Trip down memory lane with the best diner menu. Service was great, and so were the pancakes and egg.

The cinnamon roll was literally the best my husband and I have ever had. We're looking forward to…read morethe macrons. If I were local to Amarillo, I would be ordering items every week. The cheesecake looked amazing. McKenzie was very patient and helpful. Highly recommend.

After lunch in Amarillo, someone told me this bakery next door won the national TV show competition…read more"Cup Cake Wars"...so you know I had to try them! Upon entering, the friendly girl at the counter was occupied, and one of the bakers and possibly owners came out to take care of me so I wouldn't have to wait! Talk about awesome customer service. Plenty of poptarts, cupcakes, etc. to pick from. I chose the Very Berry Strawberry and Snickers Cupcake. I do t want to embellish or over do it... but I'm not kidding when I say these may be the best 2 d@@n cupcakes I have ever had!!! They explode with flavor in your mouth. The strawberry was vivid, the sweet but not overly sweet, the cake and the cream were extremely creamy and moist! The Snickers cupcakes.... Jesus took the wheel on this one, lol. It's insanely good. Little sweeter than the Strawberry but so tasty! The frosting again was perfect in consistency. The flavor of caramel, Snickers, and I think a little peanut butter absolutely lights up your taste buds!!!! If you are in Amarillo...heck Texas hah....you need to make a pitstop here and try these cupcakes. It is so clear why they won Cup Cake Wars. Absolutely fantastic....and the best part, they kept their prices reasonable at $2.85!!!!!

This is a tiny place tucked behind a gas station but HUGE in flavor!…read moreWe were on a road trip passing thru Amarillo and wanted a good breakfast before continuing the trek. Girasol popped up on Yelp and we headed there. Amazing surprise: we had the eggs Benedict and they're so tasty! Juice, coffee, and tea are refillable. Women-run! Would definitely return if in the area again. Nice!

My husband and I were visiting the area and were searching for a good breakfast or brunch spot…read more This place came highly recommended. I'm not sure why. While we were able to eat quickly, the food was meh and the outdoor eating area smelled like sh*t so we relocated inside. I ordered biscuits and gravy with jalapeño bacon. I LOVED the jalapeño bacon. But neither the biscuits nor the gravy tasted good. The biscuits were more like crackers--hard rather than fluffy. And biscuits (plural) is a bit misleading because it's one biscuit sliced in half and soaked in gravy. Chick-Fil-A makes tastier biscuits. But we visited this place on a Sunday and, unfortunately, Chick-Fil-A was closed. It comes with eggs, but I didn't eat the eggs because they looked like the powdered variety instead of real, whole eggs. My husband wanted a croissant but was told it would take 30 minutes to bake. Maybe we're impatient, but that seemed unreasonable for a "bakery" that had been open for a few hours at that point. So he settled for the smothered burrito. He didn't like that concotion either. The passionfruit teas we ordered were small but good, but not good enough for a return visit. $35 wasted.
