Steak & Eggs

One of the cutest spots along the Venice Boardwalk giving Tulum vibes. I love the plethora of outdoor seating which lets you enjoy the SoCal beach breeze and sunshine. The steak and eggs were delicious. Great savory flavor. Shout out to the crispy potatoes as well. Here's a tip. Make a reservation if you can. If not you might not have much shade to wait for a table.

Wow!! The view from here are gorgeous. The service was quick and polite. The food was rock star. The fries are perfectly crunch and seasoned well. Best fries yet!! The pickles on my burger on sweet and a great addition. Their menu shows the local farms they use, nice to know it's locally owned. Cost wise menu items are responsible for locally sourced food

I think Fig Tree is a really popular restaurant alongside Venice Beach, and it was the perfect first and last restaurant we went to in LA during Coachella weekend! We got a mix of things, but I think the breakfast plate was the best thing I tried. Service was quite good, and we got our food and drinks really quickly. I would pass on the kale salad (but this is also very personal because I just don't love kale), but the steak and eggs and breakfast plate were both so solid.

Fig tree was such a treat. Parking was easy, a stroll along the beach set the mood... and then came a warm welcome from the most vibey hipster LA waitress I could imagine. Effortlessly cool, casual like an old friend. Then a different waiter with equally cool energy took our order. Food was amazing. Coffee was perfect. And a street performer sat and sang Nat King Cole songs backed by the ocean. Perfect spot for a perfect morning.

Went for my friend's birthday and food was great but the service was very disappointing not sure if it was because my party and I were a younger crowd but we did not feel as though we were welcomed. We were often ignored and we found a hair on one of our drinks. Other than that the ambiance was great.

Fig tree was such a pleasant surprise! I honestly assumed it must be overhyped because of the location but I was so wrong. We went on a Friday afternoon and even though it was packed, we were able to find outside seating quickly. Everything we ordered was absolutely phenomenal! You must get the Coconut and Plantain pancakes and the Chicken Tinga Hash - such a perfect combo or sweet and savory. Those pancakes are actually made from multi grain flour and their texture was amazing! The coconut matcha was creamy and delicious. The outdoor seating is perfect for enjoying a hearty meal while people watching. There was a guy playing some songs across the street and the whole ambiance was nothing short of perfect. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took our order promptly and delivered in reasonable time considering how busy they were.

If you're looking to stop for chips, guacamole, and a cocktail with a view of Venice Beach, this is a decent spot for that. The cocktails are yummy. The service was very inconsistent ranging from super friendly to completely ghosting us. Shortly after sitting down, we asked for two new water glasses because both of ours were dirty with food in them. When the waitress picked them up, she simply placed the dirty glasses back next to the clean ones, presumably to be reused for another guest. That was enough to almost make us get up and leave. After we returned home, I realized we had been overcharged for extra drinks. Unfortunately, after reading other reviews, it seems this is not an isolated event. So my advice would be if you do come here be sure you carefully check your bill.

Down in the area for work near Venice Beach and this spot popped up at just the right moment. When we arrived it was almost empty, which honestly made the experience even better. It did pick up toward the end, but service never skipped a beat. Attentive, warm, and genuinely top-notch without hovering. The food leans toward classic comfort happy hour rather than full "destination dining," which is why this lands just shy of five stars for me. Everything was good, thoughtfully prepared, and enjoyable, but there wasn't quite that singular wow bite that locks in a perfect score. I very much enjoyed the small menu with the farmer call out on the back! That said, the natural wine list absolutely deserves its own applause. I ordered an orange wine that was a textbook example of the style: bright, balanced, and refreshingly free of funk. It paired beautifully with the Black Magic Baja oysters. They were on the smaller side, but beautifully briny, clean, and honestly perfect little salty slurps. The Kalamata olives surprised me in the best way. I preferred them far more than the green olives, which almost never happens for me, so credit where it's due. The salmon tostada was lovely and satisfying, and the ceviche was light, fresh, and pleasant, nothing overworked, nothing heavy. Overall, this is a place I really enjoyed and would absolutely return to, especially for breakfast. Calm atmosphere, excellent service, solid food, and a wine program that clearly knows what it's doing. Comfortable, unfussy, and quietly confident. A great stop if you're in the area and want to linger a little longer than planned.

Ambiance is both local and international, with a relaxing atmosphere for a relaxing meal with an option to bring your pet while on Ocean Front Walk with a beautiful beach view! Whether you're there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner - you will be amazed at the food quality, exceptional service (especially from our server Sandra). From their bar mixology to their gourmet meals - you will be back for more, trust me! Come on Mondays and your bill is 50% off too!!!!

I was walking my dogs on the strip and stumbles across fig tree ! They had a cute patio and allowed me to bring my fur babies in - The service was amazing they were on top of it They let us enjoy our food without to many interruption . The food was so good I forgot to take a picture - we got a half dozen oysters that were phenomenal- they had so many options that looked amazing. Unfortunately I was doing keto so I got the burger minus the bun. It was so good that Ali sauce was amazing. My partner got the steak and eggs and the steak was cooked to perfect perfection, we will definitely be coming back here. The price was great for the quality of food that we got.

