These bartenders are great! Service is quick too. Katie remembered exactly what I like to drink & made my Tito's with a splash of orange juice just the way I like! Bar area was very comfortable this morning too.

Honestly very happy with the service Alexis (Lex) gave us and the food quality was absolutely amazing for a small little restaurant inside the hotel I was staying in with my Fiancé. 100% recommend for others to try

After a shaky start: first the server did not know what we could substitute, the kitchen is a long way from the dining area and she could not get the kitchen to answer the phone? The server could not get a answer for over 15 minutes. We were the only table in the restaurant @3pm on a Monday. 2nd we had a voucher from the front desk because we had to wait to check on was written "2 free drinks" (server says one drink for coupon, it's written 2, so delay to get our food and bev) Finally word from the kitchen, they would not substitute turkey on the Ruben sandwich, I settled for the wild cod fish taco, Mac & Cheese without chorizo, and build you own burger that burger(comes with great pickles) After all that surprise surprise, the food was very good. If it had been covered as a food runner come carrying our tray of food, it would have been hotter. It came out as ordered and was surprisingly very good or were we just very hungry? The Yelp apt offered fire restaurant's free dessert with two entrees which we had 3. It was the first one the bartender who had taken over had seen. With his phone he took a picture of my phone slowing the Yelp scream? Creative proof but he could give better service if he was inform. The food save the day.

My husband and I went there tonight for the first time and loved it. There was a convention of some sort but once they moved into their hall the noise level dropped to a comfortable level. We were seated quickly and out of the way from the crowd of conventioners. Our server was Drake and he was great. He knew exactly when to tend to us and when to let us be. He was prompt in bringing us our complimentry bread that came with oil, butter and jalapeno jelly. They bread was nice and warm without being too hot. My husband had the 12oz Striploin and I had the 6oz Filet Mignon both ordered at medium rare. They were cooked perfectly. The asparagus was cooked just right and not over done. My only "compliant" would be that the mashed potatoes could have been a bit warmer. Since it was a Friday night and they were having something called "Social Friday" (or something like that) we got a free dessert when you bought 2 entrees. We chose the creme brulee. I loved the flavour of the caramel and coconut! Mmmmmm it was subtle but you could taste it. I would have given 5 stars if the dessert would have not been so thick. It was tasty but had the consistency of a mouse rather than creme brulee. The value was reasonable for what we got ($53 after taxes) and the entertainment book coupon made it even better (down to $32) and we will be back to use the lunch coupon and possibly the restaurant gc we have.

The breakfast burrito. PS : There is chorizo in there

Popped in before checking out and snagged myself a pretty decent breakfast burrito, It was stuffed with eggs, chorizo, onions and peppers. served with surprisingly hot and tasty home fries, guac and sour cream. The servers were really nice, food was delivered fast and the price was reasonable considering it is in a hotel $11 for a really large plate of food.

    AZ Wings
    Do Y.

AZ Wings are decent appetizers with the right amount of spice, kind of like Tabasco - not too much and not too little. They're definitely overpriced but I had a craving for wings. I love fish tacos and I gotta admit the Baja Fish Tacos were pretty damn good. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the slaw that came on it. I also wanted to try out their shrimp taco. It was ok but way too salty for my taste. For a hotel restaurant, it's not too bad. I'd definitely eat here again.

When traveling for business, I've dined at hundreds of in-hotel restaurants. The food is safe, bland, unexceptional and overpriced. Frankly that's what I expected when we stopped in to Fire & Spice. Thankfully, I was very wrong. The food offered is creative southwestern cuisine with a nod towards Sonora and northern New Mexico. The basics of salsa, beans and corn were all excellent and the enchiladas were delicious. The service was great as well. Thanks for exceeding my expectations!

