Food was surprisingly good, however we ordered a strawberry fizz mocktail for my children (7 and 5 year old) and husband. The drank tasted funny so we asked the server/bartender if this was a mocktail, she said yes, we said so the kids can have this and she said YES. At the end of our meal paying our check, the server was going over out check saying something about the mocktail. My husband(sober 3 years) mentioned something again about the drink. Told him I don't work there. I gave up as he was finishing his check and walked out with him. Delicious food at a reasonable price! Their salsa bar has more than several different salsas (I think we tried them all & all were delicious). They had fresh cucumber slices, pickled carrots & onions & peppers, and a combo of chopped onion & cilantro to top your taco with if you want. My husband got a burrito with beef, beans & brown rice that he liked a lot. It was really big! I ordered 2 tacos. One chicken and one birria (beef marinated in a delicious sauce). They served the birria taco with a little bowl of the sauce to dip in or add to it. It also came with pickled red onions on top. Mmmmm. The chicken taco was just chunks of chicken in a corn tortilla. We stopped in for a quick dinner and were not disappointed. We chose to each get 3 different tacos so we could try most of the meat options. They were all authentic and delicious. The meat came on corn tortillas and there was a salsa and topping bar you could use to customize your meal. The meat portions were generous and I could have easily been full from 2 tacos. I love this place! I stop every time I go through Dillion. The tacos are amazing. Especially the brisket and barbacoa. The drinks are great a well. My favorite was the horchata and the tamarindo. The owner is so nice as well. I have pretty high standards for Mexican food (coming from CA) and you do not always find gems like this in the mountains! Definitely worth coming here. read more

The aesthetic of this place is sooo cute! I loved walking in and hearing them blast reggaeton! the service was quick and amazing! (We drive two hours without breakfast and we didn't not wait long) They also STACKED the meat on our tacos so 10/10 (glad we only got 2 and not four!!) def saved ourselves there!! HOWEVER , the only reason I'm leaving a 4 instead of 5 is because it's $6 a taco which doesn't sound bad and everything else was reasonable for the size and taste! .... our side of guacamole was $9.50..... I'm sorry I know it's the mountains and everything is priced differently and supplies and demand is different than Denver but I cannot justify a tiny size of guacamole being $10!!! This family-run business is a gem! The menu selection is expansive and there are options sure to please everyone. Carne asada tacos are superb! The food here is amazing. We went to kucu or whatever the tequila bar is for tacos the day prior and it was so basic and bland- we regretted not coming here. THIS PLACE IS AMAZINGG! We've had costras, tacos, quesadillas, chips and guacamole and all have just been phenomenal. This was our second visit and every weekend my husband begs to go back! Only downside is no queso. Everything was so tasteful and delicious from the tacos, Torta to the horchata to the salsas. But what made this restaurant so amazing-- I left my purse in the booth and didn't realize until I got home (2hrs away) I called and they immediately offered to ship it or hold it for me as long as they needed to.
