The staff also removed the majority (half right down the middle!) of BOTH my eyebrows during the waxing process, a service their pricey menu explicitly states is not included in the face wax. But they were so nice enough to still give me the best massage!! First time at a spa and I highly recommend! My husband and I did a spontaneous spa day and enjoyed every moment of it. As soon as we came in we were treated so nicely and they took their time to explain all of the amenities for us. The women's locker room was clean and safe and I didn't worry about my items at all while being pampered. We had a private lunch on a deck upstairs that was all to our selves and we felt as if we were transported to Italy! It was such a relaxing time and the people that provided our massages were very respectful and made our couple massage such an enjoyable event. Highly recommend for a solo day or a couples getaway. For the membership, I wish the member benefits were more extensive and incentivizing though. The discounts on services only make the prices comparable to market value. Easy to find, and good amount of parking space. I cane here on a Wednesday for a couple massage and it wasn't crowded...exactly what I was looking for. The place was gorgeous, felt like I was in Italy at someone house. There's one big outdoor pool split in two, and a nice open grass field area. There's also a restaurant attach with balcony seatings. There's also an indoor pool, and a quiet room that you can sleep in. The locker room was clean and spacious. They gave us a robe and a slipper to wear! The staffs were friendly and informative. The amenity area is very rich with dark colors and an Italian ambiance. The last time I came here was about nine years ago when it was relatively new. It's starting to show its age but still a nice facility. It has a sauna, pool, mineral pool inside and a nail salon. Of course they have several rooms for massages. Get there about fifteen minutes early so you can get a tour of the spa. We arranged for a little lunch which was preordered before the massage and it was ready as soon as we finished our massage. The massage was not good. I almost walked away halfway through. Don't ask for Veronica. She lacks skills/technique and does not give much pressure. Even after I told her to increase the pressure. Horrible experience. After the "massage" we went to the sauna which was rather hot but great for the muscles. Then we went to the mineral pool. I was enchanted by the inside pool. It was almost like a cave with painted walls and ceiling . We started in the hot tub then went to the pool. It was rather Devine. The amenities were worth going to but not the massage. It was $190 for basically a sauna and splash in the pool. I gave it a three because of the facility. I'll come back but will not get a massage. Maybe a facial. read more

But eating outside on the Terrance felt like an escape lol Then I had the best massage of my life!!! I have been here a few times. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I love the food there. It's a nice get away spa near us in Houston. If you book a service you get use of the pool, hot tub, and topless roof. They have an underground hot tub that's pretty impressive - I've been told owners intend to ventilate it more since the chlorine is trapped and can suffocate the customer a bit, so that will be exciting. The decor in general is impressive, however it does need to some upkeep now that it's an older building. I've only gotten one massage so far, but it was amazing. The women's locker room joins the waiting room which is nice. I've gotten my nails done here too, which the room was a nice ambiance, however I prefer my other nail salon. They have a topless area which I appreciate. I do wish they had a better way to get service up there though. read more

My friend and I recently visited this spa to celebrate her 50th birthday with a massage and facial, but the experience was far from enjoyable. When we arrived at the spa (30 minutes before our scheduled appointments) I was informed that the esthetician who was scheduled to perform my facial was sick and there was no one who could fill in for her. It turns out the staff at Fiori had known about this issue for hours and even the night before, yet they only informed us at the last minute. To make matters worse, I was told that no one was available to do my facial and the only option was a body treatment or a massage by a male therapist. The staff at the front desk told me the service would be "deeply discounted" at a so-called "huge discount" of 30%, which was not a deep discount give the circumstances. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told she was on vacation in England. This lack of communication and poor customer service made what should have been a special occasion incredibly disappointing. read more

I have never been disappointed here! Among the best spas in the Houston area imo. They've expanded greatly since my last visit and now they're even better. There's a restaurant so you can order food on site and drinks and have them brought to you wherever you are in the spa. There is also a hair studio and largely expanded real estate in the spa. There are now two outdoor pools and a nice green area for lounging and perhaps reading. The staff-I can't say enough about them, extremely friendly and helpful. I had a pedicure this visit and Ruby has been there for 16 years. She is so nice and attentive. My favorite part of this place is the grotto downstairs it's truly an escape from the city. All amenities are free with the purchase of a service. Can't go wrong with that! My friend told me to mention it to the management, so I did before my 2nd service (body glow - it was a good