Delicious food and excellent service! We had to wait a while for the food to arrive, but this is to be expected of this type of restaurant. We sat outside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

They used to have a vegetarian pasta dish here that I loved. Then suddenly it changed. They exchanged the fresh tomatoes with these slimy tomatoes that are the consistency of fishing worms. I was totally grossed out. So I moved in to the New York Style Margarita pizza. It was fabulous and we both enjoyed it. Tonight they brought it out and it had the same slimy tomatoes they ruined the pasta dish with. I'm done.

To start the place looks like a great casual place to hang out with spouse or friend. Negative, The hostess was sitting me at a table on rooftop after it had rained in the uncovered seats that the table and chairs were covered with water (they're actually squeegeeing them as we speak. I asked could I not be seated at a table that wasn't soaked and said thank you when she sat me , no response. Rude when this is your hospitality. I told her I'd never sit someone in wet seats and table. Waitress Ariana was sweet and attentive! Everything was real good will come again!

I've had dinner here twice, both times in a group of 6+. The service both times was great. The servers were polite, personable, helpful, and attentive. The cocktails were flavorful, the beers and ciders were cold. The appetizers were delicious and a good deviation from the standard options at other restaurants in town. I ordered deep dish pizza this time. Just a note, try to order early if you know you're going to get deep dish because it does take longer. My pizza came out when the others were mostly done with their meal, but I knew that would be the case and didn't mind at all. The deep dish is like two different meals; the pizza portion, and then the crust, which is like a delicious, buttery, cheesy breadstick. The interior of the restaurant is decorated well, a nice ambiance, however there is no decor that absorbs sound. Often during the meal, I missed the conversation of our dining companions just across the table from us. They would benefit from either paintings or curtains that would absorb some of the sound so it didn't echo so loudly. The price of the meals is on the higher end for Cookeville, but we will definitely be back as it's a good change of pace.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! We went for brunch and were so impressed we went back for dinner! The food was impeccable. Compliments to the Chef!! The service was amazing, Braeden was our server and he was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. This is the perfect restaurant for a romantic date, a date night out or a quick brunch before shopping. They also have a rooftop dining experience! We had brunch on the rooftop and dinner inside, so we were able to experience both. The atmosphere was fantastic inside and out.

I would not recommend this place for NYE. They had an extremely limited menu that was not published beforehand. If it had been, we wouldn't have gone. There were several gin drinks, one bourbon, and one mocktail you could add vodka to. That's all. You couldn't order any other drinks. We hate gin. So we stuck with the bourbon cocktail. It was 0% consistent. They said it was a batch, but every drink we had tasted different. Maybe the mix wasn't mixed well. Not the end of the world. It was still a decent drink. What was terrible is that only half way through service they ran out of the drink and would not make more. They said they were saving the rest for the next seating. So we were left with no drink options we liked. That's a big deal when you've *bought tickets* to be there. So we paid to be at a bar where we weren't given access to anything we liked and weren't told this would be the case when we bought the tickets. You have a whole bar there. Come up with another drink on the fly to replace the one you're out of. After several people complained, the bartenders said they would pour bourbon neat or on the rocks. Yeah, I can do that at home for free. If you are going to make people pay for access to an extremely limited menu make sure you don't run out of the key ingredients. The snacks were good and decently plentiful, but they weren't worth the ticket price (sushi that was not on ice, cheese, meat, fruit, crackers, deviled eggs, cookies) Would I come back? I'd like to give it another try only because Cookeville needs a place like this. If this was in another city, I wouldn't be back.

The selection of beers and liquors here, and the recipe knowledge of the bartenders, will leave you unable to decide what to order! Lots of craft beers and unusual brands and flavors available. They do serve food here, and have a full kitchen. Their menu is typical bar fare mixed with a few surprises. My favorite thing here is their French dip sandwich, it's absolutely superb. There's lots of space to sit, lots of TV, a music player available to all, and lots of locals to chat with. Once again, the team who runs this place is definitely doing something right and I salute them.

While the food was a hit (everyone enjoyed their orders), the service was a bit slow. It took a while after being seated, to place our orders, and finally get our food. Our server was very sweet, but seemed stretched thin--possibly juggling too many tables. Overall, a decent local stop with a solid menu, but be prepared for a more relaxed pace when it comes to service.

We opened a beautiful aromatic Montepulciano red wine and had a deliciously crisp and perfectly cooked and chilled shrimp cocktail. From there it kind of went downhill. We both ordered a replacement of the house salad with a Caesar salad and it was a $6 up charge.... Which would be ok if it was decidedly different in size or components - but if you look at the picture you see how incredibly tiny this salad was. For the record, we asked for lightly dressed and it was perfect. But worth a $6 up charge? I think not. I ordered the petite portion of the chicken piccata ($17) vs a full portion ($21) and I was definitely ripped off... again look at the pics. Additionally, while the chicken and pasta were perfectly cooked, the seasoning was definitely NOT Italian and NOT piccata but had a weird flavor profile closer to SW USA - not what I expected. My husband ordered the ribeye Medium rare and it came out rare and COLD. He sent it back and it came back lukewarm and grisly. It appeared it was microwaved instead of hitting the skillet. We wanted to dine together so he struggled through it. We've eaten here twice before and were appalled by what we were served this time. We asked to speak with the chef and were told the service manager would come - which she did. But we requested the chef. Jaime came out to speak with us and listened to our input. We SO appreciate him listening. He let us know the ribeye had not been microwaved but hit the grill again. He admitted their piccata is not traditionally seasoned (no lemon flavor). Hopefully they either change the menu or make it more traditional. Chelsea the service manager came out again and comped our meal (which was not necessary because we understand there are profit margins) the owners must manage). As one of the local fine dining establishments, if the owners want to keep that space, they need to make sure they offer value and quality to their customers. Last note - if establishment is going to upcharge for size or substitution, it should reflect the upcharge value. We are grateful for the discussion, the comp, and the willingness to hear what a foodie likes to see. We will give you another shot, and look forward to the opportunity to update this to a five star review instead of two stars
