Awful, misleading sales-tactics that aim to take advantage of new home-owners and goad them into purchasing a heinously overpriced water filtration system. Right off the bat, recieving a FINAL NOTICE postcard in the mail about a held parcel. Sounds legit, we just moved in and sure, postal communications and deliveries might be dicey for a few weeks. I call the number, the person on the phone misrepresents themself as an employee for our utilities company and that there is something wrong with our water system/pipes and it needs to be tested, and to set up an appointment for a field agent to test our water. Blatant lies from the sales agent once he got to our house. I clarified that I was not interested in a sales pitch, only in testing our water to make sure it was still as acceptable as our initial inspection proved it to be. He offered compensation for our time by way of gift card, tested our water, we watched a video about water purification and how the Fidelis system is just the BEST, and then when we declined to PURCHASE THE PRODUCT, the agent got a little aggressive for 'wasting his time'. No gift-card, even though this was a good 45 minutes of our day wasted. Following this awkward home visit, I started receiving outright harassment via repeated phone calls the same day. When I further decline more services, the phone agent immediately copped attitude accusing me of 'not letting the agent in our house', which is an outright lie as we sat through that entire time-share-esque presentation. I must have been imagining him setting up his laptop on my kitchen table, being asked for 2 clear glasses for him to test water, and the silver briefcase full of vials of chemicals. The showmanship of man who came into our kitchen was commendable, even asking for our participation, but legitimate water testing companies bring all of their own equipment and require neither audience nor audience participation. I'll admit, I got a little short with the person on the last call. I'm sick of the constant calls and outrageous levels of condescension from your agents. I've blocked the number twice but still recieve calls. My request to speak to a supervisor was denied. If we ever decide on a water filtration system, it certainly won't be yours and I will warn everyone I know away from your awful company. read more

I rarely take the time to leave a review but I am confused and livid. Like many people wrote here, I got a "final notice for a parcel" in the mail with a phone number. We just moved and also recently had a baby so it's not unusual to receive packages. I called and they presented themselves as the city of Brentwood welcoming us to the neighborhood with a gift card and offering a complimentary water testing. I know the water in this town is terrible so for some reason I believed them. I agreed on a time for a technician to come test our water. I specifically remember them using the word technician. My husband answered the door while I was upstairs with the baby. I heard the guy say he is not supposed to do the test with only one person... so I came down. I did not anticipate is a full on demo in my kitchen with a bunch of chemicals and a PowerPoint presentation to try to sell an $8000 water filtration system. The whole thing seems surreal right now. The sales pitch was something between Cutko knives and those vacuum cleaners where you see someone spill all kinds of things on the floor and you are supposed to be really relieved when the floor is clean again. The clincher is he wanted to explain that this 8k system would pay for itself if we just look at how much we spend on soaps and cleaning solitons... the math didn't work out and he still had to tell us that the company offers a bunch or free soap products and laundry detergent and shampoo etc. classic distraction tactic... The fact remains that our water is shitty and needs a filter.... but I cannot believe that this type of idiocy still exists and that my sad sleep deprived new mother brain allowed it to take place in my house. Dear Fridelis....We are in the midst of a global pandemic being asked observe social distancing and you send a salesperson to people's homes under a false pretense? How do you sleep at night? The sales rep was very nice and this review is not meant to reflect negatively on the guy that's trying to earn a buck... But this company... shame on you. As we moved into our new home. We received a parcel notice, said to call. We called the number and spoke with someone. New local resident? Free home water test? $25 gift card? We realized it was selling water filtration refinement system. The customer service wanted to book a time to have sale specialist to come to our new home on that weekend. Okay, we are home, but we are skeptical what it would turn out.. Pete Cervantes came and arrived on time. Then he saw us moving furniture and stuff into the house. He was great: personal, pleasant, professional and empathy and understood that that was not a right time to talk about the system. We re-scheduled a time month after, thus we can settle in our new house and sit down and talked about the system. He came again on time as we scheduled, he explained in details about the system, test the water and showed us the result, we was so surprise how dirty of our city's water is, we was horrified, and shocked how much water that we and our pets already drank. Pete was never any "sales pitch". We were never "sold" on anything. A clear water was something my family had discussed long ago. Like, ".. when we buy our new home ... and we would like to have a tankless water heater, and a water softener, and a .."; you get the idea. It made sense why our skin was SO DRY after the first shower in our