service). Management took $20 off the $180 service. I'm torn because I don't ever want to assume I don't have to pay for something when something goes wrong, but I also spent the entire massage stressed that I was going to get sick. Late review- service was in early September. Masseuse (Lorenzo, I think?) was amazing. Clearly very skilled and knew exactly what to do when I told him I was having issues with neck pain due to my desk job. Five stars for him. Booking, however, was a mess. There was a serious lapse in communication that caused my group's spa day to be cut in half (no nail services available), despite our booking 2 weeks in advance. We didn't learn that the nail service couldn't be done until we personally inquired 3 days before the appointments. Nonetheless, it would have all been understandable, had Paige not been rude to our coordinator about it. There was a sassy email exchange in which she made it clear that our requests for alternate services were an inconvenience to her. (I'm reading now in the comment section that Paige no longer works there. Good call, Fiori!) Anyway the last blunder was on the day of our appointment. We learned that two people in our group were booked for the wrong type of massage, despite our clear written requests being outlined for them 2 weeks in advance. The staff is absolutely wonderful and attentive and you are able to use the amenities with any service. I had the facial and my skin was glowing afterwards! My only complaint would be that I wish she had been a little more gentle with the facial; it kinda felt like she was massaging my face and it was a little strange lol. Going to the spa should be a luxurious and calming experience. Fiore charges big big bucks and one would expect the return to be an experience of peace and tranquility mixed with top of the line products. So yeah... it's not about that at Fiore. This business wants your money for sure! You will receive a call to remind you that if you in any way miss a minute you will be responsible for your services. This nice message is MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than how you feel about services rendered. There is a 24 hour cancellation fee- beware... that's one aspect of their business they maintain with furor!! You will be reminded over and over about that 24 hour cancellation fee. It seems to be super important in their business plan as compared to just rendering great services and kindness. I watched as a woman arrived a few minutes late due to a super bad storm and an accident on the road- sorry ....she had to pay and the manager... the star of all Fiore's bad reviews was as cold as the hot tub! Which by the way was cold! After this woman cried and basically begged for help... Paige, the manager, found a solution. It was hard to watch. Paige seems to enjoy being the bad guy. As this woman began to tear up and become so disappointed, Paige told her... and I quote..."This is not my problem." Wow!!! Nice!! My bill was way too much for what I selected. The pedicure did not happen and yet I was still charged! I asked the technician to not touch the top of my feet... so she just didn't do the pedicure. I mean... nothing but the nails. I still had to pay 70 bucks. Wow!! My daughter and I went for her birthday and asked for dip nails... we were told since we did not specify dip when making the reservation, well, too bad so sad. (We did ask for dip and the person we made the appointment with was Paige, the manager! She asked us who we spoke to so she could train them!! Haha! Also... at one point while making out reservations my daughter asked Paige why she was being so mean?!) There was an appointment after ours and sorry- no dip it would take over that appointment time. Guess who the appointment was for? Paige the manager. Oh... she said she only took the appointment after there was no show at one... comical. There are other wonderful spas in the area where the manager isn't poised to put you in your place, demean you or treat you like you're stupid and she must school you. She operates very unprofessional, not they way you would act if you're trying to win someone's business back. I asked if the owners could give me a call back and she said, "if they would like to give you a call back, they would." I had to drop down to a 1 star from a 3 star. It's not worth having to deal with her. Place is beautiful. Secluded getaway in the midst of Houston. Mixed review on our couple's massage. My masseuse was excellent. My partner's masseuse seemed new and the quality was similar to massage envy. Not what would be expected based on price paid. My primary issue is when I raised this critique to the staff (and manager was present), the manager's response (Paige) was dismissive and condescending (fyi we didn't mention anything about price). She made several assuming comments which rubbed me the wrong way. They have signs asking to provide constructive comments to improve the quality of service. We offered our review of the massage quality. A response by the manager was we don't offer discounts. I didn't ask for a discount. She wasn't just non apologetic but outright condescending. 3 stars for beautiful place and I had an excellent massage. 