Throughout our trip to Ireland, we were unfortunately not impressed with much of our dining experiences. Pichet changed that. We were completely impressed with the quality of food, the flavors and the overall experience that we had. After two weeks of mediocre fare Pichet changed my opinion on the food scene in Ireland and I was so happy we stopped in. The service was great and the ambience was absolutely lovely. Next time we're in Dublin. We will definitely be coming back to Pichet.

Made last minute same day dinner reservations after walking by earlier that day and glancing at the menu. Shared an app, two mains and a dessert. The food was delicious, great flavors and cooked perfectly. Really enjoyed our dessert, thyme ice cream was such an unexpected flavor with the peaches and white chocolate. Service was good but waiter was a bit off putting. Would love to try different dishes here.

Our family of four had a delightful dinner at Pichet. Each of us loved our dishes and all sampled each other's. The presentation of the food is exactly what you would expect from this caliber of dining. The service was also on par. The dining room is cozy, and our table made us feel like we were dining alone and out of the way from other guests. I would definitely return, especially since their menu seems to change quite regularly.

Husband chose this place for my birthday dinner while we were in Dublin. After a couple of flight delays where we had to move our reservations, we ended up arriving earlier than we rescheduled for but they were able to accommodate us on a weekday. Small restaurant with an upscale feel but I didn't feel under-dressed with my winter gear on. We started at the bar and they found a table for us before we got our food. The elderberry Collins- OMG. Soooo good. if nothing else, get this drink. I'm not much of a drinker so for me to finish a drink is unheard of lol. I had the halibut 5:5 and husband had the duck-4/5 I think he would have like it 5:5 if the skin was left on. We also had the scallops and celeriac for appetizers. They were so sweet and brought out a birthday treat as well.

A bit of a let down if I'm honest. I planned our trip to Dublin for our 27th Anniversary for months. Reservation and excitement building for months for Pichet. When we showed up, our table was one in the middle of the dining room surrounded by other tables and definitely not special. We showed up 15 minutes early so parked at the bar and ordered a few cocktails from the bar. I didn't want to be late since the instructions were clear. The bar was fine. Once we were escorted to our table I was so disappointed to be sat at a table in the middle of the dining room. I made our reservation early and added that it was our 27th anniversary so hoped for a decent table and a little extra love but no. Good was good. To be fair the beef short rib appetizer and venison main were really tasty so the food didn't let the place down. Service was adequate. I didn't feel a need to order anything more so dessert wasn't on the agenda. So for me, yeah, food was good but not worth a second visit based on my overall experience. I appreciate it for what it is but it is nothing more special than the many places I've visited in Dublin. We're headed to Pickle tomorrow and hope That makes up Some of our letdown at Pichet. Not sure how it had the Michelin distinction. Especially not worth a visit on a special occasion. We were left with two sad jellies on a plate. Hmmm.

I am always so skeptical of result nice places like this but I have to admit Pichet killed it. We had a reservation and they let us sit early which was honestly great because since it is kind of a coursed meal it took about 2 hours which was fine because we were happy to sit and chat. I ordered a delicious glass of red wine and the bread service came. Delicious and simple. For our appetizer, we got the scallops and salmon. The salmon was great and Smokey and the scallops I loved the hint of chorizo and so tender! For our main we all got different things but I got the fillet and this was just so tender. I was skeptical in portions but this meal was very filling. Everything you could tell was curated and the vibes of the restaurant and the staff just elevated that. We also shared the fried artichokes as a side which came with a great sauce. Of course we had to finish dessert and we really came for the Eaton mess which was just perfect. I had an Irish coffee to accompany it and the meal was finished. A worthy stop for an amazing culinary experience!

A fabulous stop for a special occasion dinner. We came here at the end of a few days in Dublin for a special occasion dinner. The wait staff was wonderfully accommodating of some allergies in our party and was really helpful picking out dishes that all of us could enjoy. The atmosphere was lively but not loud, a place you can go with older guests that still want to hear table conversation at a quiet volume. The pate was a standout as well as the carrot cake dessert, which was in sort of a deconstructed format and the Eaton mess which was refine version. Really though, you could pick just about anything on that menu and enjoy it. A lovely place for a special night out!

