This was out first time here at Fiesta. We came for my sister in laws daughter's birthday dinner and were treated very well. Staff was very attentive and brought out the food fairly quickly. We were served chorizo, asada, and pastor tacos. My favorite were asada and chorizo. We also had ceviche de camarones and it was so delicious! The margaritas and beer are HUGE! We also ordered shots... because why not. Th place was clean and tradition Mexican decor. We were served complimentary chips and salsa. I hadn't been here for a few years and I won't be back. The food was pretty bland. The refried beans had zero flavor. I wanted a marguerita but the house one was $18! And that was the cheapest one. Service was good but that was about the only positive thing for us. I noticed on the menu they use peanut butter in their sauce. Not in big letters, no warnings. Good thing our son wasn't with us. Didn't have the best experience. Spent $40 on skinny tacos that was lettuce with a bit of chicken, black beans and some avocado. It was fine, but not great and not worth the price. Wife had a veggie burrito that was mostly rice and onions. If you're an onion lover then you'd probably give a higher rating than I feel justified. read more

When mexican restaurants try to make it more complicated than just standard Mexican cuisine it goes wrong. Don't make it difficult, taste your food your serving. The food was subpar and they brought us on the house flan. It was very good but doesn't make up for bad food. read more

This place is an annual pilgrimage when we stay at our timeshare near Keystone. Appears to be a different owner/staff from previous years, but food is still solid and tasty. Seems like a family restaurant for locals than a snooty upscale Mexican restaurant. Margaritas are monstrous (20oz) and their specialty margaritas are really good. We ate here a while back and enjoyed the margaritas, so we decided to visit again. Food was better this time. I had a small combo of chicken enchiladas and chile releno. This place is pretty good and I'm not sure where the negative reviews are coming from. It is not the best but it's a really good safe bet place. If I lived closed by we would come every once in a while Overall (B+) Huge portion sizes, fairly friendly and fast service and pretty good food Service (A-) Would have giving them a higher rating but a bit of a language barrier. My sense is that is what is causing the negative reviews. Was mostly individuals with Latino ancestry who spoke Spanish besides us and they seemed to be satisfied. But our food came out fast, they provide extra chips, were friendly and nice. Value (B+) It was around $61 with tip and tax and no appetizers for 3 individuals - it as plenty of food. So not great prices but not super expensive. Seemed pretty fair in this economy Quality (B+) Food was good. I got beef enchiladas , tacos and tostada. Kiddos got burrito and tacos. They really liked the shredded beef and the chips and salsa. I like what I got and really like the salsa they provide. Nothing I would travel specifically for but if I was a local would swing by every once in a while. I don't think the overly negative reviews are fair. This place wasn't crowded on a Tuesday night so we were sold! The decor is cozy, the place seemed clean. The food was good. The chips were crispy and delicious but the salsa was a bit too spicy for our table. It was fresh though!! We ordered the chicken enchiladas and the vegetarian Spinach enchiladas which also had mushrooms and cottage cheese...? According to the menu. They were good too! Both entrees came with beans and rice, and a fresh pico type side which was better with the chips for us!!! The only thing was, the wait staff didn't check on us once, or ask how anything was. Weird. Even borderline rude. One guy came and asked "all done with everything?"I asked for more chips and he told me they charge for the second basket and I said that was fine. We came in for cinco de mayo (which also happens to be our anniversary). This was also close to our hotel. The food was good and fresh. The hostess was super friendly. Our meal was really good. The reason for the 4 is the fact that our waiter was not good. He was inattentive, took forever to get to us. We asked for water and it took him over 10 minutes to get it to us. Asked for a to go box and it took another 10 minutes for him to get that back to me. And then took another 5-10 minutes to get our receipt back to us after he took our card. Other waiters/waitresses were extremely attentive to their customers. I was watching. Unfortunately ours was just not good. That is the reason for the 4. I am not going to give a totally bad rating because of one bad apple amongst all the folks. Everything else was super good! As a native of Mexico I have to say this is some great Mexican food when you are in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. I highly recommend the fajitas burrito and the tacos al pastor. And don't forget their famous sopapillas before you head to the mountains on your drive. read more

