Inside clean and nice, service was average. Hotpot was good, wish meat was more tender. Corn seemed a little old (like not fresh). I really enjoyed the spicy pickle lamb broth - perfect spice and flavor for a cold night. Another note: wish booths were closer to the tables. I felt far. Would come again, want to try the side dishes too!

I found this place because I work close by and I'm just tired of everything that's near me so I'm trying all kinds of other places it's been so cold inside of the office. I thought having a hot pot would be good and you know what it is good and it's a generous portion. I was greeted warmly Taken care of very quickly. I had questions they were answered they to kill me very well there. I'll definitely go back and try more food there. It was good and everybody at work was like what you get so I will keep you posted on my next review but if you're looking for something that's good Fresh and got good flavors. This is your spot. There was a lot of different things you could've ordered too by looking at the menu you can take a look. I feel like it's a place that's better with like companies so that you can try different things. Anyhow it was good and the portion was a nice size. I'm happy.

I have never had such terrible barbecue. Everything just tasted salty; the meat wasn't fresh and was grilled until it was extremely tough.

Great spot for Taiwanese-style individual hot pot near USC. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and very solo-dining friendly, and ordering is easy with a check-off menu. The hot pots are a great deal at $17.99 -- generous portions with meat, veggies, rice, and noodles, and the broth gets more flavorful as it cooks. We also liked the skewers and small bites, and the shot cocktails were fun to share. Affordable, comforting, and perfect for a quick meal after class or work. I'll definitely be back.

This is easily our most favorite hot pot restaurant! We drive here almost every week coming from Woodland Hills and it's worth every minute in traffic. I love their Sichuan Mala Hotpot for the variety, quantity, and flavor. I especially love their promo deal on drinks. The service is always amazing even when it seems like they're short staffed. The decor, ambiance, and music is very cool too. We always leave here very happy and full!

This place is very similar to boiling point. Taste wise it's a bit lacking. The beef hot pot i got lacked flavor, the broth was pretty bland. The sauces are also pretty limited here and they serve it to you instead of it being self served. However, the alcohol is pretty cheap here. I think id be back to try the skewers but the hot pot was underwhelming to say the least

Boiling Point is better, but this is pretty solid, especially for the area around USC! The portion is relatively large and there's a decent amount of broth. I got the Golden Broth Beef Hot Pot and if you can tolerate a bit of spice, the flavoring is well-balanced between spicy and salty without being overpowering in one way or another. Service can be REALLY slow and sometimes you have to chase down servers. This place is great for when you have the hot pot craving but I probably wouldn't make a whole trip out of it, if that makes sense?

Beef portion size is smaller than boiling point, but menu has good variety. there's almost always a bogo on drinks which is a good perk there's only one server at non peak hours so don't expect the fastest service

Used to our favorite Mexican fast casual - now similar to boiling point concept. The broths reminded us more of Tasty Pot's - a bit watered down and not as flavorful. The meats (hot pot and skewers) were a bit tough. Parking was horrendous.

Located in a small strip mall close to USC, Fig's Corner is a fairly large restaurant serving hot pot, boba, seafood, and skewers. They also have a decently sized alcohol menu. This spot is great to go to with friends because it's got a decent variety and they're doing BOGO on non-alcoholic drinks. Overall, I thought everything my friends & I ordered was quite good and we liked the variety of food that came in our hotpot. We especially enjoyed how refreshing the drinks were! Our server was very friendly and helpful.

If you are in that area you must try this place. The food is delicious and Daniel is one of the nicest servers I've had. The cabbage is definitely something I will have again, the lamb skewers were so good and the place is real clean. I thought I lost my ring and Daniel spent 15 mn digging in the trash looking for it that was one of the most amazing things a restaurant has ever done. I went there two days in a row and would definitely go again.

The place has a modern vibe. Hot pot makes it easy to enjoy a quick meal, and the service is great.

