and was very animated. Worked there for 4+ years if I remember correctly and it showed. That being said, service was very slow and the food was lackluster. I had the recommended pork and scallops, my wife decided on the lobster fried rice. The pork was basically chunks of pork fat, nearly inedible. The scallops were ok, ended up just skipped the pork. The lobster fried rice was better, but small portions and a very small lobster serving made us wonder how this dish cost $49. We hoped me might finish with a dessert to pick up the mood after a lackluster meal. The salted carmel brownie we decided on wasn't great; tasteless and bland, it just wasn't worth it. All in all, for a two person, $300 meal, there are much better options. Would not repeat and certainly would not recommend.
