Went in for my birthday celebration, gifted by my wife. This was going to be my first ever spa experience and my wife had made reservations online. Upon arrival, we were greeted and made to sign what our preferences were for massage. Then, I was directed towards the men's changing quarters and my wife/daughter went to their changing rooms. Afterwards, the receptionist led me to the waiting area for the therapist. Two women ahead of me went in and I waited further. Long story short, i ended up getting a pedicure because the other therapist were occupied and the other therapist had an urgent matter to take care of. This place is ghetto and far from a "luxe" experience. I asked myself multiple times, who is running this place? It gave "pig with lipstick vibes." Like it has a couple spots for cute pictures, but this isn't truly a luxe spa. It was so terrible and my service was mediocre at best. My husband booked me a last minute skin treatment for my birthday based off of a recommendation from his coworker and I wish he would've never! I would've preferred for him to wait for an opening at another spa. The service was terrible. The cleaning staff were far much friendlier than the front desk staff. The person I communicated with was all over the place and not attentive at all. I literally had to stop her & demand that she explain what was going on. For comparable pricing I would go to an ACTUAL luxe spa like The Houstonian, Milk & Honey or even the one located inside of The Post. This is not it. Been coming here for some time for a mental break. The price has always been high and I didn't mind since the services and the space was always well put together and maintained. Today I noticed that even after the recent construction for the additional rooms and the Ivy Bistro there is damage in areas that seem to have been neglected and places that need to be cleaned better. I notice a swim panty liner by the hot tub and pool and some strange particles floating in the water. Even though it smelt like bleach/chlorine I was suspect of the water. The outdoor garden and pool area had cups that were left out all night pool side and of course the foliage was floating in the water since they are outdoors. Not sure if they are under staffed on the cleaning side but someone should of been there early to clean the pools and grounds before the appointments for the rates they charge to use the amenities. I am debating the membership for this very reason. The new Ivy a bar was good no complaints. Massages spectacular, guest services\checkin fantastic and for this reason I'm not give two stars. There is plenty of water expect downstairs in the grotto; there use to be some but it was removed today at least. Overall the place is getting older and more use and you can tell that the facility manager can't keep up and the staff is mismanaged. Enjoy at your own risk. read more

The one star I am giving this place is for the tea, and the massage therapist's personality. I am surprised so many people compliment this facility. They must have not been to very many nice spas. Check-in experience was good. The locker room was nice. I asked where I could blow dry my hair.. they had a very small area and they said they had a hair salon next door!! So it's their way to encourage you to use their salon services! I didnt know how to feel about that! I wanted to unwind in the jacuzzi but it was out of service.. their mineral pool had tiny bugs (springtails) and few hair balls floating on the surface. I walked in and walked right out. So much for that. I went to shower and the shower door handle was so loose it almost came off in my hand. There were hair balls on the floor...the shower head was rusty/moldy. The bath robes are comfortable but worn out inside. After a quick shower, I was led to the quiet room, which was not quiet at all. People were talking in there. My massage was ok. The massage therapist was very sweet. There is absolutely nothing to eat here. I mean not even an apple or banana, which you can find in almost all spas that charge as much as this place. The tea selections were nice. There is also cucumber water that was refreshing. I had also called and asked for pressure/trigger point massage specifically, which they said they offer. The massage therapist had no idea about that and said "you can just tell me where it feels good and I will press harder"!!!! Also, in order to go from locker room to other areas of the spa you have to cross the lobby.. in your robe!! Will I return here? No. read more

My maternity massage only lasted 30 min. I was late (admittedly my fault) but my appointment was scheduled from 12pm-1pm for a one hour massage and my massage ended 10 minutes early at 12:50pm. I'm really not sure why - I understand not being able to go over time to make an hour but at least last until the scheduled end time. The front desk was not very warm or inviting at all. This Spa is like a piece of 'Heaven on Earth'. I came to this spa with my sister and cousin, to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday. The set up is nice, they have lockers in which you can secure your belongings. For those of you who participate in libations, you can order half or whole bottles of wine, entrees, and small meals. In addition, they gave a scoop of lemon gelato to all customers who were in the spa. I received a custom facial (my face feels so smooth now) for approx $150, my esthetician was polite and knowledgeable about skin care. I spent the rest of my time in the dimly lit room relaxing and in the Jacuzzi. Wonderful! Had we had more time , I would've ordered more services. I am a very disappointed customer. The spa service was mediocre and the customer service poor. I received a gift card from a friend as a thank you. Evidently, the gift cards are only good for 1 year. I did not have this information and used part of it during the year with over $150 left on the card. I went 2 weeks beyond the 1 year date and was turned down. Note that this is during COVID when many companies were giving exceptions. I brought a friend with me so ended up paying for my service. I wrote the manager with very slow response with final results stating they do not make exceptions for any reason. I will not be back. It wasn't worth it!! I was a VIP member at Fiori for the past year and I considered renewing my membership until I met Paige the manager who is rude as hell! She should not be the manager as she speaks to clients as if she owns the damn place and as if I the client work for her! She's even called and left me a threatening voicemail before when I switched credit cards and they could not charge me my monthly membership fee! She was rude as hell to my sister on her birthday as well which was unnecessary. Even her own employees can't stand her from what they have