I attended an event here hosted by a third party. All the staff members I encountered were really open and friendly. Most, if not all, the pianos in the showroom, were available to try out. Steinway pianos really are beautifully crafted with lots of attention to detail. Of course that comes at a hefty price, some as high as $200K! The exciting part is that Steinway is now making more "modern" looking pianos with different pops of color. The upstairs is a nice space for recitals. The event I attended included a 45 minutes recital by Vijay Venkatesh and 2 piano unveiling! I think you can rent their open areas for events. The other cool fact about Fields Pianos Home of Steinway is that it's family-owned and operated since the 1950s! Currently, I believe Michelle, the granddaughter, is the one operating the store. She provided a cute story and I hope they continue to thrive.

My final moments with the traded-in Schafer & Sons with 30+ years of memories.

I really enjoyed my interaction with Derry who was very helpful and not pushy at all. He treated me and my son with so much respect, even though we are not world-class musicians, and he recommended just the right keyboard - - Roland GP607 - - instead of trying to upsell. We are very happy with our purchase and also appreciate them letting me trade in my old Schaeffer & Sons upright and giving me credit for it.

Purchased a Steinway Model B Spirio and could not be happier with service and execution. The team member I worked with was Mack. He was incredibly knowledgeable and a genuine great guy. No high pressure sales tactics. Highly recommend supporting this business and purchasing your next piano from them.

Piano field

Best place in Orange County to buy a piano, their selection is wide, sales people are knowledgeable and was able to fit a piano for my 12 years old girl

This place is super annoying. I don't know why, but it just is. I was here and was looking at pianos.

Just bought a Casio hybrid from Chris. I had the most pleasant, amazing experience buying a piano…read morehere. Chris was so patient with me as I came in three days in a row to find the best piano for my need. He spent time showing me various pianos and educate me on how to pick out a good one and the mechanisms behind the pianos and the history. I appreciated all of that. He showed me the Casio and a few others amazing sounding ones like the Schimmels. He showed me the back room where they restored pianos to bring them back to like new conditions. The works are done in house daily, so it gives me the peace of mind on the quality of the reconditioned pianos. He was flexible to work with me on figuring out the delivery, the payment. The piano I got was not one of the expensive ones, but I got the same patient and kind treatment as a high end client. I'll treasure this piano and the experience I had at the Piano Empire Megastore. He wasn't joking about he had the largest selections of piano and the lowest price! The hybrid casio I got was $1000 lower than being sold online. If you need a new or used pianos, I would definitely recommend coming here first. I also had some amazing conversations with his associate, Rod, who was so kind and knowledgeable. We talked about pianos, God and Jesus and life. Lola, his piano craftsman helped to figure out how to transport my brand new in-box piano in my car. He was creative! Overall, they make a good, strong team. I wish them a lot of success and blessings.

Just their original offering price was already much lower than any other stores around Irvine, and they included tuning and transport with our purchase. They also agreed to help us sell our previous baby grand. Store atmosphere is nice and they carry many brands, not just Yamaha. Great service and value, would highly recommend.

Before I came in, I was mainly interested in the Roland digital piano HP704, so I called ahead to ask if they had it. I was honestly surprised when they said yes, because I worried they might just be saying that to get me to come in. But they really did have it. Not only did they have that model, but they also had several other Roland options, from more affordable models to higher-end ones. I even got to try a more expensive model that I had not known about before, and the sound and touch were much better than the one I was originally planning to get. I'm really glad I had the chance to try different models, because otherwise I might not have made the best choice. Sunny helped me with the sale, and she was very patient while I spent a long time trying out the pianos. Since I plan to play a digital piano at home with headphones, I took extra time testing the different models. I used the headphones they provided and played on my own for quite a while, and I really appreciated that she gave me the space to explore without making me feel rushed. I was also the only customer there at the time, so I may have had a bit more flexibility, but I still appreciated how comfortable and unpressured the experience felt. After the sale, Julia and Sunny also helped answer the other questions I had, and they were both very welcoming and kind. Being there made me feel so happy because I love pianos, and the atmosphere felt so cozy and welcoming.