Another must have My friend ordered the Aztec Cake and insisted I'd regret not getting it. She was absolutely right. It was bomb and Torrance offered us a side of chips .TY. I ordered the short rib. For our meal, we ordered the Prime Rib Sandwich with fries, Keg Burger with fries, the Lobster Roll with fries from the summer menu, and the Prime Rib Dinner. We also learned that there is a larger cut of prime rib available that isn't listed on the menu. It can be ordered with one side, or you can add an additional side for an extra charge. One thing that caught us off guard was that the lobster roll was served with a salad. With the recent produce recalls, we were a little hesitant. In the future, we'll likely request a different side instead. Unfortunately, the Lobster Roll was the biggest disappointment of the evening. While the flavor was good, the portion size was much smaller than it appears on the menu. It was more like a sampler-sized sandwich than a full entrée, and for that reason, we probably wouldn't order it again. We hope the restaurant considers increasing the portion size to better match guests' expectations. The Prime Rib Dinner is usually one of our favorites, but this visit it arrived only warm, while the rest of our food was served hot. It wasn't a major issue, but we would have preferred the prime rib to be served at the same temperature as the rest of the meal. On a positive note, our server was excellent. He took our entire order without writing anything down and was attentive throughout our visit. The only minor issue was that one of our Happy Hour items did not ring up correctly on the bill. It was quickly corrected without any problems, but it's always a good reminder to review your receipt before paying, as simple mistakes can happen anywhere. Overall, we continue to enjoy dining at this location. The service is consistently outstanding, and we appreciate the quality of the food. Our only suggestions would be to increase the size of the lobster roll and ensure that all entrées--especially the signature prime rib--are served hot. Despite those minor issues, we had a great family dinner and look forward to visiting again.

Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling overbearing. The service honestly matched the upscale atmosphere perfectly and made the whole experience feel even more polished. And OMG... the food. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Like genuinely one of those meals where every single bite makes you pause for a second because it tastes that incredible. I got the chicken orzo along with the lime icebox cake for dessert, and both were absolutely amazingggg. The chicken orzo was phenomenal. The lemon flavor throughout the orzo was bright, fresh, and flavorful without being overpowering, and the tomatoes were the PERFECT addition because they balanced everything so well and added a little sweetness and freshness to the dish. But the chicken... wow. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being super juicy and tender inside, which is honestly hard to do. Every component of the dish worked together perfectly. Magnificent is genuinely the best word for it. And the lime icebox cake was the perfect ending to the meal, refreshing, creamy, flavorful, and not too heavy after dinner. The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.

The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal. Service was excellent and the patio was well-lit and had heaters ready for colder weather. Vecina is on the pricier side for sure, but you will not be disappointed.

As my friend said, the white bean puree here is a non-negotiable. It was my FAVORITE menu item…read more Only complaint was...give me another flour tortilla - ha. We ordered a bottle of wine and went to town on: White Bean Puree * Crispy Short Rib | Herb Salad | Flour Tortilla: Karaage * Aji Amarillo | Citrus Gastrique | Togarashi | Lime Elote * Chorizo Butter | Lime Creme Fraiche | Toasted Chiles Romaine * Buttermilk Dressing | Mexican Sriracha | Parmesan | Noble Bread Breadcrumbs Gambas al Ajillo * Wild Shrimp Co. Mexican Shrimp | Paprika Garlic Butter | Serrano Cruda | Garlic Noble Bread - this was the only dish that was not my favorite. SUPER flavorful but I wanted a more.. 'traditional' tapas Gambas al Ajillo flavor aka less paprika please. Saudero tacos (a brisket confit suadero tacos with a chile jam, aguacate, serrano cruda, toasted sesame, fresnos and micro cilantro) We sat on the patio for a wonderful AZ spring evening. The service was great. I also enjoyed their extensive tequila and mezcal menu. The only downside is the parking -- it's pretty small and shared with Lou Malnati's next door!

We stopped by Firebirds Wood Fired Grill on a Friday night soon before they closed. Parking is easy…read morein the large complimentary lot that surrounds the restaurant. We sat at the bar. Ambiance (4/5): Firebirds is a spacious restaurant with both a bar area and sit-down area. It kind of gives you a cabin feel, with some sophistication. From what I was told, Firebirds attracts a lot of snow birds... so older clientele. The restaurant wasn't too busy with it being the summer while we were there. Service (4/5): The bartender let us stay a good deal after close which is always nice (especially since they close relatively early). She still had to clean up, so I'm glad we weren't rushed. She also yapped a lot to us. Not a problem though, nice and charming lady. Food (N/A): We had dinner prior so we were on a liquid diet. Drinks (4/5): Solid cocktail list which is something I always appreciate. The star of the show, though? Look for a large jug of sorts at the end of the bar full of pineapple slices. You know where I'm going with this...a fermented pineapple vodka cocktail. We've all done something like this in college... well, I have at least. This is the grown-up version. Served in a martini glass. And on special during happy hour for 5 buckeroos. You can thank me later. I'll have to try the food next time!

Staff and service was good and my lowered star was due to the server having so many tables and they were on the more absent side for 9 pm dinner but we weren't in a rush. Location was a bit bright with the lighting so it could've been more intimate feeling but also gave cafeteria vibes in our section. Overall above average for our visit.
