I got baby bomber nails with almond tips, it cost 70 something, the tips were $7 extra, so that would lead me to believe around 65+. They are very up front about pricing so I would just call and ask.

They were clearly poorly done, showing how she put no care or real effort into my nails. On top of that, she caused me some of the worst pain I've ever had from a nail appointment. About a week and a half later, my pinky nail started lifting, which was extremely painful and a clear sign the acrylic was applied incorrectly. She was passive-aggressive throughout, calling me old and saying my head looked too big for my body in a backhanded way. When she started on my nail design, she became openly insulting, condescending, and belittling. I have auditory processing issues, and I'm on the spectrum, so explaining things concisely is one of my biggest struggles. Even with a reference photo for her, I struggled to answer her questions in a way that satisfied her. She told me I was giving her a headache and kept repeating the same few words, louder and more irritated, over and over again, when I would try to ask for clarification. I felt really uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. In the end, my sisters' and my nails cost $300--$150 for what are honestly the worst acrylics I've ever gotten. She rushed to finish so quickly that I didn't even get to properly check them until I got home, when it was obvious how bad, painful, and poorly done they were.

I had already told her I did not want that woman as she had done my nails previously and they were lumpy and had a black speck on one nail that I saw and told her that wasn't supposed to be there and she said you wouldn't be able to see it when we were done but when we were done you could see it plain as day and when I asked her to redo that nail, she said she couldn't see anything and the nail was fine. So, I told the woman I would rather have someone else do the finishing of the nails this time. She then sanded my nails some more for the prep and I had to wait an additional 30 mins for another woman to be available. No problem, a good set of nails is worth the wait. Overall, it took them 2 hours to do nails that shouldn't have taken more than 70 mins. Normally, my nails last 3 weeks and the only thing forcing me to get them redone at that time is the grow out. 6 days after getting my nails dipped, the tips and sides started to peel away from the dip and the top coat started to peel off. I was out of town and couldn't go back to the salon until day 10, and by that time 3 of my nails had the tips ripped off completely from snagging on stuff. Keep in mind these are my real nails. I've been having my nails dip mani for over 4 years straight and this has never happened. This was caused by lack of experience and expertise when prepping and finishing my nails. When I finally went into the salon to show the manager my nails, she said that happens with real nails. Ummm, no it doesn't. It's never happened to me. I asked for her to remove the remaining product from my nails and provide me a refund of my $70 I paid. She said refunds were against their policy but she would have someone fix them. I had already had everyone at her store do my nails at some point and none of them were worth $70 and 2 hours of my time. So no thanks on your sub par service. Ultimately, she chose to not give me a refund and told me she would prefer I leave a negative review of her business. I was very disappointed in her choice of outcome.

I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately $60 for a full set that is basically crooked and wrong doesn't feel fair. I just simply left after paying. And i dont think ill be back. I went this nail shop total three times, and i got quite good impression at first time even though it is quite expensive than anyother locations. Young lady looked like manager or owner got me an acrylic fullset and it was worth it. But my third time that I visited there was not pleasant. Another person got my nail done but I felt that it was not professional what she was doing, not like I've known of this nailshop's quality. I felt like I wasn't pleasant to get the nail from the lady, the reason why is that my nail hurted when she was doing for my nail and she actually didn't care what she was doing.. And I paid about 70 dollars which is full amount with tips on two separate transaction, and I was on my way out and the young lady looked like a manager was suspicious on me if I didn't pay full amount.. They came out the door on my way out and got me with the reciepts and asked if I paid full amount. I already paid everything with good tips but they didn't check out well and got the person infront of all people. Very disresfectful at that moment. Everyone can make a mistake but I felt like I wouldn't visit again for that service. I was very disappointed of their service on that since I had too much expectation on this nail shop. And I figured out my nail was tipped out for three days later even though it was full set. That made me more unpleasant about it.. After this happen, I bought my own nail tools so that I can do it myself at home because I felt that it is waste time and money if I am not pleasant to get a nail done from non professional & untrained person. I would want to give one star but my first time was okay so I give two stars. I hope they review this, and they can make customer more happy. read more