Really felt like home dining at Pichet this past fall. We made a last minute dinner reservation after passing by on a walking tour. Staff was very welcoming and greeted us immediately. The manager even stepped out to have a chat and check on us during our meal. Very quaint yet cozy dining room. The food was filling yet the portions were small enough that you could order multiple things off the menu. We took the waiter's recommendation and ordered the steak and orzo. Ireland has some of the best beef. Can never go wrong with a steak.

Service - 5 stars Ambiance - 5 stars Food - 3 stars Saw this on Michelin guide and thought it was a fantastic value. The beautiful decor and elements of the seating and wall decorations in three unique rooms were stunning. The attentive staff with different utensils and constant filling up of water was good. The starters were excellent - mussels being our favorite. Then when the entree came it was disappointing for us. The venson shoulder and duck breast for the main was complicated in flavors and texture. Not impressed but a very good value. The sides cauliflower and peppers were mixed in extra flavors that didn't make much sense to us. Perhaps we should have diversified our dishes and chose a fish or something else. Bread was delicious Btw we asked them for additional and they were kind enough to have given us a few more slices.

My food, service and ambiance was amazing! I ordered the mussels to start and duck breast for my main course. Both was perfect cooked. I will recommend this restaurant.

This was an incredible dining experience. Certainly Michelin worthy. We made a reservation online and were seated right away for dinner. They are very popular and reservation only so plan ahead. We tried the scallops for appetizer and I have to say they were the best scallops I have ever had. Beautiful plating and delicious sauces and garnishes. It was a very unique and refreshing way of preparing scallops. My husband doesn't like seafood typically but we were fighting over this dish. For entree my husband got steak with a side of cauliflower and I got the halibut. Everything was delicious. Service was perfect. We had drinks and water instantly replenished and plates cleared promptly. It was a very memorable dinner experience for our ten year anniversary, thank you!

Delectable French bistro located near the heart of the city that's just far enough away from the crowds that you feel like you get some peace and quiet. Started with the Chablis that was refreshingly buttery and paired perfectly with all of the bites to come. Bread brought to the table reminded me of a milk bread challah and was exquisite. Appetizer was the hot smoked salmon with a fried hen egg - think NY lox meets avant garde michellin dining. For the main course the agnolotti and cauliflower were both ridiculously good. Definitely worthy of all the accolades they've received. Portions were large and satiating. Only knock I'd have is you may wait a while for food, but that's part of the experience at a bistro like this!

I feel Pichet was the pinnacle of fine dining in Dublin. From the first moment we stepped in, I had a good feeling. The decor and vibe of the place almost made it seem like we weren't in Dublin anymore. It wasn't super gaudy but it still had this perfect balance of royalty and homeyness. When we ate dinner this night I'm pretty sure we walked to the restaurant so I'm not sure of the parking situation. I don't think theres street parking since its in a part of the Temple Bar area thats really just meant to walk to. I definitely would check for the nearest parking garage. As for our meal, we started off with some cocktails. I got the Rum Punch to start and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't a super burst of fruit like I am used to. I tasted the rum but also got those pineapple and passionfruit flavors on the end. It also had more frothiness to it than the cocktail normally has due to the egg white which was fun. That's why I love sours after all. For food they had a Tomahawk Steak special for 2. Now let me first say, if you see this as a special and you haven't tried it, I highly recommend you do. This was easily one of my favorite meals on my Ireland trip. The steak was amazing just on it's own but the the 3 sauces it came with was icing on the cake. My favorite one was the peppercorn sauce. It was so rich, and peppery but it also was a little thick like a gravy. It's something that you don't really see on a menu from where I live in California. Most you would have is an Au Jus with some horseradish sauce for a Prime Rib. Most other steaks you eat alone unless it comes with wine reduction of some sort. So it was extremely fun to try something new and fall in love with it. Literally everything we had was good. I hate corn and I actually liked the corn soup. Like...how is this possible man? Oh. We also did order wine with our meal but I couldn't remember if I tried. It was that good...What we did was just have our server recommended one and that's what I would recommend for you too. The people working here aren't just a friendly face. They are very knowledgeable on food so if you run into any crossroads definitely pick their brain. But man that peppercorn sauce...No other sauce came close to the one I had at Pichet. I want to try and perfect this at home now...

