OMG!!!! My fiend (Shalon Cook) invited us for dinner she has several comps to have dinner here, the restaurant is very nice, the host she was a older lady and she was so accommodating. The food was amazing. My husband said that was the best food he has tasted in years. We not only had good food, we also had a great night at the tables winning money. I would recommend this restaurant, if you want some Delicious food come to The Final Cut.

Nice array of bread, too bad my diet says no!

Quality place, I had a good server named Amanda. My Gewürztraminer was flat and she replaced with the Riesling. They provide a nice bread plate and service is family style with large sides. The ribeye was excellent and almost the best I've ever had--and that's saying a lot! On par with Shula's and better than Hugo Frog which is better than any Outback, Iron Hill, or Texas Roadhouse. Fine dining ambiance with a famous film costume museum décor. Good wine selection and conveniently located in the Hollywood Casino if you want to gamble. Only down side is the p-p-p-price--ouch! $65 for just me to get wine, 14oz steak, salad and tip.

Great atmosphere! Excellent steaks. Great service. Priced as all higher end steakhouses are. The shrimp appetizer was good.

Four girlfriends and I rolled in for a girls' night dressed like mafia wives because obviously and the vibe at Al's matched the theme perfectly. Dark wood everywhere, dim lighting, cozy booths made for long conversations, and that old-school steakhouse feel where you half expect someone in the corner to be quietly making "important business decisions." Absolute classic. Now the food... wow. Every one of us ordered the petite filet, and they were cooked perfectly. We had twice-baked potatoes, Greek potatoes, salad, and soup, and not a single thing disappointed. I added lobster to my steak and it was not one of those sad little add-ons either it was a legit, perfectly cooked lobster and absolutely delicious. The service was just as good as the food. Our waiter was fantastic, attentive without hovering, and the front-of-house staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Between the incredible food, the classic steakhouse atmosphere, and a table full of mafia wives enjoying their steaks and martinis, it made for the perfect girls' night. 10/10. No notes. Al's... we'll definitely be back. Next time the crew might be bigger.

My husband found this old school restaurant that was established in 1933 with high Google ratings…read morethat was conveniently located on the way to the Rialto Theatre where we were headed for a concert. So we tried it. Merichka's serves good food with good service in a non-fancy kind of restaurant. It has various dining areas and a small bar. The room we sat in was nondescript with not one decoration on the walls. The multiple ceiling fans were running so I froze all throughout dinner. I didn't get our server's name, but she provided good service and was engaging. She always came back to check on us. The other staff we encountered was thorough in delivering food and removing dirty plates. We started with cocktails, a bourbon neat for him and an old-fashioned for me. My husband enjoyed his bourbon, however my old-fashioned was Wisconsin style which I didn't enjoy. We shared the mushrooms as a starter - I have to admit they were perfection! The portion was generous and the crust was perfectly crispy without being greasy. I think we missed the boat, though, because we didn't order the onion rings, which looked sensational. Dinners come with a relish tray and a couple sides. The relish tray had cottage cheese, a bean salad and a pasta salad. Again, generous in size. My hubby had a steak with fried shrimp for dinner and his sides were a salad and twice baked potato. He ordered the steak rare because he didn't trust that it would be cooked to medium rare. He was right to go rare because it came out a little pink. I opted for the baked cod for dinner with a salad and twice baked potato. My cod was 12oz and was moist and flaky. I didn't even put a dent in my dinner because I was full from the mushrooms and relish tray. We ended up bringing most of our entrees home. I'm glad we tried this restaurant out, but honestly even though the food was decent, I didn't enjoy the bare bones atmosphere and being uncomfortable throughout dinner because the fans were on. If you like a supper club without the frills, I think you would like this place.
