We've had a great experience with Fiji on both a roofing and siding job. We were quoting siding about a year ago with paint failing on cedar shake shingles, but was a little out of the budget. However, our salesperson, Jason noticed some damage to our Cedar roof from the Labor Day weekend hail storms of 2021 and worked with our insurance to get the roof replaced, turned out really nice. Fast forward a year and after dealing with a handful of incompetent painting companies, long story short decided to bite the bullet and just get the house resided. Jason came back out and requoted the siding and noted a ~3 week lead time. Just like the roof, the crew was on-time and did a fantastic job with a great attention to detail. A few quibbles I had about certain details of the job they came back out and addressed no questions asked. They also worked with me to get all new gutters instead of rehanging the old ones so the color would match perfect, which was appreciated. I couldn't be happier how the house turned out and will now be years of maintenance free living. Highly recommend and will definitely reach out Fiji again when our carriage house needs siding. Fiji engaged me at my home after re-doing the roof of some neighbors. The process started well, and they made engaging insurance easy. Red flags surfaced when they talked about covering the deductible with the insurance money (insurance fraud?) by not redoing the gutters listed in the insurance breakdown. Not long after, we had a meeting where I felt comfortable going forward with the work on the roof. However when they left my home, I noticed my name signed on an agreement (but it was NOT my signature, they never asked me to sign anything). The sad part is, I would have signed the agreement if they'd asked me. I asked them to cancel the work after my name was forged. It doesn't matter how important or unimportant a document is, I am NOT willing to engage with ANY organization that forges my name on a document. Upon hearing that I decided not to move forward with Fiji - Chad, the owner, CAME TO MY HOME AND YELLED AT MY WIFE. He said, "what goes around comes around". If that isn't a threat, I'm not sure what is, but I don't feel that any honest business would conduct themselves in that way. I can NOT in good faith recommend this business. I noticed the well dressed rep was talking with a neighbor of ours and I asked him if he could stop by and take a look at our roof following a pretty massive wind/rain and hail storm. Within an hour or so, They were on my roof and said, "no problem, we see the damage and we'll take care of everything for you with your insurance company". Fiji and Chad Hagen, the owner, took the job on and upgraded my roof quality and insisted on extra ice damming protections and even did my porch and shed in the matching roofing. They assisted my wife (happy wife, happy life!) in picking the proper shingle style and color and had the job done super clean and super fast! Again, I'm a Realtor and I work with many buyers and MANY sellers-I come across a lot of homes where the owners do NOT realize they've been hit by a damaging storm and I can tell you, Zach, Chad and his team have saved my sellers, friends and clients an untold amount of money and moreso, aggrevation. 2 recent estate sales I did for clients had major roofing damage from storms. Not only did Chad and Zach handle all the negotiations on "our" (I'm on my client's team and one of them at heart) behalf, they essentially saved the clients more money than anyone could imagine-PLUS their work helped me to sell the properties in record time. I reached out to Fiji for some wind/hail damage that occurred earlier this summer. The sales person was friendly and on time to meet to look everything over. I was only missing a few pieces of siding and a few shingles. I told them that if their inspection revealed that it was worth an insurance claim I would file it. If not, i'd be happy to pay out of pocket for the repairs. The salesman did say they charge a lot more for small jobs or may pass. But I said, I'd rather pay out of pocket than insurance if not worth the claim. After inspection on the roof, in their opinion, it was "worth the claim". Adjuster meets us and reviews and determines that only replacement of the shingles are approved and the replacement of the siding. So when I contacted them back about the repairs being approved, I was told it wasn't worth their effort since the roof wasn't approved, it was too small of a job and the owner charges "ridiculous amounts" for those small jobs. I feel I was bait and switched. So I now have a claim on my insurance and no contractor to repair it. Oh, and I could have paid it out of pocket like I originally said. I don't believe they are trustworthy. If you have someone file a claim because of your professional opinion, then hold up to it and do the work! They are looking for the big pay day jobs. I wouldn't recommend using them. I have friends in the insurance industry who when I told him I called Fiji, he told me that was a mistake. Should have listened to him in the first place. We used Fiji to replace our roof after hail damage. Within the following year we suffered some water damage related to the severe winter we all just had. Fiji jumped right on the issue with the water damage, assessed and repaired it (this included the exterior roof and interior). Adam was great, responsive and stayed on the follow-thru. When he handed off to Debbie in the office, everything stayed on track, she was always in contact and things went great. The original roof replacement went just as great too.
