Stopped into Finally Ours at 9:00 a.m. on a Tuesday. I was excited to finally try the place because I've hear a lot of good things. However, each time I've attempted to go, there has been a massive wait time. Today, we were seated immediately although the place was fairly crowded. The host who sat us also brought us our first round of drinks which I found interesting. This was the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the experience with the wait staff. While we didn't experience any long wait times for food, drink, and especially the bill- the whole experience was pretty odd. By my count at the end of the meal we had been served (in varying capacities) by no less than 6 different people. Very, very bizarre. As for the food, I ordered two eggs scrambled with Italian toast and home fries. I also ordered a single slice of french toast. My food was pretty unremarkable. The eggs and toast didn't move the needle for me. The home fries were pretty dry and unappetizing, I didn't wind up making even a dent in them. The french toast was pretty good though and would almost certainly be what I would order if I were to return. My breakfast companion had a Belgian waffle and hash browns. She claimed the Belgian waffle was very dry. She also ordered the hash browns "as crispy as you can possibly make them", but was disappointed when they weren't even nearing her crisp expectations. 29 dollars and change for the aforementioned food and two drinks. Seems a little high for breakfast. This experience at Finally Ours was pretty mediocre. The most memorable part of this meal was the ever changing wait staff. There are better breakfast options in the area than Finally Ours but feel free to frequent if you're looking for a milquetoast meal. read more

Came on a Sunday morning and it was popping. We were told 20 mins for 2 people and it took just about that time. It was so worth it. The food was delicious. They have a ton of unique specials. I was offered a refill for coffee like 4/5 times in the 45ish minutes we were there, it was awesome. Theyre so fast, but you don't feel rushed at all. Burger was cooked exactly as requested and was served with a side of yummy shredded hash browns (theres three different options for potatoes including home fries and nana's scalloped style). I have been here many times, and my family absolutely loves this place. If you're thinking about getting breakfast or if they're open for dinner or lunch then go here. One of the best values in town for your money. All servings Are huge, and you will likely have leftovers that will last you a day or two. Everything is priced well, and definitely a budget friendly place. Recently went here for breakfast and everything was fantastic, I got an omelet that had Hollandaise sauce which I thought was super delicious and so big. My husband got a bowl of chili and a breakfast burger and he really enjoyed everything. The staff here could not be nicer, no matter how busy they are they Genuinely care if you're having a good time and will go above and beyond for their customers. My family at one point rented out the additional room they have and the food was fantastic and the price was not bad including the food. This is a must try place, definitely worth a visit. Can get very busy, but they keep things moving quickly and they have two rooms open for seating which are both quite large. I love this place. You won't believe the size of their portions. I don't know how they make any money. I can't wait to go back. If you have a meal make sure you save room for dessert. The cakes were amazing but I had the lemon meringue pie. So glad I did. I need to tell you the service is awesome. So many people taking care of you to make sure you have everything you want. Went on Saturday at 11 am. Place was hopping. Both parking lots full and people outside waiting to be called off waitlist. We were a party of 2 and told it would be about 20 minutes. Saw open seats at counter and told them we don't mind the counter when available. She said to "go ahead and sit"! No wait. Hubby got the Frittata with his choice, pepper Jack cheese. It is enormous. Broccoli, peppers, sausage, potatoes and pepperoni. He said the cheese made it spicy but delicious. He said best part? It comes out piping HOT! Highly recommend, he said. I was searching for homemade sausage gravy on my way out of Syracuse and I found this restaurant. It was a 30 minute wait to get a table but they seemed to be doing everything they possibly could to get things to move along quickly. I ordered one of their breakfast garbage plates, it had bacon and scrambled eggs and hash browns all covered in Sausage gravy. It was delicious. My sister and I shared the raspberry stuffed French toast and it was really really good. Throughout our time we noticed they had many many many server assistants that kept us really taken care of and allowed the flow of the restaurant to continue along quickly. We made our first visit to Finally Ours today. It's the first time we have gone there when the wait was less than 45 minutes. Today it was....5. Yep. Timed perfectly. We have been in the building many times in the past, so nothing inside was surprising. It has a warm , welcome feel when you go in. If there's a downside, it's loud. They have made serious attempts to dampen the noise with sound absorbing panels, but it still is noisy inside. We were promptly offered menus and something to drink, and service was good. We placed our order, eggs and pancake for my wife and I jumped in for Manny's Loco Moco. Turned out to be a great choice. I enjoyed it all, but wished the hash browns were cooked more . Everything was served hot, was delicious, and enjoyable. Bottom line, I'm not totally sure what all the hype is about. The food is awesome, served hot, and definitely one of the better meals we've had, and we've been to a lot of restaurants and diners. But in the end it's just a diner, and it has the diner appeal. The servers were very attentive; two people came over separately to ask us our drink order and our coffee was never empty! Atmosphere is modern and clean. We got the chicken fried steak and the baby Jack combo. I've never had more perfectly cooked eggs over medium at a diner in my life. In this day and age when the food service industry is suffering from staffing issues I can tell you without a doubt that you won't find it here at Finally Ours. Located on the corner of W. Seneca Turnpike and the infamous 13 curves of Cedarvale Road you will find a dinner that not only serves quality food but quality service as well. Do not get nervous as you view the amount of vehicles in the parking lot. The Finally Ours team has a successful system to get you in, fed, and out satisfied. As we entered we were warmly greeted, asked how many and then quickly brought to our table. As soon as we sat we had another waitstaff ask us for our beverage options. Our coffees and water came out soon after. The table was clean with jelly packs, syrup, hot sauce and a stack of napkins placed on the side of the table. After closing out menu another one of the waitstaff was ready to take our order. My wife ordered the Eggs Florentine Benedict with hash browns. I ordered the Lumber Jack. It came with two pancakes, two eggs, choice of meat and toast. I also ordered a side of breakfast potatoes. My pancakes were a pretty good size. One end of them were close to flopping over the plate. They were cook well and had a nice fluffiness to them. The eggs were cooked a perfect over-easy as I ordered and the bacon was a bit thicker than I remember from other area diners and not overdone at all. The potatoes were very flavorful with the spices they added to them. I did try my wife's Eggs Florentine Benedict. Hollandaise sauce at a perfect balance of butter and perfect balance of butter and lemon flavored. We also like that the gave us a generous amount of Holidays because we both like to use the sauce on our potatoes. There was a nice running yoke when cutting open the egg. The hash browns had a perfect crunch to them from the flattop gribble they were cooked on. They were so good that I may order them next time even though there was nothing wrong with my breakfast potatoes. Let me get back to the service. During our meal we were visited by two different waitstaff making sure we we satisfied with our meal. We also were asked about coffee refills twice. The most interesting of the service that I have never seen before was that twice while we were eating two different servers came around with a plethora of to-go boxes in hand asking if we needed any. About 3/4 into our meal our server came to the table to drop off the check. At one point my wife even mentioned the amount of staff bustling around the packed tables. You do take the check up to the front to pay. I look forward to stopping by again to give their lunch menu a try. read more

It was as a Saturday morning and the parking lot was jammed. The friends we were with were nervous about Covid, so they decided to skip breakfast. My husband and I decided to try it. He remembered going to the location as a child and eating coneys with his dad. Since then, It has expanded into two dining rooms with counter service and was quite spacious despite the full parking lot. We sat at the counter and were instantly served coffee by a charming young man. The menu was extensive. I had a generous serving of corned beef hash and two eggs, and my husband had eggs and sausage. There was a room full of people waiting to be seated and many of them, including us were seated in about 15 minutes on a Saturday morning. Finally Ours is FRESH.
