Anthony picking up Lucy from our wedding - wouldn't have been able to have her there without him :)

Anthony and his team are absolutely amazing! We cannot say enough good things about Fido's Gotta Go and the incredible job they do for our girls! We especially love the constant stream of updates we get while we are away - texts and pictures of our girls after their walks and play time We don't trust our girls with anyone but Anthony and his team - we 100% recommend them to anyone! Anthony was even sweet enough to pick up our Boston, Lucy, from our wedding after she hung out during cocktail hour - we seriously can't thank him enough!

When it comes to your dog, if you're like me, you only want a place that's going to love them and treat them with the amount of care and respect you give them. So, why choose Tony and his crew when looking for a dog trainer? Because not only does he have years of experience working with many dogs, hundreds of hours of leaning and training with leading professionals within the obedience field, but most importantly he LOVES what he does. I'm in my last year of college so dog training is a luxury for people like me, who only have a college budget to begin with. However, it is something that I knew I needed to do for my dog without question. I live in the city but I work at a stable with horses, so not only did I need the basics taught to my dog but the commands needed to be solid and reliable off leash as well. Those commands are what keeps my dog safe when I am in the saddle or working at the stables during the summer. I called so many trainers, well over 50, and the reason I chose Tony (and will only ever choose him to ever work for my dog) is because he goes above and beyond for every single animal in his care. I cannot tell you how long he stayed on the phone during my initial informational call, noting every single concern I had. Tony actually LISTENED about who my dog was, who I was, and my hopes and dreams with my new pup. He not only understood my worries but laid out a thought out game plan that could work with my budget, and time I was asking for a lot: a trainer who could have a price range that I could actually work with, actually give me a well-trained dog and someone who would love my dog while under their care. Tony has stepped up to the plate in every single one of those aspects. During Hammer's (my dog) board and train, I would constantly be sent pictures and videos of Hammer, which was great to see especially since I missed him so much while he was away. Tony always gave me weekly calls to update me on Hammer's progress and to answer any questions or concerns I had at the time. He worked so hard to find a training method that actually worked on my pup. When my dog wasn't feeling well or was feeling stressed out Tony resorted taking my dog to HIS home in order to make him more comfortable and to be able to keep a better eye on him. He gave the best quality care and went above and beyond our expectations, and the dog he returned to me blew me away. He's so well trained that when I do take him to work, he even heels next to me as I'm ON my horse. I always get complimented on Hammer's behavior, temperament, and training which all comes as a result of all the hours and hard work that were put into him. Hammer still has a long way to go with his training and is now going to his second board and train with Tony in a couple of weeks. The reason why you should choose Tony to train, board or even walk your dog lies within my own personal story and experiences with him. He makes having a well-trained dog possible for anyone and works with the puppy parents as much as he works on the dog. He's not in this business to take peoples money, if he sees your dog need additional time after the agreed set training time he will put in the additional training time towards the dog with no additional fees. Trainers as dedicated and passionate as the one found within Fido's Gotta Go are rare, so take the opportunity and give your dog the best Chicago has to offer.

Our dogs LOVE Anthony! One of our dogs does not get along very well with strangers. Since he's a pitbull, it can be rather intimidating when he's growling at you. After a week of Anthony not giving up on him, he was hooked! They are both always stoked to see him walk through the door. The Pet Check technology He offers is also very cool in the fact I can get live updates at my desk and feedback from each visit. Anthony has been a godsend for us especially not giving up on our difficult "child" while some other walkers we tried previously said no. He has been walking our dogs about 11 months now and has always been 100% reliable. I can't recommend him enough!

Yvonne has a wonderful way with dogs and is very equipped to deal with challenging dogs.  Darby quickly warmed up to her because she knew the right way to interact with him.  He quickly learned to trust and LOVE her.  She has become his favorite person by far!  She has helped us immensely by teaching us how to meet Darby where he is at and engage him.  Make no mistake- you have to do the work if you want your dog to get better. It is HARD WORK.  But you will have a knowledgeable, funny, and caring teacher right behind you if you work with Yvonne.   Darby is still working very hard, but he has made such huge strides. In a year, we went from a dog who was snapping and growling at us to joining a group class!!!  We never thought this would be possible!!!  We just can't believe he is the same dog!  We just finished the Basic class with Yvonne and it was fantastic.  The Avondale location is spacious, so you have plenty of space to work with your pup and the homework is helpful and just enough- not too overwhelming. It is great value for the price! I can't say enough positive things about experience. If you have a challenging pup, this is the place.  There is hope. Thank you, Yvonne and Anything is Pawzible!

While I wish things had panned out differently, I had an absolutely horrifying experience with…read morePawsome Dogs/Melissa. My experience with Melissa started with a rave review from a friend, and I hired her for 5 lessons (with a referral discount from my friend) and later added 25 minute walks while I was at work Monday through Friday ($70/week). Initially, I was happy with the way she connected with my puppy, however I always had concerns about her communication style and lack of professionalism. [sorry for the long review...scroll to the bottom for the short version] From the start, Melissa was constantly texting me about her other clients, personal life, love life, etc. Melissa offered me discounts and requested all of my payments be made in cash so she wouldn't have to report them through her business. As a new dog mom, I was happy to put my puppy first so that he was getting the care he needed. A few months into my walking and training with Melissa, my roommate decided to have Melissa walk his dog as well. At this point, Melissa notified me that she was letting some of her walking clients go, but was planning on keeping our dogs as she was making $140 most weeks (in cash) from walking them both. She also let me know that she would give me one month's heads up if she was planning on dropping me as a walking client. Living in Chicago, safety is always a concern, and for me, trusting someone with keys to your place is a big deal, and I had informed Melissa I needed at least two weeks notice to be able to find a new walker that connected with my pup. In the most recent months, we noticed from the time stamps on our security system that she was often not even walking the dogs for the full 25 minutes as per our agreements, presumably because she was getting busier in other aspects of her life. Last week, she informed me that she was dropping me as a client effective that week. Forced to scramble together and find new arrangements for my puppy, I let Melissa know that I was disappointed in her lack of professional courtesy. At this point, I have used 4 of my 5 training lessons with Melissa, and I requested that we cut off ties and that she refund me the remaining $50 from the unused lesson. I thought we'd just wash our hands of the experience and move on, but instead, she went on a rampage about how I have no right to make such a request, that I'd be forfeiting my remaining lesson, and that she was going to go and convince my friend that I was being irrational. I was most appalled by her activity on social media following our conversation where she used profanity to describe me as a "crazy lady" for my concerns (screenshots posted in the photos section of this Yelp page). TL; DR? Melissa's lack of professionalism ultimately led me to lose all respect for her business when she broke verbal and written agreements (after I spent thousands of dollars for her services), and then harassed me about it.

We bought a package of 3 sessions, and she came to our condo to work with our dog- sometimes at home but most of the time while out walking in the neighborhood. Every day they have a big smile on their face and it's clear how much they love the dogs and treat them as their own. I feel so confident leaving my dog there, knowing she is matched with a group of other dogs. They have toys, get treats, and so much play time. They are communicate throughout the day, and post pictures/ send pictures. They have the cutest special events- like a Christmas play day or birthday celebrations available. I love that they limit the amount of dogs in the play area at once, and always have two dog handlers in the room for safety. I know she is in the best hands. And truly nothing makes my day better than getting a picture of my rather reserved dog with a big smile on her face when playing with friends. The only thing that beats it is how tired she is when she gets home. I recommend Posh Pet to every pet owner out there!