After stopping by here for lunch, I decided to host my birthday party here. In the beautiful outdoor garden, I hosted 30 of my closest friends and family members. Matias, the owner was responsive and easy to work with from the beginning. He provided me with his cell phone # and we were able to communicate both via text and email. He also generously provided a complimentary tasting as I haven't tried many of the items on the catering menu. I ended up hosting a birthday lunch on an early October afternoon and the weather could not have been more perfect. It was warm with a cool breeze. The menu I ended up with were the following: Appetizers: 1. Ceviche (beautiful and balanced in flavor) 2. Japanese sweet potatoes (one of my favorite starch cooked and seasoned perfectly) Entrees: 1. Steak with French fries (need I say more? This was a hit!) 2. Chicken sandwich with avocados and bacon (flavorful and the bread with perfectly grilled) 3 Grain bowl (healthy, light and filling) Dessert: 1. Chocolate churros (My absolute favorite! Read my last review) Drinks: 5 cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. All the food turned out really delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by the avocado chicken melt sandwich as that was one of my last minute changes. I had left-overs and loved it! All of my guests were raving about the food and the ambiance. Chloe and Mitchell served us well.I am extremely thankful for their hospitality and support and happy faces. Thank you Fig Tree Venice for a great meal and a lovely and memorable experience.

I've been here twice. The first time, I came with a big group and food was delightful! Everything came out at a nice time and was fresh. The second time was no different! I came here both times for breakfast as they have a great breakfast deal (%50) off all breakfast items! Service is great and overall, I'm excited to come back. The only issue is that parking absolutely sucks at all times. Most lists are $20 for 2 hours and there very rarely street parking, even early in the morning!

Most of the bars are dive bars in downtown Santa Monica, and parking is quite accessible for this place. So I'd recommend for that reason. In terms of the drinks, I'm a huge fan of cocktail but I would say their menu selections are a bit limited. Nothing in the signature cocktail looks interesting to me, so I had the bartender make a classic cocktail instead. He's very attentive and friendly, didn't take forever to get a drink either, no attitude. Drinks aren't watered down either. Nice! You come here to grab quick drinks when you don't feel like being at a loud dive bar in the area, it's in a hotel but not too upscale, no strict dress code. Music is not loud and they have couches and booth if bar table if not your thing, you don't have to yell or pretend you hear everything to hold a conversation here (lol). ** Keep in mind 20% gratuity is automatically included in bill, it's my first time here. But I think I've other spots I'd prefer to be in, even at Santa Monica. Wouldn't be self-motivated to come back because there are better places that specialises mixology, and there are also better upscale hotel bars to be at. But if you're around the area it's a great intimate bar for date night that's not overly pricey. Wouldn't travel all the way to here just for this (if you know what I mean).

It's located in the old Clock Tower building, and the Art Deco decor is absolutely stunning--dark enough to hide a bad day but vibrant enough for a girls' night. The Vibe: It's loud, lively, and perfectly "bohemian chic". If you're coming on a weekend, prepare for a crowd, but it's the good kind of crowded where everyone looks like they just came from a gallery opening. The Food: I'm still thinking about the Crispy Chicken Sandwich--it was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and came with a fennel-apple slaw that actually felt fresh. We also shared the Bacon Wrapped Dates (obviously) and the Hand Cut Kennebec Fries, which arrive in a bowl so huge it could basically be its own zip code. The Drinks: Their Happy Hour is arguably the best in the city. I had the Japanese Dream with matcha, and it was expertly crafted--not too sweet, which is my biggest pet peeve. The "Misfit" Moment: The service can be a tiny bit slow when it's "rammed," and there's a 4% kitchen fee that feels a bit unnecessary, but they make up for it with those complimentary sea salt chocolate chip cookies at the end. They are warm, gooey, and life-changing. One major heads-up: I heard a rumor they might be closing their doors on April 18th due to some landlord drama, so get there while you still can.

If you're lucky enough to grab a front-row seat or one of the coveted bar stools, you'll start to notice the details: metal pipes, and rods that spark the imagination. You're in for a treat! What I really appreciate about Harvelle's is that they don't charge you an arm and a leg for tickets. The artists are humble, talented, and consistently engaging. I've been to burlesque shows where the performers feel like they're just there, going through the motions. But not at Harvelle's. We decided to go to the bar and conveniently a couple left right when we got there so we actually decided to sit and have our dinner at the bar! We decided to order a lychee martini however I don't believe the bartender heard us and gave us lemon drops instead, again I'm not one to really complain I like lemon drops so we finished our martini, I would give that a 5/10 honestly it was a little too sweet for me, for our second drink we ordered "The Elephante" with vodka, it tasted like mezcal I'm not gonna lie which is not my favorite, however it wasn't horrible I give that a 6/10. For our appetizer we ordered the Meatballs which I actually loved, we were so hungry I forgot to take a picture but I give it a good 9/10 only because they were just a little dry We also ordered the Burrata & fig, wowww this dish is to die for!! All the flavors are combined beautifully I give it a 10/10! Lastly, for our main dish we ordered the - Vodka pasta: 7/10, this dish was great but as someone who LOVES vodka pasta I must say it wasn't the absolute best I've had. The pasta shells needed to be cooked a bit more and the sauce wasn't anything crazy, however I did enjoy it. - Branzino: 6/10 this is my boyfriends rating I don't eat fish, he didn't think the taste was anything crazy - Wild mushroom pizza: 7/10 this pizza surprised me only because it had some lemon in the sauce but it was very delicate, I thought I would hate it but it was great. However, the only thing I would complain about is how soggy it became, when we would pick up a slice the cheese and toppings would fall. Overall, I think the experience was great, sitting at the bar definitely gets your orders in quick, our waiters were great and quick. Parking was easy, right across the street or valet. I would go back again!