This place has been thee cleanest place I've ever been to. I LOVE IT!!! Usually nail salons are dirty and dusty from the nail powder. But this place is unbelievably clean. It's family owned, and all of the family members are super nice and want you to feel relaxed and comfortable. THE THING I LOVED MOST about this place was they told me how much everything was going to cost before they proceeded. They didn't blindside me with all these extra random charges at the end. This shop is wonderful! I was referred by a friend who owns a hair salon as she has been a client for some time. I have now been a client here for four years and have always been greeted with an enthusiastic hello Tami (even if it has been several months and I just walk in) followed by an offer of something to drink while waiting. Service is great, price is always what they quote you, and the atmosphere is always friendly and positive. Won't go anywhere else but here. They treat you like family. When I was selecting my colors and describing to Ethan, the nail art, I was looking for on my natural nails, he asked to see a photo. I showed him and he talked to me about how it would look different with the polish color that I selected. He even went so far as to come over and demonstrate the polish on his own fingernail for me to see. I thought this was above and beyond and so appreciated! Hannah did an excellent job with my pedicure. She was friendly and very professional. She cut my toenails just right and the foot massage was very relaxing. The massage chairs were new and top-notch. Josie did my natural nail gel manicure with French tip. She understood what I was looking for and did an excellent job. Multiple times during my treatments Ethan came by to check in on how I was doing. I have definitely found my new nail salon and will be back soon.

I was referred to Emmy by a co-worker so I was really excited. I will admit that I have had trouble finding a respectful nail tech who does good work in Portland. As soon as I entered the shop, Emmy's sister said something under her breathe. I let it go because I did not want to be paranoid. During the appointment, Emmy's sister left. Emmy was professional and did a great job with doing my nails. Right before my appointment was over, Emmy's sister returned. Her sister came over to me and said, "you're hair makes me want to pull out my flat iron." Mind you I am a Black woman who typically wears her hair natural (often Afro-like). I was shocked, and appalled. I didn't know what to say. She made a gesture as if to touch my hair (without my permission of course), but stopped herself. I told her that I loved my hair and she said, "yeah, God makes us all different for a reason." If that was the extent of this awful experience I may not be writing this post, but it gets worse. Emmy's sister starts to inspects my nails and says something to Emmy not in English, and Emmy responds in English "no she is not broke." At this point I'm like wtf?! I say "no, I'm not broke." Emmy sister says "well your nail art is so basic. People come in here getting basic nail art because they are broke. She has had clients who say they are broke." At that point I am embarrassed and angry. This woman was being so unprofessional and Emmy, the owner of the shop did not stop her from antagonizing me. AND it didn't stop there. Once my nails were done, Emmy and her sister stared at me the entire time waiting for payment as of they were waiting to judge how I was going to pay. When I tell you my hands were shaking, I was so embarrassed, hurt, frustrated. They watched me like a hawk. So much so that when Emmy received an alert to her phone, she said "there it is." (Referring to my payment) and when it wasn't, she said "oh no it isn't." If I could give a zero, I would. I don't know anyone who would have appreciated being disrespected or being antagonized at their nail appointment about their looks or what they can afford. Emmy definitely does good work, but it should not be at the extent of being harassed by her sister/employee. Below is her response to my colleague who called her out. It is not really an apology and if she was really apologetic she would have contacted me directly.

For starters, it doesn't smell like a nail salon in here. No overwhelming smells of acrylic and polish. Tons of colors, services, and a great beverage menu if you're looking for a cocktail/mocktail (I love the Vietnamese coffee, but maybe that's just me). You can also book online which makes getting an appointment super easy. Tbh, I love anywhere I don't have to call and speak with a human to book an appointment. The technicians themselves are very skilled and professional. Tina is my go-to for an amazing pedicure. I always get the Elite Pedicure with gel color ($90). The appointment takes 60 minutes and includes extras like a callous scrub, paraffin wax, hot stone massage, etc. The pedicure chairs have built-in massage rollers and the technicians always use a new bowl liner, new tools, and wear gloves. For a manicure, Danielle is amazing. I get the L'Amour Manicure ($60) with Builder Gel ($60). With the builder gel, my nails last four weeks -- and I have really soft, bendy nails and am incredibly physical with my hands so definitely get the builder gel if you have issues with nails chipping. The L'Amour manicure includes a sugar scrub, massage, paraffin wax, and moisture mask. If you just get the builder gel, they will still clean up the cuticles but it doesn't include the other manicure services. Is it more than other places? Yes, but you get what you pay for. The overall cleanliness, atmosphere of the salon, quality of services, the ease of booking, and the consistency of the technicians make this place worth every penny.
