My husband and I visited for our anniversary, and everything was absolutely amazing! The food was incredible, and the portion sizes were more than generous. I'm not usually a fan of meatballs at all, but the appetizer meatballs are TO DIE FOR! I've honestly been thinking about them ever since our visit. The cheesecake was delicious even without any toppings, and the tiramisu was a chef's kiss--the best I've ever had, although it's also the first tiramisu I've tried! Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. Derrick was amazing; patient, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He made our dining experience even more enjoyable. What has happened to Figs? They changed the Menu (not for the better I might add) and the prices went up. I ordered the prime rib and got a steak that looked grilled, the taste was ok but not, I repeat a prime rib. What shame the first two times the food and service was excellent, not anymore. read more

We had a nice cocktail before dinner at the bar. The drinks were well made after a long wait with only 2 other people at the bar. Once we sat for dinner, the sausage and peppers are highly recommended. Skip the crab cake--overpriced for one circle of mush with cracker filling. Our entrees were delish--especially the chicken Parmesan. The ribeye steak was well cooked but thin like a breakfast steak. The biggest disappointment was dessert. We ordered the chocolate cake to go. When we got home to enjoy our dessert--we opened the styrofoam to find what looked like a partially eaten mess. Look at the picture and tell me you would pay $12 for that. Also, I'm not a fan of restaurants that have credit card machines that have tip defaults at 20%, 25%, and 30%. Bad taste. read more

We decided to try Fig's for our anniversary this year. The restaurant wasn't crowded on a weeknight. We liked the casually elegant atmosphere and the "big band" music that was playing. Our server, Sierra, was great! She was very friendly and paced the meal perfectly. My husband had an old-fashioned which he said was very good. We started with the calamari appetizer. The light breading was perfect. I had the halibut and enjoyed it with a glass of Pinot Grigio. The fish was perfect cooked. My husband had the ribeye, which he ordered medium rare. It came out medium, but he didn't send it back, and said it was still good. We had the creamed corn and au gratin sides, and they were both delicious. For dessert, we had the delicious chocolate cake and Kalhua and cream after-dinner drinks. This was a nice meal, and we look forward to coming back again. read more

So where to start? I guess first, it is hard to believe this place exists. It is a really nice steakhouse in the middle of the country. It feels 'mostly' like it would be in the middle of the city. It does still have a little country charm...not jam packed, and the wait staff was friendly and nice. We were especially impressed with the food. It really was as good as you would get anywhere. Even the bread was impressively good. The steaks were amazing. It is expensive for the country but would be pricier if it were in the city. Very disappointing experience at Figs Steakhouse. During my visit, Iand that no one wanted to wait on me. That was extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. Customers should never be spoken to that way or made to feel unwelcome over a tip. I also personally did not feel the steak justified the price. I understand restaurants charge more than grocery stores because of service, preparation, staff, and overhead, but in my opinion the value simply was not there for what was served. Between the way I was treated and the value for the price, I left feeling disrespected and disappointed. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Figs Steakhouse. read more

Friendly staff, atmosphere felt like a skating rink that was converted to a restaurant. One concern was noticing the bread was uncovered on a cart 6 inches of the floor next to the doors going into the kitchen. I had the halibut which was ok but a little dry. Rest of entrees were not overwhelming. Shrimp cocktail was not chilled as much as we like but taste was good. We were there on Valentines Day so they were busy but based on how quickly our entrees came out we felt like they were prepared before we ordered. Prices were on the higher end. I was between a 3 and 4 stars but ultimately went with 3 stars. I would say for this area, it's a good restaurant and well needed. If this restaurant was in Dallas or Houston it would be a 3star. Welcome to fine dining at the lake. Fig's Steakhouse could be in Dallas or Houston. And you would pay twice the price. We utilized the car service which is amazing for those of us that want to imbibe and headed for Jazz brunch. The tall ceilings keep the sound down. The art is fun reminding things the lake and should not take ourselves too seriously. The wine list was not huge but well planned. The full bar was up for numerous kinds of mimosas for the ladies. The Nonna's meatballs were perfect but could not beat the skewers. The French Onion soup was both light and deep with flavor. The Caesar salad was well plated and did not last long. The eggs were perfectly cooked slow. The prime rib and brisket melted in your mouth. Will be coming back every time we are in town!!!! read more

