Crown Royal Apple & Long Island Iced Tea

These bartenders are great! Service is quick too. Katie remembered exactly what I like to drink & made my Tito's with a splash of orange juice just the way I like! Bar area was very comfortable this morning too.

Honestly very happy with the service Alexis (Lex) gave us and the food quality was absolutely amazing for a small little restaurant inside the hotel I was staying in with my Fiancé. 100% recommend for others to try

After a shaky start: first the server did not know what we could substitute, the kitchen is a long way from the dining area and she could not get the kitchen to answer the phone? The server could not get a answer for over 15 minutes. We were the only table in the restaurant @3pm on a Monday. 2nd we had a voucher from the front desk because we had to wait to check on was written "2 free drinks" (server says one drink for coupon, it's written 2, so delay to get our food and bev) Finally word from the kitchen, they would not substitute turkey on the Ruben sandwich, I settled for the wild cod fish taco, Mac & Cheese without chorizo, and build you own burger that burger(comes with great pickles) After all that surprise surprise, the food was very good. If it had been covered as a food runner come carrying our tray of food, it would have been hotter. It came out as ordered and was surprisingly very good or were we just very hungry? The Yelp apt offered fire restaurant's free dessert with two entrees which we had 3. It was the first one the bartender who had taken over had seen. With his phone he took a picture of my phone slowing the Yelp scream? Creative proof but he could give better service if he was inform. The food save the day.

Filet Mignon

My husband and I went there tonight for the first time and loved it. There was a convention of some sort but once they moved into their hall the noise level dropped to a comfortable level. We were seated quickly and out of the way from the crowd of conventioners. Our server was Drake and he was great. He knew exactly when to tend to us and when to let us be. He was prompt in bringing us our complimentry bread that came with oil, butter and jalapeno jelly. They bread was nice and warm without being too hot. My husband had the 12oz Striploin and I had the 6oz Filet Mignon both ordered at medium rare. They were cooked perfectly. The asparagus was cooked just right and not over done. My only "compliant" would be that the mashed potatoes could have been a bit warmer. Since it was a Friday night and they were having something called "Social Friday" (or something like that) we got a free dessert when you bought 2 entrees. We chose the creme brulee. I loved the flavour of the caramel and coconut! Mmmmmm it was subtle but you could taste it. I would have given 5 stars if the dessert would have not been so thick. It was tasty but had the consistency of a mouse rather than creme brulee. The value was reasonable for what we got ($53 after taxes) and the entertainment book coupon made it even better (down to $32) and we will be back to use the lunch coupon and possibly the restaurant gc we have.

The breakfast burrito. PS : There is chorizo in there

Popped in before checking out and snagged myself a pretty decent breakfast burrito, It was stuffed with eggs, chorizo, onions and peppers. served with surprisingly hot and tasty home fries, guac and sour cream. The servers were really nice, food was delivered fast and the price was reasonable considering it is in a hotel $11 for a really large plate of food.

AZ Wings

AZ Wings are decent appetizers with the right amount of spice, kind of like Tabasco - not too much and not too little. They're definitely overpriced but I had a craving for wings. I love fish tacos and I gotta admit the Baja Fish Tacos were pretty damn good. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the slaw that came on it. I also wanted to try out their shrimp taco. It was ok but way too salty for my taste. For a hotel restaurant, it's not too bad. I'd definitely eat here again.

When traveling for business, I've dined at hundreds of in-hotel restaurants. The food is safe, bland, unexceptional and overpriced. Frankly that's what I expected when we stopped in to Fire & Spice. Thankfully, I was very wrong. The food offered is creative southwestern cuisine with a nod towards Sonora and northern New Mexico. The basics of salsa, beans and corn were all excellent and the enchiladas were delicious. The service was great as well. Thanks for exceeding my expectations!

Slow... short hours. Food was good, but not great! First time there waited 30 minutes and couldn't get a drink!

Talavera - Afternoon Tea

Complimentary valet service greeted us warmly upon arrival as gentlemen opened doors and welcomed us with genuine smiles. Chivalry is alive and well here! The host remembered it was our anniversary and moments later, a complimentary champagne toast arrived! Followed by the most incredible chawanmushi, personally presented by one of the chefs. The porterhouse was out of this world, perfectly sized for two and the Troon Margarita was a revelation. Unlike spots where the views outshine service or food, Talavera delivers on every front. We ended with a complimentary dessert and can't wait to return!

By the time we finished dinner, we were sipping drinks and dessert in that perfect desert dusk moment -- honestly one of the best parts of the experience. The atmosphere felt like a blend of date-night elegance and relaxed family dinners. Some couples were clearly celebrating anniversaries or special occasions while other tables were more casual, which made the space feel welcoming rather than overly formal. Service was attentive and thoughtful throughout the evening. The staff were especially great about checking on allergies, and my hot water pot was constantly refilled before I even had to ask. Food-wise, we tried a mix of tapas and mains. Everything we had was well prepared and flavorful. That said, the price-to-value ratio for some of the entrées didn't fully land for me. The upside? The portions were generous for a fine-dining restaurant. If you're someone who appreciates larger portions at upscale spots, this will definitely work in your favor!!! Hot water rating: 8/10. While refills were constant (amazing), the pot had a few lingering tea leaves in it -- I'm guessing from earlier afternoon tea service. Would I return? Absolutely. Next time I'll likely lean into the tapas and drinks while soaking in the sunset views. And yes... I'll happily give the hot water another try.

We had a warm greeting from the hostess stand and were seated promptly at our reservation time. The restaurant gives off a warm and cozy vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is two pages offering some dishes served family style. We decided to share all our dishes. Our waitress was friendly and offered great suggestions. Food came out quick and was delicious. A great spot to celebrate a special occasion.

The entire restaurant seems void of cilantro which I know is a love or hate ingredient, but is a staple in Hispanic dishes. Everything from guacamole to the flautas needed it. Guacamole was delicious, but expensive for what you get ($19). As a vegan, you are VERY limited in what you can order. Guacamole and two salads without cheese and the potato flautas without cheese. Very meh. We only ate here because we were staying at the hotel and assuming beans and vegetables would be plentiful in the dishes. Wrong. We left hungry. Service was very good though. Matthew was our server. We had come here for a birthday and were seated at a small two top in a very busy area. It wasn't relaxing, intimate, or enjoyable. So many other good places to dine in Phoenix. One and done for me.
