The drank tasted funny so we asked the server/bartender if this was a mocktail, she said yes, we said so the kids can have this and she said YES. Thats when the server said that there was tequila in the drink. In shock, I repeated what she said and told her I gave a couple sips to my children. Then proceed to ask what their mocktails entailed because any mocktail I know does not have alcohol in there. Also to mention that there signs say "safe for kids"

Last night was no exception. We waited quite a while before anyone came to our table, and a couple of the staff seemed genuinely inconvenienced by our presence. For a restaurant at this price point, good food isn't enough--the service should be better. Here's the kicker... with three minutes left in a nail-biter of a Bronco game, we'd paid, were standing by the bar watching the finish, and were told they were closing and we were ushered out. We weren't in the way, and the staff clearly weren't leaving anytime soon. Three minutes. Broncos game. In Colorado. Come on.

The moment we walked in (we were the only people in the restaurant) the staff who looked more annoyed than welcoming. The food was the biggest letdown. Everything tasted bland and rushed, like it had been sitting out too long. Ever experience soggy nachos? Well, this is the place for you. The chicken wings, that apparently are not only deep fried are also baked (as I was told by the server) take about 50 minutes to come out. Steak quesadillas were lukewarm, and frankly all of the food was simply meh. Ever seen brown guacamole? You can see it here. Service was equally frustrating. It took forever just to get someone's attention, and when I did, the attitude felt dismissive, almost like I was inconveniencing them just by asking for basics like water refills. "Can't you see we are short staffed" - buddy, I have worked and owned places that are short staffed but have to ask for water 4 times, hanging another table do the same .... I can go on and on. Frankly, so many better options around that are so much better, also short staffed but friendly and at least make an effort to be friendly. Hope your experience here is better if you are brave enough to waste two hours for crappy food and incredibly sub par service.

We entered through the patio entrance, found a table right away, and our server quickly brought us water. I ordered one of the house specialties, the Chilled Tuna & Salmon Poke Bowl ($24), and I'm so glad I did. Every bite was fresh and delicious. It had just the right amount of spice--enough to add flavor without being overwhelming. My husband ordered the Summit Mushroom Burger($20), and after stealing a few bites, I can confirm it was excellent as well. The fries were exactly how I like them: crispy on the outside, fluffy and tender on the inside. Great food, attentive service, and a dog-friendly patio made this a wonderful lunch stop.

The cauliflower was crispy, well flavored, and a good taste. We shared the Summit mushroom burgers with goat cheese, wild mushrooms, spicy pepper jelly and roasted garlic aioli. The burger was delicious, juicy and a real treat. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was helpful, engaging and working hard to service the crowd. Eclectric Bar and Grill is not fancy, but a solid option in the burger scene. Give them a chance and judge them for yourself.
