So many options that it made it hard to choose, I will be back with friends and family to try more! What you'd expect from a middle of the road diner. Staff was friendly, but clearly had no system other than "that food goes over there" for orders. Food is mediocre, nothing better than anyone with a stove could cook. Prices are fair. Appeals to the people with loud young children but still need to go out somewhere and older people who just want somewhere to eat. read more

Good "home style" cooking. They stayed open and served takeout though this past year. We were all thankful they were able to surf through the storm. I tried this place again for breakfast today. This place is still freezing in the middle of summer. You will need a hoodie to be comfortable in here...we had one of the owners as our waitress, she was not attentive at all...she never even took our order, another employee who was working came over and took it as we were waiting for awhile. The food came out...it was cold. The owner/waitress came over and placed bill on table as we were putting our first mouthfuls of food in. She was never back. When I paid at the register, I had to ask for a takeout box. I love to support local businesses...however, I won't be back to this place again...0 for 2 for me. read more

Not familiar with the Syracuse area, we relied on Yelp to find us a breakfast spot. We were not disappointed. There was a long line to get in but we were immediately able to sit at the counter and received great service. Long overdue but visited 2 weeks ago with a great friend. By far the best breakfast we have had. The portions are huge and everything was cooked perfectly as we requested. The staff was the most accommodating and friendly. The owner was very kind and took the time to talk to us. If there were more than a 5 star rating, this place deserves it. Finally Ours is an out-of-the-way breakfast joint with a sweet story. And it is clearly run by a couple experienced in the restaurant industry. The decor mixes vintage and modern somehow successfully & for such a busy breakfast spot, they have a real handle on the traffic. As many other reviewers have mentioned, the portions are huge, though I think this comes with a bit of a trade-off as the actual food is average diner fare. I've tried both the sausage gravy and the western omelette and both were unremarkable. My kids had the French toast, which was better. Coffee is also average. Still, the service is unbeatable and is very much appreciated when hauling three hungry children. Looking forward to returning with them soon. read more

I never bother to review diners. Other than one greasy spoon having better potatoes than the other greasy spoon they are all pretty much the same in my opinion. But after having breakfast here there are some things that I noticed that felt it was worthy of a review. Upon arriving, the place was absolutely packed. I said to myself "oh cool, can't wait for poor service and poor tasting food because of how frantic they will be" ) which is usually the case at most food establishments when hectic). As we were waiting I noticed they were doing a pretty impressive job keeping the traffic flowing. Tackling the tables immediately after a person was done eating, prepping and immediately calling out next on the list. Wait was WAY less than I was expecting. Next up was food service. Waitress was friendly and kind and engaged in conversation amidst all the running around as well as managing to check our coffee level frequently. Again this was all that more impressive because of the amount of patron activity that was going on. Then the food... I was paying attention to everyone's food coming out while waiting for ours. I was quite impressed on how well the presentation remained through the hectic workload the cooks had. My omelet was perfect. The cheese wasn't oozing out everywhere and the omelette was large but not annoyingly fluffy. Potato's were great as well. Another very important thing I noticed was how clean their food was. Which tells me they are very strict on keeping the grill clean. I have been to diners where half the people's meal remnants are mixed in your potato's and eggs. All in all it was a great experience. Got sick on their food. All I ordered was salt potatoes. They were under cooked and hard. I don't know what it was, but it wasn't butter. Plus they charged $3 + tax for 4 salt potatoes, AND over-charged the tax, for a total cost of $3.25. I live down the street and can't figure out why this place is so busy. This was my 3rd visit there, and my last. I think the folks that think this is a good diner, never experienced a truly good diner. read more

I'm writing this for my mother Marilyn. My daughter takes her to lunch or brunch after their monthly trip to the eye doctor. Mom has a difficult time expressing herself most days but she had no problem today. She told me the cinnamon raisin toast was just delicious and it was the best coffee she ever tasted. Easily one the best diners in the Syracuse area. We had to wait a bit, but Sunday brunch is popular in this city. I had the breakfast garbage plate which is country fried steak served on a bed of hash browns and biscuits, topped with breakfast gravy and eggs! Hearty and delicious. I've eaten breakfast here regularly since they opened and I love it, but my sister and my Pop like lunch hours better. My god the chicken Caesar salad had TWO chicken breasts on it! And it was as big as your head! My pop got breakfast at lunchtime, which he loves. Happy people all around. This the second Time I go there and I order pancakes. In pancakes are onions potatoes spinach, they must use the same grill to cook everything! My sister ordered a parfait and in the parfait were eggs inside the yogurt. It'sabsolutely disgusting. It was 90 Degrees outside they had no air-conditioning just industrial fans you couldn't hear yourself talk over them. Very dirty and smells like a nursing home. read more

Let's start with the positives, this place is clean and very cute, and the coffee is excellent! The negatives are one cup of coffee then your left waiting and waiting for coffee and after asking twice for a refill I got the eye roll from the waitress.. the food had no flavor and the toast was cold and soggy and let's not forget the fact that they forgot one order of toast. The frittata lacked fresh flavor and the corned beef hash was inedible... my dog did like it though.. I would much rather have fresh vegetable and pay more for my food verses using frozen product to make a Frittata with. Can't beat it for diner aficionados. Diner dining at it's best. Counter, tables and booths. Staff is great and food is plentiful at reasonable prices. If you order their full Frittata, plan on having enough left over for two more meals. Take home boxes are available so don't be shy. For those who love ham and eggs, you will not be disappointed with their ham steak. Eggs are from a local farm so always fresh. Corned Beef Hash is homemade, no cans here! My husband has been to Finally Ours 3 times. I have only been there once and it was very good. Today we both had the day off and figured we would order lunch and pick it up. My husband got the chicken melt and he loved it. I purchased the sandwich on the run, roast beef. I was sososo disappointed. The bread was stale. I picked the crust off all the way around it was so hard. The chips that came with it were stale as well. There was plenty of meat on the sandwich; which was great. Very disappointed. The food was very very good. Big servings and good service. As we were half way through our meal we were asked if we needed to-go boxes! Then soon after they handed us our check. When we were finally almost ready to get up, two people were hovering next to our table waiting for us to leave. Before we had all of our things off the table they began to clean the table and wish us a good rest of our day.