told me as she has a nasty attitude and disposition with them as well. Paige needs a reality check and is bad for business and if she hates customer service then she should find a new job. I don't know what type of quid pro quo she has going on with the owner because she acts as if she is immune to being replaced! I will never go back to this spa as there are way better spas options in Houston with better service than Fiori! Paige was terribly rude. Her customer service was awful. I booked at a confirmed rate and when I checked out less than 3 weeks after the booking the rate was increased. When I asked why she said it was due to COVID. I said COVID has been an issue for over a year. It's missing the finer touches, such as: Extra towels by the pools, Water by the grotto pool, Goggles during facials, Samples of products used, Fresh fruit readily available, Higher quality towels in the treatment rooms (I had 2 towels with holes) Covering on bathroom window, and Staff walking around to check on you. This place is fantastic! I came here, because I had a $100 gift card to use from a friend for my birthday. I decided to get a $90/90 minute pedicure. AMAZING! Beth is great and the pedicure is extremely relaxing. It's a little expensive to come back on a regular basis, but I'll definitely be back to reward myself or for special occasions. The ladies at the front desk are nice, but if you call they don't have much information to give you if you've never been. That's the only reason it's not 5 stars. I really wanted to give this place a chance in spite of the numerous bad reviews.. but after spending $360 on two massages I feel robbed. Our massages were probably the worst I've ever had. We asked for deep tissue & we received light back rubs. My masseuse was very nice but incapable of coming close a deep tissue massage. The only part I enjoyed was the scalp massage at the end. My husband pretty much said the same thing, minus the scalp massage. I thought, ok my massage was horrible but at least we can enjoy the amenities.. Um NO. The pool is only outdoors in the middle of the courtyard, where everyone walks in. How un relaxing is that? VERY. It was also dirty, it had leaves in it & needed to be skimmed. The grotto is in a small room downstairs & it's so muggy & gross down there, I understand why so many people complained about mold. It just seemed dirty, and would be very uncomfortable to be in there with strangers. That area is so small, there's no ventilation.. no thanks I pre ordered lunch from Ivy their new restaurant. The sweet girls at the front desk set it up for us outside by the pool.. this seemed like a great idea, lunch with the hubs poolside.. until I saw the food. I ordered a spinach salad, no where on my plate was spinach. There was a bunch of romaine lettuce though. They literally are telling everyone not to eat romaine because of all the salmonella outbreaks!! I thought we could split the pizza.. well no we couldn't because I don't like lunchables pizza that had been microwaved. I mean it was bigger, but looked & my husband said tasted the same. After I told the girl at the front desk it was inedible she didn't offer to remove it off our bill she just said "thank you for letting us know". I forgot to mention the locker rooms aren't near the massage rooms or grotto so you have to walk through the check in area to get to everything. This place isn't relaxing, it's overpriced & it's just not a good spa. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I will start by saying that I've had services done before at Fiori and never had any trouble. But this time was SO bad that I'll never go back and it appears--based on the reviews--that I'm not the only one. I won't go into the entire story but I attempted to adjust our appointments by one hour due to a child care conflict and was told it was impossible. (Because they were "too busy" but the spa was empty all afternoon. Hmmm.) So we ended up arriving a few minutes late due to the conflict and had our massages cut short. All morning with trying my best to handle this time conflict, the desk staff and general manager were extremely rude and condescending, never returned calls and then when I called again, wouldn't even stop arguing with me long enough to let me talk. AND HERES the kicker--- I received a text asking for a review after our services which I gave and the person I was complaining about --the general manager-- CALLED ME AND ARGUED with me about my review!!!! Never have I seen a business that allowed the person a complaint was about to actually call the customer and argue as to why their review was wrong. Then when she wouldn't stop arguing I hung up on her and she called my husband to complain about me to him!!! Seriously?!?!? So incredibly unprofessional. It such a shame. I have been to Fiori several times, usually for a girlfriend's birthday as it is very nice. They have expanded in the last year and it is even nicer. I was told 2 weeks out that I could not get a pedicure while my friend got a manicure as there was only one nail tech. I found this odd, but no big deal. What I did not like is that the massage was terrible, at any price. As it was $150 for 50 minutes, it was particularly frustrating. With the understanding that the appointment was cancelled with no charges, we went on with our day. The next day I got a transaction notification from AMEX for a $360 charge. I recently visited this beautiful spa on my birthday and so glad I did! I had a wonderful experience!! I had the Clean & Glow facial and the Custom Massage, both of which were amazing!! The technicians were superb. I had a 2-hour window in between services and had a chance to enjoy the lounge areas poolside and the dining menu. The food was fresh and delicious and the staff super attentive. The courtyard is gorgeous and takes you out of Houston and to a charming Italian villa!! One small con would be that I could hear the music from the restaurant/bar while relaxing poolside. I had a peaceful nap and time to reflect in the Quiet Room as I sipped on my cozy chamomile tea! I was in Fiori last week. It is a beautiful spa. I loved the services they had at the time. I wanted to do the fiori signature manicure and thought with the price that they are charging I would get shellac but I was informed that I had to pay $25 extra to get shellac and it would bring up my manicure only to $70. Because I wanted the shellac, I accepted it but was hoping to keep them for at least 2 weeks if not more. Just like less expensive places that I always go. Although I have been extra careful with my hands this time, I have big chips on the nails. The nail person was very careless with my nails and she got the paint on my skin. I got the first chip on day 2 just because of it. Not happy with the results. read more