I've been a local patronizing this place since 2002. Though it's been a while since I was there, it has always been decent with reasonable prices. On Saturday I went in at 1:00 and the place was dead. I ordered an $18 burrito. I asked for another salsa, no chips (2 oz+-) and a lime wedge to doll up the salsa a little. When I got the bill I was charged $2 for the salsa and $1 for the lime wedge. Roughly 17% of the original meal. Was the place dead because they rip folks off or do they rip folks off because business is dead? My tip reflected my feelings on it. read more

Okay, I lived in San Diego for over 30 years and eat Mexican food in some form more than most people living in Mexico City. I just returned from Puerto Vallarta a week ago. I will go on record as saying this might be the worst Mexican food restaurant I've ever experienced at every level. Our server was polite but too 15 minutes to contact us. Food took almost 45 minutes and drinks were never re-filled. The cheese enchiladas were the worst I've ever had...mostly sauce related. My taco shell may have come out of a store bought package. Oh...and the chips and salsa were inedible!!! It's pretty bad when the rice & beans were the highlight. I know I'm piling on but yeah, it was that bad. I had already submitted this review when we got our bill. We had 2 margaritas and a Dr Pepper but they added a Coke and had FIVE margaritas on the bill....so nearly $40 over!!! read more

I'm a 60-year-old disabled man. A cancer survivor who uses oxygen from a year of liquid plumber called chemotherapy being pumped through my now failing heart. I try to stay active and alive by riding an adaptive tricycle. The other night I took a ride from my condo in Keystone out to Silverthorne for groceries. While I was in Silverthorne, I experienced electrical failure on my tricycle. I had been in the elements for about three hours and five people with trucks had refused my $50 offer to get me just 6 miles down the road to Keystone. I was stranded at the Shell gas station and I could see the glowing light "cocktails" in the distance across the intersection. Earlier I got the good idea to call AAA and sure enough they would help! In an hour, then two, then three. I called the tow truck driver that I had to call to come and get me and told him I was gonna relocate to the sign that said cocktails. The warmth of the restaurant was incredibly comforting and the staff at the bar seemed nice I carry layers and I wasn't going to freeze to death but I was very uncomfortable and my heath is not good. I ordered a Michelada which was presented properly and a nice big thick glass with a nice salted chilie rim. The drinkfelt lovely and refreshing. I had told the bartender my tale of woe and that I was freezing outside and that I'd be with him until 10:30, (which was the hours posted on the door). He responded in the affirmative that was okay. Finishing my michelada I ordered a second and stepped outside to call my wife. To my surprise when I returned, the bartender was actually pouring my second Michelada into plastic quart to-go soup container! He informed me informed that they were closing and then he was pouring me "to-go" beer. I wasn't given the option of the request as to whether I'd want to drink a beer in the parking lot out of a quart plastic container. I wasn't given the option if I wanted to go back outside into the cold, I guess spending $18 an hour wasn't sufficient. It was 9:50 PM when they kicked me back out and told me to take shelter in the laundromat with my plastic container of beer. I haven't drank more than one beer in eight years since I beat stage 4 cancer in my spinal cord and brain. It was clear that I'm not a healthy person and the staff knew I was in a dangerous situation. All I needed was 10:30, closing time as posted on the door. I'm sorry I didn't eat, I had already done so. I didn't know you could serve alcohol to go in Colorado, but I know it cost me 38 bucks to get out of the place. I have no idea why I tipped the bartender. I kept my Michelada. It's sitting in my fridge and I intend to bring it back to the owner of the store. A total disregard for the welfare of another human being. Who cares about the food, these people don't belong in the Summit County I know, not very ZL at all. You don't do things like that to people.
