Delicious Mussels
Marita S.

Charlotte was our wonderful server for lunch. She was so sweet and super welcoming. The food here is amazingly delicious!!! Small restaurant nice and busy with very nice boutique shops nearby. Highly recommend this restaurant when you are in the Biltmore Village. You will enjoy the service and the food!!!

Crème Pots De Crème (Gf without the cookie topper - was wonderful). Bread Pudding which my husband says was amazing.

Amazing food! The service was great and very accommodating. I have gluten sensitivity and they did a great job making accommodations. Can't say enough good about this little gem. We will be back.

Duck Confit Salad is perfect if you want a light lunch

I stopped in for lunch and I'm so glad I did. First of all, the lighting at lunch is fabulous. They have windows on both sides of the restaurant and it is just lovely. Bright, light, airy. Perfect lunch environment. Today I wanted something small and light so I asked my server what she suggested and she recommended the duck confit salad which was not on the menu so of course I went with that. It was the perfect recommendation and met my needs exactly. Satisfying but not too filling. I left perfectly happy.

This place is an absolute gym. I just came here for lunch and it was so delicious. Deviled eggs - beautifully presented just slightly lacking in flavor but not terrible. Grilled cheese- this has got to be the absolute best grilled cheese I've ever had in my life. The bread is toasted to perfection, it's light and buttery, and the combination of cheese and green apple is divine. My server's name was Ty or Tay. He made an old fashioned for me and it was his first time making one - I couldn't tell. This had to have been the most delicious old-fashioned I have ever tasted in my life. Friendly and accommodating staff and beautiful setting - highly recommended!

Fig Bistro is our favorite restaurant when we are in Asheville. The intimate ambiance, as if you're visiting friends. The food is always very good; even the hamburgers!! We had salmon and tilefish on Saturday with PEI mussels as an appetizer.

Fabulous cioppino!

We had an amazing dinner this evening at Fig's. It was some of the best food we've had in months! The cioppino was fabulous. I am Cieliac/gluten-free and absolutely loved the salmon with a white zucchini sauce with gluten-free bread. we highly recommend.

Just go. Josh is a magician with what he does in the kitchen! Ate most of the things before I was able to take a picture but everything from the celery salad, to the entrees, to the olive oil cake dessert were better than we could ever have imagined.

Teenager approved.

Fig is a cozy spot right in Biltmore Village with the look of a trendy bistro, limited but delicious and decadent menu, and top notch service! We recently visited for our anniversary and brought our son along. My husband ordered the short ribs which were not short on flavor (ha ha) and cooked to perfection. My son and I both enjoyed the pan seared salmon on fingerlings. A perfect amount of food and all cooked to please. They've got house cocktails, teas, sodas, and local brews to accompany your meal. Don't forget to grab dessert--we ordered the panna cotta and it was melt in your mouth heaven! If you're looking for something a little different, with easy parking, close to downtown, this is your spot!

I opted for the Charleston Chicken biscuit, that came with fried chicken, cheese, bacon gravy, and a side of home fries. I did add a fried egg to mine to take it over the top and was so glad that I did. The flavors meshed so well on this biscuit, I couldn't put my fork down the entire time. The only thing I do wish, was that the biscuits were a little more on the fluffy and softer side. Both my girlfriends' and mine were a little overdone, but nothing outrageous. The menu as a whole seems to have great options so I don't think you could really go wrong here. Added bonus, it was within walking distance of our hotel downtown so the perfect spot to try. Service was great throughout our visit as well!

For food I got Hot honey chicken sandwich with fries and a Side of ginger dill coleslaw. The slaw was pretty good. Wish it was a little more 'dilly'. Very friendly and reasonable prices. Service was friendly. A tad slow but it was worth it. Had a local vibe but also a IFKYK vibe. Yelpers giving up the good recommendations. Definitely a must stop.

So much fresh veggies, great tempeh, and yes the veggies! Really good, not salty, not soaked in oil. Really, really good. SCW oradered the Rueben. Really good as well. Great vegan rueben that wasn't soaked in oil. Laughing seed was awesome. The people were great and so welcoming. Give Laughing Seed Cafe a chance. I'm sure you'll enoy it.

I tracked them down at AB tech (schedule online). The truck may be small but it's mighty. And might cute. They offer a variety of middle eastern food- not a lot of options but in my opinion when a place has a speciality, they tend to do it better. And this place does it best. I opted for a falafel wrap and it might have been the best one I've ever had. The falafel and tahini was perfectly seasoned. The bread was some of the fluffiest bread ever. Perfect amount inside and in total. I'm not a fry girl but I'd make an exception for these folks. The price is very fair for some incredible plant based, delicious, homemade food. A win for us vegetarians (and those who just enjoy good food). Next time I'll remind myself to opt for no pickles- my mistake haha. Point is, there will def be a next time. Yum.
