Burgers are delicious and do not leave without a slice or 2 of pie! Thank you for the quick and friendly service Ladies.

Coney Island, I love you! They have the nicest servers, food is ready fast. Served hot & fresh! You can even make your order keto friendly by asking to remove your bun! Don't forget to get some homemade pie or cheesecake after your meal! We have ate here dozens of times and it's a family favorite!

What a quaint little establishment. Located on the downtown brick streets of Pampa this little café has found its niche menu. First off expect to find menu items on the menu featuring chili! The original made in house recipe from when the café was started in the 1930s. So of course I was obligated to try the chili dog and it was outstanding! Served in a steamed bun with chili, cheese and onion. The chili dog is outstanding as I'm sure anything covered with the delicious chili would be. Sorry I was busy talking didn't get a picture of the Coney dog. I will return in the future so stay tuned for updates to this review and pictures. Now on to dessert! The pies are made fresh daily. Picking which one to eat might be the toughest decision you make all day. We had coconut cream pie, and all I can say is WOW! It was perfect from the meringue topping to the flaky crust I enjoyed every bite. Any outing for food is always a success when you can say it was Worth Every Calorie!

Not the best food photo but we had already dug in before we thought to take a pic! It was THAT good!

Wow this place is amazing. The chili is top notch and the prices are unbeatable for such a filling, delicious meal. Here's something totally random but I know my fellow review-readers will appreciate: the bathroom is SPOTLESS. As well as the kitchen (because oddly, you have to go through the kitchen to get to the bathroom). For a greasy spoon diner who's specialty is chili...totally unexpected. Whoever owns/runs this place takes a lot of pride in it. And it shows.

Love this place! Wonderful food and a good retro experience. You can really tell that this is a restaurant built up on the community.

Old style counter or table service!

The best nostalgic place in Pampa. Food is great. Service was top notch as always. It's the perfect place to step back in time.

An amazing old diner in a tiny town in the Texas panhandle. The food and atmosphere was a delight.

Great Frito pie and burgers and great prices. Just a home town little joint that's been here for many years.

The hash browns clearly tasted fresh--like they were cut that morning, not frozen or from a supplier bag. Everything had amazing flavor and gave me energy for the whole day. The waitress was very sweet and attentive, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place--let's support small businesses in America!

Our ribeye was amazing, marinated in spices and cooked to perfection. We chose the two included sides and ours were a loaded baked potato and string beans. Because we shared the 12 Oz steak, we added a side and chose grilled zucchini. All were grilled in real butter, except of course, the potato. And even though our amazing, cheerful server, Joey, assured us real butter in the grilling, the loaded potato's condiments were real sour cream, real bacon bits, chives and for some mysterious reason little butter/looking tubs of dreaded "vegetable" oil. When we mentioned this to Joey, she shared our surprise and immediately offered to replace the whole side, which we declined, simply scraping off the fluffy yellow, heart-damaging, pretend oil. Joey even checked with the chef before we had to ask about dessert options and was happy to report safe choices were all butter coconut cake and vanilla ice cream. We're not trying to be difficult, just healthy. And with servers like Joey, there's hope that people are becoming aware. In any case, with the exceptions mentioned, a good steakhouse like Mesquite Canyon is always a good bet for the health conscious. The restaurant isn't fancy, has a sunny back area for dining away from the darker bar area, and even offers some tasty local beer.
