I reached out to Yen via Facebook marketplace regarding a specific piano and he was extremely responsive and transparent, providing me a wide variety of options to choose from without being pushy. Based on my research around Yamaha pianos I think their pricing is overall pretty good/competitive. I blind purchased (tried same model in a different showroom) a used Yamaha YUS-1 and had it delivered to the San Francisco Bay Area because we don't have a lot of stock for that model in this area. I visited his store by appointment on Saturday, picked out my piano, and had it at my apartment by Monday! Yen took his time explaining the various pianos and options. He listens to what you're looking for and gives his honest opinion about what best suits your needs. A+ overall experience from beginning to end. This is a review posted a day after receiving my piano. I will update in the future. I first was in contact with Yanlin, the owner, via Facebook. He was very friendly, professional, and very prompt with responses. I queried about several pianos that were listed on Facebook. A week later I scheduled an appointment at his studio. He was very welcoming, friendly, professional, respectful and very knowledgeable. He had the perfect balance. He was not pushy at all and would give his recommendations on which piano he thought we should consider based on our needs. I appreciated his opinion and was very helpful in our decision. He was also very honest on the conditions of his pianos and if any had any issues with it. We ended up purchasing a piano that had a minor issue but was disclosed to us. We did some research beforehand and had gone to other used piano stores and he has very good and competitive prices. The conditions of his pianos were also very good. It was also a great experience to watch him play- it was like a mini concert and it was lovely. We came with our kids and he was very kind of them, even offered his iPad as they were getting a bit rowdy. We got a great deal on a Yamaha UX with 5 year warranty and a free tuning. We got it delivered by Yanlin himself and 2 other guys and came right on time. The piano was handled with great care. He even gave us a bouquet of flowers as a thank you.
