The fabric I purchased. Over 30 years.

The two old ladies in the front are racist and extremely disrespectful towards their customers when they come to pay. You have a good experience getting the fabric cut but when you are checking out, you deal with miserable old women.

On 7.21.23, I came here with my sewing group, Sew Much Talent, for a sewing retreat. Fine Fabrics was outer 2nd stop to look at fabric and other sewing notions. When I walked in, I felt like a kid in a candy store. We were informed that this was the largest location in Georgia. There was nothing but wall to wall of various fabrics plus zippers and threads in various colors, and then some. Each of the staff was accommodating and helpful. The gentlemen at the cutting counter were so sweet and delightful during our shopping excursion. The fabric was of great quality and there were tons of choices of knits to vinyl, home decor fabric and more. Can we get one close to the DMV or Philly, at least?

Some of the pattered bolts. There are aisles and aisles of patterned and plain.

Think of any fabric or pattern you've ever seen in your life, they have it. Make up a fabric or pattern in your head. They have it! Seriously love this place, could spend hours here they have everything you need for any fabric related projects tons of stock so nothings ever out. The staff is very helpful and it's reasonably priced. 10/10 highly recommend.

    WOW! We are here.

I love Fabric World! I never know what I will find -- but when I need upholstery fabric for table…read moredrapes or pillow shams, this is THE place to go. The staff is super helpful, and of course the fabric is beyond affordable -- usually $4 a yard or less. Last week I saw 54" wide rolls of block-printed African prints that would have cost oodles in a higher-end store. For $5 a yard. This is the place to go if you are willing to hunt, and if you don't confuse bare-bones displays for a lack of quality. There is always something different, as well, but make sure that you get enough of what you need, because most of the rolls are discontinued / remnants, and you likely won't find that roll again. Fabric World used to have more apparel fabrics, jumbled onto huge tables. During the first year of the pandemic I picked up serious quality cotton - -Robert Kaufmann -- for $3/yard. They aren't carrying the quilting cotton remnants any longer, unfortunately, and the cotton on bolts doesn't feel nearly as high quality. It's also oriented more towards kids' prints. If you are making clothes for rapidly growing kids, though, it's exactly what you'd need! There are a few tables of apparel fabrics left. I've gotten quality linen there, though the bulk is rayon / polyester / viscose / stretch fabrics. If you love fabrics and want to hunt ... this is your place! (Not to mention easy-peasy parking.)

I absolutely recommend this fabric store. If you're into reupholstering, making curtains, or making throw pillows or even a DIY'er you would certainly love Fabric World. Today's price was $3. per yard and the choices were above and beyond fantastic. The young lady who helped me (Kimberly) was amazing and extremely helpful. I will be certainly coming back to get my fabric from the store. One of Georgia's hidden treasures.
