We originally stopped by to get dinner at Midnite Ramen which is a food truck that shares the area with Figurehead Brewing, but because it would take some time to order we decided to grab a table and grab a beer while we waited. There are a couple tables inside but most of the seating is outdoors. It's a very dog friendly place and there was also live music when we were there. I ordered the rock the spot hops ($7 for 16oz) which was a good hoppy beer. Sitting outside with a beer in my hand and seeing all these groups of people socializing and having a good time was really awesome to cool, especially since I haven't seen that in some time. Eat some ramen here if you're so inclined, but this place feels like a good time with friends.

I stopped here on a rainy day, honestly because I wanted to get food to-go from the Midnite Ramen truck, but as we approached the brewery it had a nice little covered outdoor area and while waiting for the food, we decided to get a beer & have a seat. This was a cold, super rainy day (last weekend), but I was surprised at how chill & comfy everyone in the seating area seemed! Of course I'd prefer to have heat lamps but then again I easily get cold and I wasn't wearing a warm jacket. We went inside to check out the beer options. The two staff members were very friendly and helpful, describing the flavors and even offering a sample of one that I was curious about. For some reason there's a good amount of breweries where the cashier doesn't seem to want my presence there (maybe because I chose to wear a mask when it wasn't required?), but these workers were actually cool. I really liked the beer I sampled (I think it was something with the word Midwatch), but I wasn't feeling the wine flavors that day, so I got the brown. It was pretty good, but I think I'll get the Midwatch when I go back! In the outdoor covered area, we sat at a nice wooden picnic table along with most other people, and watched the rain pour as we sipped on our beers. Man, it was pleasant, and I'd like to experience it again!

Chill little spot. Enjoyed bringing our 13 month old here so we could enjoy a couple of non-alcoholic options (they had 2: hop water and a brown ale) and some pretzels. The pretzel was delicious! We enjoyed the stone ground mustard. Seemed family friendly and it said it was dog friendly as well.

Very interesting local brewery! Got one of the dark beers which had a coffee after taste which I thought was really unique. They are known for their darker beers but have a wide range. Unfortunately didn't have any sours when I visited. Prices were reasonable too!

Great beer, soda and Ramen, and friendly, casual atmosphere. It was pretty quiet when we stopped by on a Saturday night after an art show, and we noticed they didn't have a heat lamp on for the outdoor seating, but there was plenty of dry seating under the large tent. We ordered two ramen at the truck outside and went in to grab a beer for the bf and a soda for me the DD lol. We got to talking about chicano arts with Andrew who was running the bar, and turns out he's a major artist as well!! It was so cool to talk about beer, art, poster design, and local music shows with him and the other patrons! Definite recommend for a fun, casual visit!

I'm kind of tired of the expression hidden gem, but I'm going to use it now because that's how I felt when I tried Figurehead Brewing. It's kind of laid back and tucked away, and it has a very local neighborhood spot kind of feel. The young lady working was very friendly, and they have a varied selection of brews including a guest and a cider option. They have snacks available such as a pretzel for one. The design on their merch is nautical and cool. I don't think I'm the only one who likes it because it grew very busy, and the line was quite long to order my second round.

Yes I like the vibe here. It's cozy but big enough for sitting at the bar, tables, or even outside. There is a bowl of free pretzels for snacking on with the beer, board games, and a little library filled with a variety of books. Out of the 7 tasters I tried, I only REALLY liked two (midwatch dark strong #7, earl grey Belgian wheat #4) and two pretty alright, like I might get it again if the above mentioned two aren't available (dry Irish stout #12, patersbier #2). Midwatch dark strong - makes sense that stood out to me, they won an award with that one. Most of the other beers were sooo mild, it was difficult to pick up any distinguishing flavors.

My son took us to Figurehead Brewery in the Magnolia area of Seattle. What I liked about Figurehead was the diversity in beers they have IPAs, Stouts, Pale Ales and strong ales. The beer is of high quality and they have some free snacks to munch on while you enjoy your brews, we had fresh popped popcorn and pretzels. Another bonus is they have ciders and tea for the none beer drinkers (Yes, I have heard they exist, I have suspicions that my wife may be one ). Food & Beverages 5 The beers are great and the free munchies are awesome. I do wish they had a food truck close by to add to the experience. Service 3.5 Pleasant over the counter service who knows her beer. Atmosphere 3.5 Indoor and outdoor seating but nothing special Price 4 We had a 5 oz pour of a 9.1% Saison for $2. The most a 5 oz pour was $3. I think a good deal for good quality beer. OA 4.5. If I was local, I'd be a regular.

I fell in love with the ambiance at Figurehead Brewing. They are conveniently located near the fisherman terminal in Magnolia. The nautical-themed brand suits the surrounding environment. They have a small tasting room, that is inviting and not pretentious. They also have a small outdoor seating area. You can check online for a rotating schedule of food trucks. They are dog-friendly. Their brews are English and Belgian inspired. The staff member was very informative and friendly. They had several brews on tap to select from. While we didn't prefer their IPA's, we did enjoy their Belgians, porter, and milk stout. Probably one of my favorite stouts of our beer tasting journey that evening. I like that they also had a rotating local cider available for non beer drinkers in your party.

The beer isn't that good, and the attitude is elitist. If you want good beer in the area, go to Rooftop or Urban Family Brewing.

Figurehead one a gold medal at Great American Beer Festival (2018) in the Belgian-Style Strong Specialty Ale category. That speaks volumes.

All the…read moreoutdoor tables were full when we arrived at 6, so we put our name on the list for inside and waited about 30 minutes. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!

They gave us these post cards to write down our individual drinks. FYI - this place requires using your smart phone to scan a QR code for the menu. We ordered 2 apps (salmon dip with pita chips & chips and cheese dip) I ordered fish and chips. Buddy got the meat loaf. Our beer showed up quick. Waiter always checked on us often. Our apps showed up and they were both delicious. Then 5 minutes later our main dish orders showed up. Wasn't too happy with that because we wasted time to taste our beers and snack on the apps. They need to work on their timing. Need at least 10 minutes in between the beer and apps. The food overall is admittedly top notch. Fish and chips FRESH! The fish was juicy and the fried crust was perfection. Pieces were large. They will ask if you want 3 or 4. 3 is enough. If they can work on timing the drinks and food this place would be a 5 out 5, but will deduct a star because of that. The overall vibe of the place was nice. Huge layout with wooden picnic style tables. Outdoor tables if you're lucky to get one. Large tanks to brew beer surrounding the room and a merch table.
