My dog refused to get walked by dog walker Lizzie and would hide and seemed afraid of her pretty much from the beginning. Unfortunately, but understandably, after over a week of just trying to get her out of the house to be walked, we were forced to end services because my dog wouldn't budge. While I know this is not entirely Lizzie's fault, because my dog is a skittish girl, this behavior was somewhat out of character for her and therefore I believed that it was partially my dogs issue and partially an issue with the walker. If a walker enters your home apprehensive or scared, why would a already skittish dog trust you? My beliefs were solidified when exactly 1 week later my dog had zero issues with her new walker. But the part that upsets me most is during the time that I was having difficulty with my walker and after being forced to discontinue services, we NEVER heard from the owner Amanda. She never reached out to us and tried to resolve the issue or work with us. I just was completely dumbfounded that a business would function this way, or that she would let her walker handle the entire situation. So, as a person that believes strongly in professionalism and customer service, I would not recommend this company. read more

Highly highly recommend Poodly Pawsome for all of your walks. First, the online scheduling portal is so convenient. Second, they send you pics every time (which is a fun distraction at work). Third, they write handwritten notes about your walk and how your pup did and they are so informative and sweet. Fourth, you can pay them through venmo or quick pay-- again, super convenient. I had my first experience with Poodly Pawsome last week while I was away for a few days. Amanda and her employee Erica are fantastic. They treat my two pups like family and you can really tell they care. Both my dogs love them (including one shy pup). They use an online platform to set up your pet profile, house instructions, and to schedule walks. It's really easy and you see confirmations of scheduled visit approvals. I did both 30 minute walks and one hour play/walk visits. Continuing onto more perks, after each walk a summary with photos, map, and pet details is sent via email. They even leave additional recap notes at your house each visit. I had such peace of mind being away all week and trusting this team to be my dogs' new best friends. Amanda and Jose are THE best! We've got three large-ish pups who can be a handful sometimes, and require a lot of attention to detail (as two of them can be food aggressive with each other if left unattended.) We primarily use Poodly Pawesome when we're out of town overnight, and the pups have never had a problem, even when we leave ridiculous raw food feeding instructions with a gazillion supplements. Our last trip was overseas, and even though we were gone for two weeks, all the dogs were happy and healthy when we got back, not sullen and ticked off at us like usual, and I swear our house was cleaner than we left it... Our dogs clearly got the love and attention they needed while we were gone. They're also incredibly flexible and accommodating - Amanda is on standby for us as we get ready to deliver our first baby.