This might be one of my favorite meals of all my travels. We were immediately seated and taken care of in a small cove. It was very secluded and quiet for a nice date night. The service was on top of it, someone at the table every few minutes. It's definitely an experience. They have some phenomenal wine options by the glass or bottle. We started with the avocado ponzu which omg really set the stage, it had perfect flavors. My fiancé got the duck, which was so tender and flavorful and the pepper sauce (mousse?) was to die for. I got the potato dumplings on the vegetarian menu and they had chunks of perfectly cooked morels! The sauce and the flavors were so delicately paired and showed the no brainer of why this spot is recognized my Michelin. We also got the side of carrots and the aroncini, both super tasty. It was a wonderful meal, definitely an experience. I was impressed with the prices, I expected much more expensive for a place of this type, but it's very fair and makes it attainable for almost anyone to splurge on a delicious meal. 1000000/10 probably one of the best restaurants I've eaten at, highly recommend.

The gentleman who greeted me was pleasant and took my coat and offered to take my bag as well. I was escorted to the second room where multiple individuals were there to greet me. They recommended a berry vodka martini to start. It was sweet but not overpowering. I was given an appetizer of the tartare which was beautiful and delicious. For dinner I ordered the halibut with broccoli as a side. I would have sworn the halibut was cooked sous vide (don't know if that's how it was but it was amazingly soft and delicate). I could have ate the broccoli as a full meal it was amazing. The team here would come and check on me and have casual conversations with me. They were engaged and I enjoyed the conversations. For dessert I chose the crème brûlée. This was probably the best brûlée I can remember ever having. As most places in Europe there was no rush and I enjoyed my experience peacefully. Everyone thanked me for coming and the gentleman at front recalled the rest of my time here and conversed a bit before leaving. I loved this place and absolutely will recommend making a reservation here.

We should have made reservations in advance, but it was our first night in Dublin. We lucked out and got a table for four. Nice selection of items on the menu yet not overwhelming. Had something for everyone. Wine list had most of the bases covered. My wife had the pan roasted chicken and the rest of us went for steaks. I confess we didn't do the dry aged version. One of our group had the filet and raved about it. Yet she wouldn't share, but that's a different story. Two of us had the garlic and thyme infused ribeye. Cooked to our liking and delicious. For dessert we all shared the apple tartlet, and a port. A great dinner and a perfect way to kickoff our vacation.

Perfect temperature, great flavor and mixture of cheese/croutons/onions. Portion was a good size too. Filet was cooked as ordered and was flavorful, not as tender as I would have expected but good nonetheless. Steak came with a choice of a sauce and I chose a butter with some type of cheese. It was good but it was more of a butter than a sauce. It also came with a side and I chose a fancy French named potato that was nothing more than a thick cut French fry. Pass. The entrees were more memorable. I had the Fillet Of Irish Beef. I hardly ever order filet mignon but I'm glad I did. It may well be the best I've ever had. With Café de Paris butter, shallot pureé, pepper sauce, rocket (arugula), and a side of french fries. The flavor of the meat itself was incredible and the three sauces complemented it perfectly. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare as ordered. French fries aren't normally something to get excited about but these were a gastronomic masterpiece; the insides soft and sweet, not starchy, the outsides browned and subtly crisp, and I don't know what they were fried in but these had so much flavor it must have been beef tallow or duck fat. I'd come here again just to have a platter of these amazing fries! The wife's Coq Au Vin Façon La Maison (chicken breast braised in red wine, smoked bacon, mushrooms, baby onions, roast carrot, pomme purée) was equally memorable. I've never considering ordering this, thinking it too simple or plain. Not this. The red wine sauce really elevated a simple braised chicken. And how do they make even a simple carrot taste so good? We each had a wine from the ample selection of by the glass offerings and shared a gingery dessert which we both enjoyed. The service was good and not rushed. Just don't be intimidated by the waiter, who announced when he brought the bill that tip was not included; it seems this could have been handled more subtly.