2 stars for managers response to our criticism, which was meant to be constructive. We assumed ownership and management would want to know if quality of massage was not up to par for a place like this. Small things about the massage quality included mismanagement of time such that areas were not addressed even after masseuse initially asked if we want area addressed or pressure adjusted according to premassage form we filled out. Manager said it was essentially our fault because we asked to focus on a particular area. The therapist asked if there are areas to include and I think intended to do said areas but time ran out. The 2nd therapist also didn't know which aromatherapy would open up nasal passages. My therapist astutely picked up on this miss and provided a professional assist (it was a couples massage). The pressure and technique itself was not very good according to my partner who gets massages regularly. Which is fine as these are small issues but not expected when you pay 2-4X over a typical massage for same amount of time. So we provided this critique when staff asked how was your massage? Again response from manager wasn't "we will make sure massage quality is consistent across our providers" but instead it was essentially "because you asked to focus on an area and this is what happens. After multiple bad reviews I am surprised the owners (Roy and Natalie H.) allow the GM (Paige M.) to manage this luxury spa facility. Paige M. lacks all the qualities necessary to manage a high-end spa experience. Paige M. is rude, argumentative, and she is an outright manipulator. She attempted to deflect the problems and make excuses for the bad spa experience. It was my goal to surprise my wife by changing her birthday spa ritual of relaxation and reflection. The surprise costed me 2x the spa price because I had to re-book my wife spa excursion at her preferred spa, Trellis Spa. I asked Paige M. for a refund and she offered my wife a $75 credit for the "next" spa treatment. Next??? My friend and I both had facials and have a few scars on our faces from the extractions. I really enjoyed the restaurant. Oh, what a difference a year makes. I've been back twice since my first visit and the first two times were amazing. Makayla gave me the best massages I've ever had in life. So, naturally, I requested her every time. Well, this last time was different. I booked my appt, requested Makayla and showed up early and excited to get my relaxation on. As soon as I arrived, the receptionist told me Makayla would not be in today but they scheduled me with someone else. Then, pushed the paper across the desk for me to sign the release. I asked if my chosen masseuse wasn't available why didn't they call me before my appointment? My appointment wasn't until 1:00pm. So, plenty of time to notify me and allow me the opportunity to select another masseuse or reschedule. I was not given that chance. Instead I was told, if I wanted to ensure a certain masseuse (even though I selected her at the time of booking), that I needed to call them to "lock" that person in. The receptionist assured me that the replacement was an amazing masseuse. She may be amazing for some who enjoy reflexology. However, I did not enjoy all the poking and prodding. I wanted a relaxing massage. Instead, I had to keep telling her it was too hard or jerking my body to let her know I was in pain. Once she finally flipped me over, she temporarily placed a towel over my face to block the bright light from shining into my eyes. She removed the towel during the massage and I had to ask her to either adjust the lights or put the towel back. She told me the light in that room could not be adjusted and that they had already brought this issue up with management. She, then, placed the towel back over my face. I paid my bill and even tipped her, even though I was extremely disappointed in Fiori, that day. One of the ladies up front asked for feedback. So, I told her about my experience. I, also, texted them and emailed them my feedback. No one ever responded. That lets me know how much they care about the feedback they requested. In any event, Fiori has lost a customer. It has taken me this long to write a review for a Company that I have genuinely loved for so many years. I have been going to Fiori since 2004 or so. I have never been disappointed with staff or service. From my very first visit I knew this would be the place I would spend my money because it was so well worth it! I found myself buying gift cards for friends and one friend enjoyed it just as much as I did and it became her go to spa retreat as well. My first therapist was a female. she was excellent!! she was there for a while then she left and went to Za Spa. I went to Za Spa once because she was there. I didn't want to leave Fiori. Za Spa was nice, but Fiori was better. I thought to myself, "this is hard, the therapist is great, but the whole spa, zen feeling was not there.' So, I went back to Fiori. My time back at Fiori, I chose to go with a male therapist and was hoping I wouldn't be disappointed. I was VERY happy with Daniel (no longer at fiori since last year i believe and thank God after so many years with him as my therapist I asked him for his number same year he was leaving and I had no idea. I was gonna have a spa party at my house for my bday, and Daniel, and Kareem would have been the therapist for the party). Daniel was an excellent therapist. Very professional, excellent massage technique, delivered right amount of pressure and quiet! Kareem, according to my friend was a great therapist as well! Fast forward to NOW! I called Fiori, sept 20,2021 for service with Daniel and kareem for my friend (this is when I found out daniel and kareem were no longer at there, Highly disappointed). I can not remember the front desk lady's name, but i know I was on the phone with her for at least 3-5 min trying to figure out which MALE therapist i would choose and who would my friend choose. So, of course as the conversation goes, front desk staff gave her suggestions on who are the most requested and I had other questions for her which i won't post here. My friend had never had a male therapist, so she decided to go ahead and go with Caleb (Caleb was one who was requested a lot per the front desk staff) and