house. Pete and us turned the conversation towards questions of "what is the process?" and "what else do we need to know?" Pete answered everything. And Pete wanted to know our need and he was a good listener, and wanted to build a rapport with us, not just sell the system. As well Pete let us felt he care about our quality of life, including financial options. Pete set up a time for installation. And David (technician) was also very professional and careful installed the equipment and explain to us what we need to know. No mess, and he had moved everything back where it belonged and cleaned everything up. Pete returned as per our requested in the following week to go over financial paper and retest the water and showed us the different the system change the quality of water and check the installation. From start to finish, working with Fidelis has been a great experience. We would like to give a big shut out to Pete and David, especially, 110% thanks to both, as they were the ones to represent the company. Sure, it was a lot of money for us to commit at once. But, it is worthy to do so. We had (still have) a lot of projects we want to do to our new home. We would never have thought to address the water quality at that time if it weren't for Fidelis' lucky parcel notice and Pete knowledge on the system.. we are so glad to meet Pete and David for their wonderful work especially to Pete for him to willing to go extra miles to make sure we understand how to use the system and care our living. Horrible experience. Salesman was rude that we weren't ready to sign the dotted line for $7990 right off the bat. He began ignoring us and gave extremely negative vibes to us IN OUR HOME. Wife began to not feel safe. Whole presentation from this company reeling you in w the "final notice" to the service was extremely unappreciated, Unwelcomed, and bad business. We were actually considering them, and after the bad energy, we definitely decided not to go through with it or even consider it. In fact, we decided to give this review and not recommend them. This sounds like a total SCAM, and my SCAMMY radar went off the whole time. Just look at the business marketing model they use... you get a misleading pink card in the mail which reads "Final Notice" and "Notice of Parcel on Hold," so I'm thinking I have a package waiting for me. I give the number a call and the lady tells me I have a free complimentary gift as a welcome to my new neighborhood. They want to give my wife and I either a free meal or free movie tickets. Lol what bullshit! There's no "parcel on hold," and this wasn't a "final notice." (There was never a first or second notice to begin with.) So the lady on the phone says along with the free dinner or movie, they want to test my water. I say "ok c'mon over." So we schedule an appointment on a Sunday morning. I miss the appointment time because the movers were late getting to my previous residence, so we reschedule an hour later. I'm late again, but this time only by 15min. I'm driving to our new home and thinking what a crock of bull this water evaluation is. I get to our place and this guy shows up- he was waiting for us around the corner the whole time. Now, what legitimate service company comes over on a Sunday morning, has time to reschedule an hour later, AND has time to sit around?He walks up to us and Starr's talking BS about hard water and chlorine. I start looking up his company right in front of him and I immediately see low reviews calling out this whole SCAM. I say "Where's my free dinner" and he doesn't have it. I compare this company's marketing ploy to when I answered an unknown caller, saying they kidnapped my child and were going to cut her fingers off unless I paid them. It is still the same kind of "marketing" to get money/business. Instead of responding "we should change our marketing", he says we should still give him a try. Maybe I would have if the marketing has been honest. So this is the company associated with those "parcel pick up" cards we keep getting. I toss those fake cards and now know they are related to various company marketing ploys. Well, today I got postcard from "amazon". Thought it was a typical welcome to the neighborhood type of gift like all the other %off cards we have received from various businesses. But in teenie, tiny print you see Fidelis Elite Systems. When I called and provided the reservation number, that triggered the rep to tell me about Fidelis. This is a bait and switch. Any company that uses this technique does not deserve my business. If they sent a Fidelis card, offering an amazon card if I called, that would be totally different. Misleading advertising is bad customer service in my book. So you caught my attention with the ad I've attached. I'd be interested if I had any money left after the move, but a basic water filter will have to do for now. I'm leaving this review to add to the other's that are commenting on your marketing strategies. I approve of this one. I feel like it catches your attention without being misleading or predatory and I also like that your company name is directly at the top. You can figure out pretty quickly that it's an ad, without it feeling misleading or like a scam. However, after reading the reviews of some of the other marketing tactics, I heavily advise not to make your ads look like a parcel pickup or anything similar. That just makes what would've been potential customers, have an immediate negative opinion of your business. Word of mouth spreads pretty quickly. Alwi provided the best customer service when working with Fidelis to set up our home with better water quality. Even thou it was late, Alwi took the time to explain the different aspects of the product and