My husband loved his Classic Margherita Pizza. My daughter had the I'm Meating Pizza, and I had the White Out. Yum. I will say we probably could have gotten away with splitting two pies for three of us, but we got boxes for take home. The pies are cooked pretty quick. They had plenty of seating. Being from NYC, this might not be a fair review, bc NYC has the best pizza in the world!! That being said, the pies that we ordered were as advertised. I didn't care for the crust, too spongy. It was not crisp at all. It tasted better than cafeteria pizza, but left me still craving pizza, even though I just had it. I didn't get the satisfaction of folding a decent sized slice, turning it sideways and taking a huge bite. Had I done that, the whole slice would have been gone. It's an interesting assembly line format that one is used to at many fast food chain restaurants but with very fresh ingredients and a brick oven stove that cooks the thing crust, ample cheese and toppings very well. We had the chicken pesto and enjoyed it very much. One suggestion: provide plates for consumers sharing your delicious pies! Everything about our take out order was terrible. First: They wouldn't apply our valid coupon. When asked to speak to a manager, no one was available to help with our issues. Second: The "fire cooked" wings were so soggy that we could barely eat them. Almost inedible. Unreal for the price of chicken wings these days. Great pizza and friendly staff!! I came during a rush hour so it was pretty busy. Pizza comes in one size and you can choose whatever topping you would like on it when you down the row. The owner looks like a cross between Mr. Colonial Sanders from KFC and Wilson from Home Improvement if they had a babychild. Super nice guy and will help you with any questions that you may have. A few things that differentiates them from others is the fire grilled wings. The mango habanero has a nice kick to it if you like spicy. Also they sell pittsford ice cream which you can get in a scoop, cone or float. The reason I didn't give it a 5 is cause they are still in the early stages. I noticed that it was so busy 1) every single person that cashed out wasn't asked if they wanted to add a drink or anything else with it unless you specifically asked. 2) Forgot what you ordered so you would need to them again what you ordered cause the order sheet goes into the box it would be unsanitary if they reopened the box and check after handing cash 3) after you cash out if you order more stuff, you'll have to wait on the side if it's not ready yet but they are so scattered that they'll ask you if you've already paid or not. Those things are probably the fattiest pieces of chicken I've ever had. Like, 50% just slivers of fat. Service is hit-or-miss as well. Employees tend to chat and not pay attention to you, sometimes even continuing conversations from across the entire dining room. I learned way more than I needed to about one of the employee's past drinking problem. Other times they are fairly friendly and attentive. I just feel like it could be better considering I'm there paying $14 for a medium pizza and a single drink. The pizza here is amazing! It is handmade in front of you, and there are a ton of different ingredients that you can choose from. There are also milkshakes from Pittsford dairy farms. My personal favorite is the pistachio milkshake. The milkshakes ice cream comes from a local farm and it complements the pizza very well. The personal Pizza is large enough for one meal for an average person. If you have a smaller appetite like myself, you may end up only eating half of the pizza and saving the other half for tomorrow! The environment is trendy and chic, it is great for teams and friendly meetups. That they use sharpie to write down your order on the paper that they placed underneath the pizza. Stopped by Fire Crust this afternoon for lunch with my fellow pizza-loving coworkers, expecting it to be pretty similar to Pi Craft or Blaze (and trust, I love me some Pi Craft). Fire Crust, however, was a very pleasant surprise! It not only has made-to-order wood-fired pizza, but beers on tap and Pittsford Dairy hard ice cream and frozen custard! You can get a good pie at Pi Craft or Blaze, but Fire Crust is locally-owned and full of charm (plus alcohol and ice cream, duh). The pizza was affordably priced (similar to Pi Craft or Blaze) but noticeably larger than the pies you'll get at the chain fast-casual pizza joints. Casual and friendly atmosphere and the service was much more personable and attentive, as well. Back to the pizza: the crust was perfectly light and crispy, the sauce was flavorful, and the toppings were fresh. Couldn't ask for more, really! And ending my meal with coconut almond crunch ice cream from Pittsford Dairy was a total perk! I highly recommend this place for all pizza lovers! This place is special. read more
