First off the decor is so inviting and cosy and reminiscent of an old gentleman's club or smoking room with large leather seats and dark wood tables. There is an impressive bar and the space is laid out well so that it is ideal for groups and parties as well as intimate dinners for two. But enough about that, lets talk about the food and menu. For me it is one of my favourite menus in Dublin. Good hearty meals and traditional flavours and styles with modern interesting twists like Chicken Lemon and Thyme, Braised Pork Belly and Grilled Goats Cheese, three of my favourites on the menu! Well, do does exactly as a pub should do, serves decent pints, in a comfortable well laid out space, with a laid back vibe and huge outdoor, covered, heated smoking area, with its own bar. There is even a cool little snug here as well, which is great if you don't want to be seen with your date! otherwise you will be seen here because as I said everybody drinks here! This place goes off when there is a big sporting event on, especially any Irish or Dublin games of any sport and it is always jumping on the weekends.
