These bartenders are great! Service is quick too. Katie remembered exactly what I like to drink & made my Tito's with a splash of orange juice just the way I like! Bar area was very comfortable this morning too.

Honestly very happy with the service Alexis (Lex) gave us and the food quality was absolutely amazing for a small little restaurant inside the hotel I was staying in with my Fiancé. 100% recommend for others to try

After a shaky start: first the server did not know what we could substitute, the kitchen is a long way from the dining area and she could not get the kitchen to answer the phone? The server could not get a answer for over 15 minutes. We were the only table in the restaurant @3pm on a Monday. 2nd we had a voucher from the front desk because we had to wait to check on was written "2 free drinks" (server says one drink for coupon, it's written 2, so delay to get our food and bev) Finally word from the kitchen, they would not substitute turkey on the Ruben sandwich, I settled for the wild cod fish taco, Mac & Cheese without chorizo, and build you own burger that burger(comes with great pickles) After all that surprise surprise, the food was very good. If it had been covered as a food runner come carrying our tray of food, it would have been hotter. It came out as ordered and was surprisingly very good or were we just very hungry? The Yelp apt offered fire restaurant's free dessert with two entrees which we had 3. It was the first one the bartender who had taken over had seen. With his phone he took a picture of my phone slowing the Yelp scream? Creative proof but he could give better service if he was inform. The food save the day.

Filet Mignon

My husband and I went there tonight for the first time and loved it. There was a convention of some sort but once they moved into their hall the noise level dropped to a comfortable level. We were seated quickly and out of the way from the crowd of conventioners. Our server was Drake and he was great. He knew exactly when to tend to us and when to let us be. He was prompt in bringing us our complimentry bread that came with oil, butter and jalapeno jelly. They bread was nice and warm without being too hot. My husband had the 12oz Striploin and I had the 6oz Filet Mignon both ordered at medium rare. They were cooked perfectly. The asparagus was cooked just right and not over done. My only "compliant" would be that the mashed potatoes could have been a bit warmer. Since it was a Friday night and they were having something called "Social Friday" (or something like that) we got a free dessert when you bought 2 entrees. We chose the creme brulee. I loved the flavour of the caramel and coconut! Mmmmmm it was subtle but you could taste it. I would have given 5 stars if the dessert would have not been so thick. It was tasty but had the consistency of a mouse rather than creme brulee. The value was reasonable for what we got ($53 after taxes) and the entertainment book coupon made it even better (down to $32) and we will be back to use the lunch coupon and possibly the restaurant gc we have.

The breakfast burrito. PS : There is chorizo in there

Popped in before checking out and snagged myself a pretty decent breakfast burrito, It was stuffed with eggs, chorizo, onions and peppers. served with surprisingly hot and tasty home fries, guac and sour cream. The servers were really nice, food was delivered fast and the price was reasonable considering it is in a hotel $11 for a really large plate of food.

AZ Wings
Do Y.

AZ Wings are decent appetizers with the right amount of spice, kind of like Tabasco - not too much and not too little. They're definitely overpriced but I had a craving for wings. I love fish tacos and I gotta admit the Baja Fish Tacos were pretty damn good. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the slaw that came on it. I also wanted to try out their shrimp taco. It was ok but way too salty for my taste. For a hotel restaurant, it's not too bad. I'd definitely eat here again.

Jon G.

When traveling for business, I've dined at hundreds of in-hotel restaurants. The food is safe, bland, unexceptional and overpriced. Frankly that's what I expected when we stopped in to Fire & Spice. Thankfully, I was very wrong. The food offered is creative southwestern cuisine with a nod towards Sonora and northern New Mexico. The basics of salsa, beans and corn were all excellent and the enchiladas were delicious. The service was great as well. Thanks for exceeding my expectations!

We got the pork belly wedge. This would have been enough. This salad was legit!!! We got the pepper roasted short rib with polenta... it was perfect!! That little poblano flavor sauce with the perfect texture of polenta and the meat was perfectly rendered. It comes with this crazy flavorful corn that is out of this world. We got the steak frites as well and it was perfectly cooked and the fries were perfect but it couldn't hold a candle to the other menu items we got.

It is not your typical steakhouse and you definitely get the feeling that each dish is curated by the chef. We ordered the deviled eggs and what I believe are called short ribs, sliders off of the happy hour menu. I'm assuming that menu changes semi often because they don't have it on their website (which is a plus to me ). The deviled eggs were some of the best I've ever had and were only five dollars. The short rib sliders were a little bit dry, but overall had great flavor. For our main course we ordered the New York strip over fried rice and the crab Rangoon Arancini. Both were incredible with great flavors. The strip was a little bit overcooked for my liking. I ordered medium rare and probably got somewhere around medium well. However, because it was served over fried rice and topped with Katsu miso butter it was still delicious. We also ordered the lobster mac & cheese. The lobster mac & cheese had a great flavor, but to be honest, there was too much of it. Sort of a strange critique, but it could easily have served four people and was just too large for only my wife and I. It was very rich, but overall still very good. The service was a little slow. They had one server and a bartender who were running food. It looked like the server was responsible for every table. We arrived at about 5:00 and got out of there around 6:45. I assume that because they are a smaller restaurant, they may just be getting their feet under them in that regard and can see that issue being easily solved by adding another server. That being said the service at the restaurant was extremely friendly and professional. If I was to change a few small things to put this restaurant over the top, it would be the following: 1. Toasted or warmed up buns for the sliders. 2. Faster service. 3. Smaller portions for the lobster Mac or at least have the server inform smaller tables about how large the portions are. Keep in mind that was the only dish that we felt was just a little too much. Overall, I don't think any of these deficiencies are impactful enough to reduce a five star rating to a four star rating. All the food I saw the other tables also looked really delicious. I highly recommend you try this restaurant. Worst case scenario get yourself a bottle of wine. Sit and talk for a little longer if the food takes some time. It might just be because the chef is putting a lot of work into making sure every dish is perfect.

