They didn't always start promptly and they were usually in tiny, hot rooms big enough for one small folding chair (plus instrument and standing student with teacher). We tried it out for a couple months and it was not for us. When canceling, they assured me it would be okay, but of course they continued to charge us the following months. I called, and again no return messages. I called again, spoke to someone and they said James would call me back, but not a word since two weeks ago. Instead of working with us to find a fair resolution, the response was simply a list of penalties and charges. I hope the school improves its communication process and ensures that parents have a clear and reliable way to contact staff in urgent situations. Families deserve transparency, consistency, and a little compassion. He is very personable and is really passionate about the quality of his Steinway pianos. He said his pianos go through a five months restoration process to make them like new. Don't expect a fancy piano showroom. The store is located in a plain storefront with street parking. He said by keeping the overhead low, he can sell the pianos for less. About ten days after delivery to the house, Bob sent Dan, the piano tuner, to make sure the piano is tuned and setup perfectly. We highly recommend the Piano Store if you want a high quality fully restored Steinway grand piano at the right price.