We were looking for a nice steakhouse to go to for dinner and Fig's popped up on the Google search. Our waitress Christina was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and answered all our questions. The food was so delicious as well. We had the bread and escargot for appetizers. We each had a steak and split the Mac & cheese and au gratin potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. Reading some of the reviews I'm wondering if you were at Fig's Steakhouse? If these complaints were opening night I think you should try again. Every restaurant wants you to have a good experience and if you don't bring your complaints to the waiter when it happens --then you're at fault not the restaurant. I'm happy for our local young adults to get a chance to be trained as wait people in a high end restaurant. For a $65 dollar ribeye steak they need to produce a great steak..ours was about a half inch thick and way overcooked..my wife got a $59 dollar filet and it was overcooked and two people at our table got their steaks given to the wrong person their steaks were incorrect too -brought it up to the waitress and she said, yea, it happens... Sides were ok except the escargot had no butter and were very bland. Drinks were slow to get and of course came out wrong....You don't have the experience to charge Dallas prices because you can't give Dallas flavor, cook or service. for sure, will not return. read more

My wife and I went to Fig's for Valentines/my birthday and it was a horrible experience. We had reserved a spot in the private dining room but were told that they did not have enough staff. They seated us just outside the dishwashing station doors. My steak was so overcooked and dry. I brought it to our server's attention and after a considerable wait, they said that they would replace it but that they were out of the ribeye and that I would have to make another choice. My replacement too an exceptional amount of time so my wife was done dining and our family style sides were completely cold. We were forced to order our desserts at the beginning of our visit and we questioned our server regarding our reduced choices due to our food allergies. I ordered the cheesecake without fruit or berries since I have allergies. Since the meal had taken so long to this point, we requested to have the desserts made to go. When we got home, the $20 cheesecake was the size of a hockey puck and had strawberries and blackberries on it. With the tip, this was a $400 meal and it was a miserable experience. Fig's Steakhouse is amazing, it's the only fine dining that I know of in the Cedar Creek Lake area. Fabulous friendly waiters and staff, excellent food prepared by a chef that has worked and trained as a chef all over the world including previously the executive chef for the Mansion on Turtle Creek (acclaimed as one of the best restaurants in Texas). It's true Fig's lacks an exciting atmosphere, it looks like a metal warehouse from the outside. The interior is a dressed up warehouse with "Pig" paintings on the walls, but the linen covered dining tables and chairs are comfortable and the presentation of food and drink is elegant. Highly recommend everything on the menu, I have been here many times and tried many dishes, all have been excellent. Yes, this place is considered expensive (about $100 or more per person with wine and drinks), but well worth it if you can afford it. Great place for special occasions like an anniversary, birthday or for entertaining out of town guests. read more

the absolute worst first time experience ever, do not waste your time and especially your money. we went for valentines 2026, made reservations for 5:30 pm, we got in early at 5:20 pm and in the vehicle leaving at 5:50 pm. the waiter immediately tells you once you sit down how the menu is going to work in your ordering and the turn around time frame,,which the food litterally came out less than 8 minutes from ordering and how many reservations they have, "great, we got it!" we order 1x wagyu ny 10oz and 1x 12oz ribeye each $75.00 plus, not including the small boat of truffle mash potatoes that were $17.00 that was the worst tasting, that we did not even finish. now, the size of the ny steak was half of a half of a ny steak, my husband looks at me to say, "i hope this isn't it" and the ribeye thin cut with ¼ of it fat and each solo able to fit on the size of a salad plate! glad we ordered the $17.00 fried lobster lollipops that were small, round pre-frozen and fried. thank you, figs steakhouse, for a memorable 2026 valentines, we will absolutely remember the expereince and the $288.00 we left there spending still hungry, but thank you for the small bag of salted caramel squares you provided as we're leaving, that made it all worthwhile! read more