The food was extremely high quality, including the excellent seafood bar. The steaks were similarly outstanding and perfectly cooked. Service was excellent as it should be given the premium pricing. Perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and served with the kind of confidence that only comes from a kitchen that knows exactly what it's doing. Every bite reminded me why Steak 44 has such a strong reputation. The sides are hearty and generous, the kind you want to share but secretly wish you didn't have to. Whether it's potatoes, vegetables, or something richer, each dish feels crafted with the same care as the steaks themselves. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Attentive without hovering, polished without feeling stiff. Every staff member I interacted with seemed genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. It's rare to find service that feels both professional and personal, but Steak 44 nails it.

Our waitress, Aubrey (if I am remembering her name correctly), was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, friendly, kind, and made sure our order was taken correctly. She kept us informed with updates on our food and promptly provided additional salsa when requested. Her excellent customer service truly enhanced our dining experience. We ordered three Prime Rib Sandwiches from the happy hour menu, all served with fries and lightly toasted bread. We also ordered the largest Prime Rib dinner from the regular menu, served with asparagus and mashed potatoes. In addition, we enjoyed the calamari appetizer and the bacon-wrapped scallops from the happy hour menu. All of our food arrived hot, fresh, and delicious. We were very impressed with both the quality and presentation of the meal. The only minor feedback we have is that the asparagus was slightly overcooked, and while the bacon-wrapped scallops were good, we would personally prefer more scallops and less bacon. Even with those small observations, everything was enjoyable and well-prepared. We love this location and consistently enjoy dining here. The service was outstanding, and as a wonderful surprise, we were presented with a complimentary dessert cake to help celebrate Father's Day. That thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated and made the occasion even more special. Thank you to Aubrey and the entire staff for helping make my husband's Father's Day celebration so memorable. For the entree, I went with the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection, medium rare plus. It was flavorful and melted in my mouth. Rarely do I finish a steak in one sitting but I was determined to enjoy every bite. My steak was paired with their parmesan potatoes which was like an elevated au gratin. Everyone was friendly, professional, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling overbearing. The service honestly matched the upscale atmosphere perfectly and made the whole experience feel even more polished. And OMG... the food. SO SO SO SO SO GOOD. Like genuinely one of those meals where every single bite makes you pause for a second because it tastes that incredible. I got the chicken orzo along with the lime icebox cake for dessert, and both were absolutely amazingggg. The chicken orzo was phenomenal. The lemon flavor throughout the orzo was bright, fresh, and flavorful without being overpowering, and the tomatoes were the PERFECT addition because they balanced everything so well and added a little sweetness and freshness to the dish. But the chicken... wow. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside while still being super juicy and tender inside, which is honestly hard to do. Every component of the dish worked together perfectly. Magnificent is genuinely the best word for it. And the lime icebox cake was the perfect ending to the meal, refreshing, creamy, flavorful, and not too heavy after dinner. The restaurant itself is very cute and clearly designed for photos, which matches what I saw on their Instagram. Service overall was fantastic. The food, however, was just okay. I ordered the burrata and fig plate and was told they'd replace the bread with apple slices. I received five very small slices of apple, and when the plate was set down the waitress said she'd get more if needed. I later noticed I was charged $2 for an additional five slices, which together didn't even amount to half an apple. Ironically, the bread that comes with the dish would have been far more substantial. The burrata was fine, but nothing memorable. My friend ordered the chicken and brussels sprouts and didn't even finish it before having the plate taken away. The flourless almond cake was the star, a bit salty on its own, but with the ice cream and whipped cream it was a delightful combo which were the highlight. Overall, this is a great spot for cocktails, ambiance, and photos, but the food is fairly mediocre compared to the setting.

The Papas Verde had an addicting tang from the tomatillo salsa but were brilliantly balanced out by the chorizo and asadero cheese. The shaved brussel salad could have used a little more date and chile to balance out the vinegar but I was pleased either way. The elote was probably the only thing that fell short execution-wise as I didn't get much of the chorizo flavor, but the cook on the corn itself was perfect. The Gambas al Ajillo are absolutely a must-get. Juicy, sweet shrimp with an unexpected kick from the butter sauce and unsurprisingly great bread from Noble. The Tlayuda was a little heavy on the lettuce, but the smoked pork and bean puree combo were so flavorful that it helped balance out the richness with texture and freshness. I also loved the crispy contrast from the fried tortilla. We ended with the Concha and Mango Sticky Rice ice cream which sounded pretty simple but was quite impressive in its own right. The ice cream was a touch too frozen, but it ended up working out well with the crunchy cornflake coating and lightly warmed, pillowy concha to make a really satisfying ending to our meal.
