This place was fun and it offers a great view of the beach. I enjoyed the terrace which is entertained with a live DJ. The service was fine, but it did took a while before they came to greet us. A group of five people were sitting at the bar and yet no one came to greet us until like 5 minutes later. Great food but horrible service! We are in the process of purchasing a beach home in Flagler Beach...we are a young Hispanic American couple. I don't know if the bartenders and staff are racist? But wow. I never blame bad customer service on racism but I saw them being kind and attentive to everyone else except ya. There was a Trump rally going on outside and we are Trump supporters! The best part about Finn's is their upstairs/outdoor dining space and bar area. It gives you that "I'm eating right beside the ocean" feel. While the food itself isn't necessarily anything to write home about exactly, they DID have shrimp on the menu and that was my primary want when visiting. We were pleased with the service. The people watching was incredibly entertaining. You had everyone from dates to moms wrangling their kids in wet bathing suits from spending a day on the beach. A must stop when you're in Flagler. We always go upstairs to the rooftop bar. Bartenders are nice, attentive... and the live bands are great. Sunsets from the rooftop bar are very nice. It's windy, hold down your hat! It's bar food, but a good version for sure. Beer is fairly priced, mixed drinks are served in small plastic cups, and a little pricey for what you get. I actually yelped a different place while trying to find an open restaurant to eat at after 10pm on a Thursday night. The restaurant actually referred. E to come here. I'm glad he did. This spot seems like a locals spot. It's nicely located right on the beach. Parking is limited at the establishment, but if you are lucky, you can find parking on the street. We did. Why we came here. Late night food and a full bar. This happened to also be a karaoke night, so that was cool. Lol. We sat down right at the bar. Our bartenders name was Jordan. He was very attentions, courteous, personable, and professional. Not to mention, his drinks were delicious! The kitchen was open late, so Jordan gave us a menu and our food came out pretty fast and was hot. So no complaints there. Fast and good service, always a plus. If I could give zero stars I would!! I Went with friends for a drink. While Standing on the side porch some customers upstairs spilled and entire drink on my head and clothes. I went upstairs to see who it was. I saw a man standing at the top of the stairs and I asked for the manager." He said "I am the manager". I told him what happened and he said, "I know I just saw it." So I asked what was he going to do about it? He said what would you like me to do? I said, ask them to leave? He said it was an accident. I said "then Maybe offer to get me a towel, pay for dry cleaning, offer to buy a drink....something to make up for the fact that my clothes are wet and dirty, my hair is gross and sticky from their drink and you didn't offer to do anything to help." So I asked him his name. He replied, "Deez Nuts", then proceeded to push me while grabbing my phone out of my hand because I was taking a picture of him since he wouldn't tell me his name. Then he says he's going to call the cops on me...??? He pushed me, I didn't do anything! So this establishment thinks its ok to push older women (I'm 50+), grab their phones, not tell me his name, and instead reply "Deez Nuts" and then threaten to call the cops because some drunk customers spilled a drink on me...how is this good customer service? Why would anyone want to patronize an establishment that treats their customers in such a rude and condescending manner? And I'm not a drunk young kid, I'm sober and over 50. I was out with friends having fun and my night was ruined by drunk customers and then I was insulted and harassed by the "manager" because he didn't like that I wanted him to do something about the situation. I've worked in restaurants for many years and this is NOT how you treat people!! I will NEVER return there and I will let EVERYONE know what horrible customer service they have and that they push older women and reply with rude inappropriate comments! Cool place in Flagler Beach but that doesn't say much. Didn't really like Flagler. We've lived in Daytona for a year and finally ventured out. Not that Daytona is great but Flagler's worse. We stopped into Finns bc we heard great things about it. They did have good live music which was cool but other than that I didn't think it was great. The upstairs outside and the downstairs indoor don't match at all, it's like 2 different places. Didn't eat , would of if they had a little bit more on the menu but it's a limited menu and tourist prices. Won't go back and that's just because I hope I don't have to go back to Flagler Beach. 2 stars for the live music! read more

My husband and I had been wanting to go to FINNS as we've been to Flagler many times and it always looks packed and happening. Finally we went and it did not disappoint. We sat upstairs and had amazing views of the ocean while a local classic rock band played their tunes. The food was very tasty and good but those ocean views - wow! My hubby and I split the honey garlic wings and had some onion rings. Also great beer selection. Terrific bar food served with a smile. We will be moving to Flagler next year and this is going to be in the regular rotation. :) read more

Cool atmosphere. A very nice server took us to a table on the balcony when customers usually seat themselves. With just the bike week ending, the restaurant was moderately packed which probably explained why our food took a while. This is really not a restaurant per se. It is a snack bar serving seafood with a huge bar. Their main courses are all sandwiches although I should say that the fish sandwich was delicious and filling while the steamed clams were tasty. The view wasn't bad either and there was ample parking for motorcycles. Staff was friendly and I would come back to this place if riding this beach strip again. Easy access to I-95. read more

This is a bar that serves food, not a restaurant with a bar, and it's FAR from a gastropub! They really have no business putting themselves in the category of gastropubs. This is just a bar with a nice view. The type of food on the menu is typical bar food with a flair for seafood. The service is unlike the good service found at all other eateries we visited. The servers here really didn't seem to care at all. It was just a job. They really didn't behave like they worked for tips. They were just there to put in their time. Of the four of us, two food orders were incorrect, but they were apologetic and fixed them (while we waited of course -- so two of us got to watch the other two eat!). When the bill arrived, it was incorrect also. Mixed drinks were watered down, and the Drink of the Day should have been removed from the chalk board. If you're going to offer Mojitos as your Drink of the Day, but you are out of mint, you are unable to make a Mojito, so wipe that off the board. This is really just a place to go to look out at the sea, have a drink (I recommend beer since they can't screw that up) and listen to live music. read more

My friend was treated like complete crap for politely asking the bartender to put the Nuggets game on. We didn't even finish our one drink; we couldn't get out of there fast enough. The manager/owner obviously picks from the bottom of the barrel for his staff. They all look like meth heads and do not acknowledge their customers AND treat them like garbage. I read many bad reviews about this place, so how is this establishment still in business?! Our night was saved by the staff at Tortugas. Our family of six adults and five children went to Finns for lunch. We were told that it would be an hour wait. We went to the bar and had drinks for the adults and children. After an hour and a half the party that was at the table we were waiting for had paid their bill but had not left. I approached them and asked if they were finishing up or were going to be awhile? They said they were finishing up. For some reason the restaurant manager Brian came up to me and tell me he didn't appreciate me "bothering " his customers. Totally uncalled for and unprofessional. I tend to disagree with others concerning the fare as this is a beach-side pub that offers food and drink. If you want to go with a "sure thing" then get the fish and chips, which is great. I first stopped here during bike week in March. The service I received outside at the bar was very attentive, the shrimp tasted great and are worth the price. The bartender Christy, this stunning brunette with eyes so green they glowed, kept me laughing and drinking all night. Finns is the spot (literally) for nightlife in Flagler Beach. When you walk in here get ready to meet the entire town, friendly bartenders, some bikers and a dash of tourists sprinkled on top. At night, the place comes alive with local bands and strong affordable drinks. Once the musics icks in and the drinks start flowing, many folks are on the dance floor, having a great time. I'm pretty sure the folks who live in Flagler, also are on vacation at this point. The upstairs has such a sweeping view from the Atlantic shoreline to the Intercoastal at the western side. Definitely get there in time to catch the view! It is still gorgeous (and of course breezy) at night, but I think sunset and evening time shouldn't be missed here. read more