We were…read morelooking for a fun Koreatown spot for large groups, family-style Korean food, drinks, and a place where everyone could actually relax and enjoy themselves without feeling rushed. Found Anju while searching for best group dinner spots in Koreatown Los Angeles and now I completely understand the hype. First off, making the reservation was incredibly easy. Being able to book a large party online without having to jump through hoops was a huge plus. When we arrived, we got seated almost immediately, which for a large group in KTown on a busy night felt impressive. Parking initially confused us a bit because of the plaza setup, but they offer valet and it ended up being super convenient and worth it. The vibe here is awesome. It's technically an outdoor restaurant, but it still feels intimate and lively. Perfect energy for groups, celebrations, birthdays, catching up with friends, or just hanging out over Korean BBQ and soju. Kyle was our server and genuinely made the night. Super attentive, very accommodating with our large party and baby, constantly checking in, pacing the meal well, and just brought great energy to the table all night. Service like that really changes the whole experience. Food-wise, the marinated beef was phenomenal. Easily one of the standout dishes of the night. So flavorful, tender, and the kind of dish everyone keeps reaching back for. We also ordered an octopus and pork dish that completely blew me away. Probably one of my favorite bites I've had in LA in a while. The asado-style platter wasn't my personal favorite compared to the marinated meats, but it still came with a generous amount and was great for sharing with a large table. We ordered a ton of food, beers, soju, shared plates, and left absolutely stuffed. Considering the amount of food, drinks, and the size of our party, we all felt like the value was really solid. Dessert is definitely more simple and traditional, so don't come expecting some massive dessert menu, but honestly the focus here is the food, drinks, atmosphere, and group dining experience. Overall, this is one of the best large group restaurants in Koreatown if you want great Korean food, strong service, fun social atmosphere, and a place that actually handles big parties well. Will absolutely be back.

Most of the dishes we tried were very good, which is why I'm giving 3 stars. However the Korean short ribs were disappointing - the meat was gristly, chewy, and had a rubbery texture. Each time I've come the waitstaff has been super friendly, and the food amazing. So, when planning a little birthday lunch for my mom's 81st birthday, this was one of the first places I thought of. My mom lives in south LA and we live in the valley, so after picking her up, we wouldn't have to travel far to eat. Although we planned to arrive to the restaurant at 2, traffic was horrible and we arrived at 230pm. After looking for parking, I dropped the fam off at 2:40 so they could sit and look at the menu while I found parking. I get a text from my husband saying they closed at 3 so hurry. This was news to me, as I thought they closed at 5. I found parking and rushed in at 2:48, to see my family outside the restaurant. Perplexed, I went in to ask if we could still eat, as it wasn't yet 3pm. No wait staff came to the front to greet me, so I walked in a bit and asked the waiter if it was okay to eat. The waiter said we close in ten. I said I thought the website said you closed at 5. I must have read it wrong. I understand, but it's not 3 and we came a bit of a distance and it's my mom's 81st birthday. The waiter, whose name is Jack, offered to ask the kitchen if they would still make food. I said yes please would you ask? While Jack was asking, another waiter asked me if I had been helped. I told him yes, that Jack was asking the kitchen if we could still have lunch. This waiter says, we're closing in 10. I'd like to have lunch too. And walks away. Yes, with shade. Jack returns and says it's fine as long as we can order within a few minutes of getting the menu. I say great and we all come in. The 2nd waiter takes our order with the least amount of personality he possibly can, and the whole lunch is slightly awkward and we're not able to truly enjoy ourselves with the feeling of "we better hurry up and eat" lingering. By the time we ordered and received our food (which was delicious as usual) , there were still 4 other groups of customers there, and we actually left the restaurant within a minute or two after the last customers before us. Also, no one came around to ask how our food was and if we needed anything. I'm giving 3 stars because this experience didn't quite sit right with me. Yes, it was near closing, but your doors weren't closed and there was no sign saying last call/order at 2:45 or anything like that. I feel like once the kitchen approved making our lunch, customer service should have been at its peak for paying customers, who gave no attitude and tried to be as polite with the ask as possible. It was not. I still tipped 25%, because Jack (waiter 1) was polite and my 81 old mama who I was celebrating raised me that way, but I'm not sure I'll patronize them again.