I went with Donald, also most requested. Ok, so I get my confirmation email: Custom Message staff Donald Richardson. after Sept 20, I don't check my email for fiori anymore. I get voicemail confirming my appt. I listened to it and i thought to myself "Damn is this staff from Fiori??" I get another call on sept 28th for confirmation. I listened to the voicemail. It was Sean from Fiori, not the same person from before. I was still questioning "is this staff from Fiori?" but his message delivery was better than the first voicemail I received. Wed, Sept 29th, I asked my friend had she received a call from Fiori confirming appt. She said no, So I updated her on my voicemail messages. Her response in text message was "Oh goodness, tomorrow may be our last visit to Fiori." My response was "I hope it won't be, I really hope not." Both of our appt was for 10 am, so we get to Fiori about 8:30 (we had just finished walking at memorial park and was planning to shower and relax before service as I have done in the past because they open at 9am and if there is an appt at 9am staff would need to be there before 9am because they request that you are there 15 min before appt, well we were there early!) Tamera, I believe was front desk staff that opened and she looked like she had just woken up and was not professional at ALL. my friend and i just looked at each other like this . We sat out by the pool while waiting for her to set up because she could not allow us to check in. From this brief encounter, we already knew this would be our last visit to Fiori. So after a few min wait we go to complete paperwork and I noticed another therapist name on my paperwork, Swanee. I politely asked Tamera, about this mistake. I told her that I req appt with male therapist Donald. She tells me "that's who we have your appt with is swanee, I don't know how that happened, I just work here, bla bla." Ok, I am a little heated now. I told her she needs to change this as I requested, find out if the therapist i requested is open and available for 10 am. I told her it should be an easy fix. She states she has to call the manager. Bad thoughts about her at this point because she sounds ridiculous. at this point I am really trying to calm myself so that the next few hours are not ruined. She calls manager several times of course no response. By now it's time to shower, unwind to get ready for my massage. While waiting in relaxation room, I see who I assume was Caleb (I was right), then about 5 min later another therapist walks through. I spoke and asked if he was Donald and he said yes. I asked did he have an appt for 10 am. He said no, just here early to set up my room for 11 am appt. Wow! i went to the front desk and asked her to change my therapist to who I requested. Fiori Spa is a nice break from the hustle and bustle. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the beautiful architecture and felt I had been whisked away to Tuscany. There was plenty of parking available and it didn't seem very busy for a weekend, which was great for a peaceful afternoon! We were checked in promptly and shown to the locker rooms and waiting area. The area was spacious and everything was well stocked and clean. I enjoyed a 50 min custom massage with Caleb as my masseur. Caleb was welcoming and friendly as he escorted me to the massage room. He asked if there were any focus areas and confirmed my preferences before we begin. I enjoyed my massage as Caleb hit all of my target areas and applied the right amount of pressure. He checked in frequently to ensure the pressure was to my liking. After the massage, we enjoyed the various amenities including the yard, pool area, European sun deck and mineral spa pool which were all very nice, clean and well maintained. I had called several other spas and their amenities were closed due to Covid so appreciate Fiori still having the full spa experience available! The complimentary coffee area was a nice touch but could use some attention if being offered. The kettle was not on so the water was not warm. The only other thing that I would have liked, is an increased staff presence but understand it may be low due to Covid. We were never offered a beverage or food which we likely would have purchased if it had been offered so was missed opportunity for the business. I only saw two QR codes throughout the establishment (one at the entrance desk and one in the mineral spa so it wasn't necessarily highlighted as an option either. This was my first time visiting the spa as a guest and I will NOT be returning. The massage was good but the management leaves a lot to be desired. We could not even use the inside pool after our massage because the chlorine fumes were so strong it was hard to breath, not to mention toxic to lungs and eyes. Checking out was an absolute nightmare! The front desk personnel were totally embarrassed by the way our check out was handled and I do not blame them but do hold the general manager accountable as she was dictating various new procedures and rules via telephone. This definitely should have been taken care of beforehand! I've always left a spa day feeling relaxed and in good spirits; however, leaving Fiori Spa I was extremely angry and upset, all of which could have been avoided with proper management. His motions are all connected and rhythmic, very relaxing every time. Spending my birthday with the girls was the perfect spa day. All amenities including hot tub and mineral pool are opened which was a plus. Spa is clean, spacious and relaxing! A few hidden gems are the European sundeck and the outside shower area. A few suggestions: 1. have staff roam the spa regularly to check on guests, offer menu, etc. and 2) have the coffee/tea table fully prepared with