Ab-Pho-lutely Still Delicious -- 10 Years Later! Under the I-10 freeway lies this hidden gem that's been quietly serving happiness in a bowl for years! Back in 2015, when our corporate office first moved to this side of town, Pho Saigon quickly became our go-to lunch spot. We practically turned "team meetings" into "pho meetings." Their Combo #1 (Pho + 2 egg rolls) was always the move -- perfectly seasoned broth, generous noodles, thinly sliced beef that cooks in the steaming soup, and those dangerously addictive egg rolls that I could probably eat by the dozen (don't tempt me). Then... the world stopped. COVID hit, and our regular pho runs came to a screeching halt. Fast-forward to 2025, and we finally made our grand return -- this time for my birthday lunch with the whole crew (party of seven!). And let me tell you -- it's like nothing changed in the best way possible. The place is still clean, bright, and welcoming. There's been a change in staff since the old days, but the warmth and friendliness remain the same. Half of our group had the deep-fried chicken -- crispy to the bone, juicy inside, served with fried rice and their secret dipping sauce of dreams. The others went for the vermicelli bowls with charbroiled pork and steak, and of course, the short rib pho that looked absolutely heavenly (and smelled even better). Overall, Pho Saigon remains what it's always been -- a cozy, delicious, no-fuss spot with food that hits all the right notes. Ten years later, it's still ab-pho-lutely worth every visit. First off, the food was #1 quality! The restaurant is very clean and the service is very nice and polite. I ordered the special combo which had Pho, egg roll and a drink. I also got the pork sandwich. I work all over LA and orange county, and this takes the #1 spot. Its a must try. There is also gated parking which is a perk in LA. I highly recommend the pork that was my favorite. The beef was tasty as well, but the pork was over-the-top delicious. Also got the appetizer platter to get a good mix of their appetizer, which was delicious as well. My favorite of appetizers was the shrimp crispy shrimp wraps. Most definitely will go back again. I saw "phorrito" on Yelp and I have never had it or seen it at any other Vietnamese restuarants so I thought I'd give it a try. It's listed under appetizers on the menu. I had pork phorrito. It's sooooo good. It contained lots of pork. Reasonable portion for the price. I was already full after eating half of the phorrito and the soup. I only took a few sips of Vietnamese iced coffee. The coffee was great too. It's flavorful and thick. I'd definitely revisit this place because other food in the photos on here look amazing too! Lastly I wish the service could be faster. The location is pretty terrible, it's right next to a pot shop and a freeway overpass in downtown LA, so it's not exactly prime real estate. However, the food is very good. Not the best pho I've had in my life but nowhere near the worst, and I have had a LOT of pho in my life. The broth is rich, the noodles aren't over cooked, and the service is pretty much exactly how you'd expect a Korean owned restaurant to be, or actually probably better because it's just one lady for the restaurant. She hustles, but it's pretty busy at times, especially at lunch due to the lunch special combo, which is a pho, egg/spring rolls, and a coke for $18.95. I found this place after picking up my son from school. He was craving pho. I was a little skeptical about parking at first because it is in the Downtown area. However, parking was no issue, there is a parking lot. We ordered our food, to go. The place was very welcoming and the service was amazing. They brought the food to our table even though it was to go and the lady( I'm assuming is the owner) gave my son a capri sun and some gummy bears. You can always tell how great a place a business is by the way they treat children. We got to work, and ate our pho and the food was amazing. I will definitely go again !
