I'm really really lucky to have found Yari! I was gifted a piano from a neighbor down the street and I needed help moving the pinao and tuning it. Yari was the first piano company that actually PICKED up my phone call and was able to move it quickly, so I decided to go with them. Two days later, Pedram and his son moved the piano to my home right on time! I always appreciate a business that is 1) responsive 2) ON TIME. After moving the piano, I was shown how dirty it was. Pedram had made some suggestions and gave me very competitive pricing to move it/clean it/tune it. You can just tell how passionate Pedram is about pianos and how much he truly cares about the craft. He came by about a week later and brought all of his tools to clean and tune it! He worked on the piano for QUITE some time and really brought it back to life! The piano was in MUCH better condition than it was when he first moved it. I was in such awe after he moved it in the house. He played a few chords beautifully and I was enchanted with the sounds of music in our home. I'm really looking forward to learning and teaching my sons how to play the piano!!! CRIMINAL! Awful! DO NOT waste your time!!!!! BRIBERY NO SHOW Yari himself told me a price and time to meet. On the day of my move he text me a higher price and said "pay me this amount or I'm not coming." I was shocked and felt like this is criminal behavior. I tried calling and texting several times to see what this was about and he didn't answer. At my appointment time he called me and just started screamed into the phone at me telling me that he wanted more money and that I "ruined his morning" and that he won't be coming (even when I ultimately agreed to pay the higher price!!!!) and hung up on me. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I do not think the service is good at all nor the quality of the work. Pedram picked up my deceased mother's piano from me in mid May of 2023 to refurbish, polish, tune it up and give it a good facelift (it is well over 50 years old). He said he could have it done within a few weeks or less. I was so excited! I too learned to play music on this piano like my mom. He said he would text me pictures along the way but that did not happen. I have been very very patient with him and have been texting him for the last 9.5 months once a month asking when I will get my piano? Each month he has an excuse of why it is not done. After my monthly text to him in January 2024 he finally sent me photos of it, torn apart, sitting in pieces outside on the ground under an open to the outdoor elements balcony, being worked on while it had been raining for days and weeks in a row & more rain was coming. Last I knew moisture & humidity are not a good mix for exposed unfinished wood & pianos. This piano has never once sat outside for an extended period of time except to be loaded into and out of a moving truck for a brief period of time. How a piano refurbisher/refinisher/tuner thinks the outdoors like this is an acceptable location to store & work on a piano is beyond me??? It is now February 25, 2024 and I still do not have my piano nor a reply to my latest text inquiring about it. I do not recommend Yari (Pedram) for service on a piano. I have relinquished myself to the fact I may never ever see, hear or play on my childhood piano ever again and that is just sad & very disappointing. This review is long overdue but Yari worked on our antique piano that has been with the family for quite a while. This piano has not been touched by anybody for over 15 years!
