I get that their main area is fabric, but just say you can't do the refinishing of the wood frame instead of ruining the whole piece. It cost me 2K to fix the damage these people did. So many options! Michael's and JoAnns have nothing on this place! Customer service: The people who work here are okay. I didn't go home raving about how awesome they were. They got me in and out. Selections: Wow! As soon as I walked in, I knew I wasn't leaving with just one piece of fabric. There are so many different varieties of things here, so give yourself plenty of time to roam. Prices: Very reasonable. Way better than any arts & crafts chain store. Got two yards of fabric for less than $10. I had no complaints. This was why I didn't take a star off for the mediocre customer service. Atmosphere: I always passed this place thinking it was abandoned. It's not labeled very well, and looks unappealing from outside. The inside isn't very appealing either, but the deal you get makes up for it! Would I recommend? Absolutely! Will I be back? I randomly found this wonderful store and was very delighted with the results. Let me point out first that I love stores like this wherein you don't feel like you're in a high high rent let's-please-Buckhead-Betty type of business. Fabric choices are abundant, yet high dollar flashy signs pointing out 1-yard minimum purchases and "Family" restrooms are not. Mr. John is always ready to assist you with all your questions without unnecessary product pitches being thrown in. I ordered four teak chair cushions with back pillows to go with my my porch card table. The product workmanship by John and his crew received an outstanding ovation from the card-playing participants, (surprising since they soon thereafter lost all their money to help me pay for the new upholstering project.) John the owner not only walked me through how to recover my own chairs but he explained everything I would need and even showed me which staple gun was best from Amazon. Truth be told. This place has a large selection of upholstery and apparel fabric at really good prices. Some of their sale and clearance prices are under $2. I do wish they had a larger selection of trim though. They do upholstery work also. Special note the staff is fairly friendly. The bathroom is pretty clean. Their parking lot is small and a little awkward. I love this place! read more

I can't recommend this business. I had 2 small chairs recovered with fabric I chose from there and I paid top dollar for having them covered. Although not perfect, (the arms were curved and there were a few pills & bulge's), I didn't complain. And here is where I should have stopped. I had him take my sofa cushions from my sofa to add some stuffing. When they came back the no longer fit the sofa. They hung over the edge of the sofa because he put a hard foam form and charged so much because he said petroleum had gone up so much! He said he would charge me more to fix it because it wasn't his fault! Now I'll have to have someone redo it correctly! read more

This place is a definite keeper for fabrics, both clothing, decorator, and upholstery. You will find all lengths of zippers, serger thread, and decorator trims. And the prices are so reasonable that you end buying more! The staff and John the owner wear masks during this pandemic, so that is a bonus for me. And they are very knowledgeable and helpful. One of the fabrics I chose had a small thread pull, so John gave me about 1/4 yard more to account for the small defect...I don't know of any other fabric stores willing to that!! Very unpleasant experience shopping in this store. While the owner seems very pleasant and welcoming to his customers, his employee (believe her name is Chelsea), is the exact opposite. At least she was to me. Rude and unwelcoming - hostile, even, so that I was trembling when I left the store. However, when other patrons came in, she instantly became overly friendly and seemed to go out of her way to help them. So much so that it seemed the attention she gave them was purposefully exaggerated. Not one to jump to ascribing a racial bias label on things, but I don't know what other conclusion to draw given that I am White and she is not. Very sad experience. read more

Very inexpensive apparel and upholstery fabric. Most fabric is $3.88 a yard. There was a large selection of knit fabrics, satins, laces, and sheer fabrics. I liked the experience. Not sure why, but I expected the place to smell stale and dusty. To my surprise, the air was clean and crisp. The young lady working was very helpful. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for, and she directed me to the areas where those fabrics were. I am very particular about my fabrics. I prefer soft cloths.