everything needed. It's frustrating because this facility is absolutely gorgeous. They have everything that you need to have an incredible spa day, but their staff has always been terrible. Today, was the second time I have gone to Fiori. The first time, I planned an entire spa day with my husband and I. Everything was perfect except, the services themselves. The providers texted during the service, everything feels rushed and I definitely didn't get my full time. I told the front desk and they gave me 20.00 off. I go to the top spas in the world. I am very familiar with how the systems are supposed to go. Customer service is not their priority, it's to make money and that's apparent. The second time I went was today. My girlfriends and I typically go to the Houstonian but wanted a change of scenery. I told them about Fiori and thought maybe it was just a one off day for them. Nope! My esthetician gave me a 30 minute facial for a 50 minute facial and sat on her phone for 10 minutes while I sat there with a mask on. At one point, I was moving aggressively to let her know I had been sitting there for so long without knowing why she was just texting and not giving me the facial. I was so angry! My other girlfriend was also shorted and the esthetician was on her phone quite a bit. Again, no one did anything accept talk with the esthetician.... That didn't change the fact that I didn't receive my full service. It's not just about the money, I would love to just go there and get my full service that I paid for!!! Sooooooo frustrating. If you want high end customers you MUST give better service. read more

I took the time to email owner as recommended below and never got a response. On Mon, Mar 29, 2021 at 12:33 PM I came yesterday for a massage and facial and I did not have the best experience. i would have strongly considered the membership if things were better. Check in - i came 20 minutes prior to my appointment. I was not offered water or a beverages upon arrival. Thank Facial - The aesthetician was friendly but she did not spend any time assessing my skin prior to facial. i requested a customized facial and i am used to aestheticians examining my face under light before starting. This did not happen, Post facial - i requested tea and i was given the tea and left upstairs. She knew i had a massage after and I was not aware there was a separate waiting area. I went downstairs at 5:07 to ask if my massage was starting on time. I was then directed to the correct waiting area. The masseuse came at 5:09. The massage started at 5:12 and ended at 5:55. I do not think my massage should have been cut short due to staff mistake. I also do not think the front desk communicated to the aesthetician what happened. Massage - the massage was very good but short. Post massage - i was really looking forward to a meal post massage which is why i decided to come to you all vs post oak. i was told the kitchen was closed. It would have been ideal to be notified of the closing time on check in. Her reponse when i shared that was "its on their website" well unfortunately i did not know it was a separate entity and did not think to look at their website in advance. i was really looking forward to my spa day but i left underwhelmed. i was too hungry to enjoy the amenities so after 5 minutes in the hot tub i headed home. read more

We came here as our company retreat. Price was very high. My coworker said that her massage was kinda short by 10 mins. We had the same experience with very light and tender massages, even if we put down medium to heavy pressure. It was more calming then alleviating any tensions. The place was nice. The service was nice. The restroom and shower area was nice and the things offered in there was nice. The restroom was limited due to one being broken. I can see why other bad reviews stated what they have. There were things you would expect be up to par to the price and value. The pools were a nice touch. I would say it's more of a 3.5stars which is just some room for improvement. read more

I had a very enjoyable day at Fiori on 5/7/22. I came with some friends and honestly had a peaceful day. I had a fabulous massage from Valencia. The best I've had in a while. I'm going back just because of her. I also had a pedicure. It's was nice, the room was quiet but $70 was a little steep. But hey, it's Mother's Day weekend and I wanted to take a moment to pamper myself. I read the reviews and was a little hesitant to go. I arrived on time, because they do stress the cancellation policy and they adhere to their rules about timely services. We do live in Houston, so it's always a good idea to add an extra 15 minutes to your travel time to make sure you can handle any delays. I met the infamous Paige. No issues but then I had none. She was friendly and checked in on us. So maybe she has seen the reviews and has decided to make some changes as she handles her manager duties. Who knows?! I will go back and try a facial, enjoy the spa and see Valencia. read more

I severely needed a "me" day. My visit to Fiori was absolutely perfect. I was professionally and promptly greeted by Paige & Kendal. My services started with an amazing and relaxing pregnancy massage from Eric. He answered all my questions and his techniques remedied the severe pain I've been dealing with. I had a Fiori Signature Facial with Jessica. She was wonderful and explained every step of the process. My face feels refreshed and my skin is bright. Lastly, I absolutely enjoyed my body glow scrub by Stef. She made my first scrub great; I cannot wait to go back. Thank you Paige and team for providing an amazing experience and much needed retreat. I have been to Fiori 3 times now and every visit has been exceptional. read more