answered all of our questions. Since this is an investment and is on the expensive end, we wanted to make sure that we did our due diligence in research. During the first visit, Alwi scheduled our installment, but said that we could still sleep on it and if we changed our mind to let him know. A couple of days later we had a representative from Ecosystems (the product advertised by Costco) do a similar presentation of their product in our home. Presentations covered similar items, conducted similar tests, and he also explained the different products they offered. Ultimately, we found that Fidelis' five filter system was superior to the three filter system. At this point it seemed like the Costco system was "cheaper" than the Fidelis system. That night, we contacted Alwi to ask him all of our remaining questions. We were transparent and let him know that we had met with a different company. He didn't try to sell us, but rather provided all of the facts that we needed to feel comfortable with our purchase. He made it so that we could compare apples to apples and it Fidelis came out cheaper over a five year period. Since this is a lifetime investment, we decided that Fidelis was the right fit for our family. After installment, Alwi has followed up with us and came back to make sure that everything was set up properly. He retested the water to make sure that the system was working for us. We are very happy. It's only been a few days and we can tell the difference in the water. The customer service provided, as well as the 5-year cost to ownership of the system made our decision easy at the end. We feel confident that we made the best decision for our family. read more

A representative came to our house and did a water quality test. I was impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the representative. He show us how much we could save throughout the program they offered. I knew that we had hard water and I was not happy with the chlorine content in our tap water. I previously used carbon filters attached to our shower heads and had a Brita pitcher in the fridge. I was not happy with replacing the filters in the bathroom and I didn't like how they looked. I thought that a system would make it easier and that I would not have to worry about buying bottled water and so forth. The installation was fine. Ultimately I'm happy because the water is better throughout my house. My house is old and in need of remodeling so this was my first step. Bought a house and keep getting spammed with "Amazon gift card" notices from this company.

I received a "Starbucks" mailer offering me a $25 gift card. I called the number, and instead of Starbucks customer service, the number was for a company called Fidelis Elite Systems. The rep said that someone was going to come test my water and then I'd get the gift card. Normally I would never set an appointment for anything I didn't initiate, but I needed my water tested for a water purification system anyway, I just hadn't done it yet. What I wanted was an understanding of my water and an estimate. What I got was a whole 2 hour "sales" presentation of my water quality vs. bottled water by a salesman named Mario. I naively had no idea this was going to be a sales presentation. I actually really enjoyed it. So much so that I almost bought the very pricey system. What Mario showed me is that I really do need this system. I usually hate salesmen when I didn't initiate it, like a door-to-door salesmen, but I enjoyed learning from Mario very much. I actually loved his presentation and his easy going style, so I wanted to write a review about him specifically. If my husband and I were in a different position financially, I would have DEFINATELY bought this system from him. Don't be mad at the cards. Sometimes you need a hook to be baited into getting the very thing you really need but don't even know how much you need it. The company loses a star because they expect you to make a $8-10K decision on the fly. If you don't buy it right then on the spot, the price goes up SIGNIFICANTLY. This is just too large and pricey a purchase to expect someone to make on the fly based on a misleading postcard mailer. But Mario (and my terrible water quality) almost made me get the system right then. But we just weren't in a position to do it, so I had to part with Mario empty handed. Fidelis elite systems made my water less hard and cleared out all the calcium in the pipes that was from the hard water. Scott Gately showed us the common knowledge things that most people don't know about water and showed us how hard our water was. After the system was installed the water taste is super clean the way the water feels better and smells better. I've noticed a difference in our shower because I don't have any more hard water spots in it. On top of everything the soap the company provides is amazing. The system is very low maintenance and me and my family definitely have noticed a difference in the water taste. Had an amazing and interesting talk with BELMIN one of the sales reps for Fidelis he showed me how dirty the water was and taught me and my wife what to look for when purchasing water bottles and basic knowledge about water which who the hell thought there's things to kno about water right? Lol they came in that same dad and within an hr a worker named EVERARDO had us Drinkin water that wasn't up in the 450 range (500 is legal which is F****** crazy right?).......forward a week my pipe is leaking due to corrosion I don't know and plumbers in the area since we just moved in I called fidelis and they sent me a gentleman by the name of BYRON super nice guy he went above and beyond for us he dug it all out and put a new pipe free of charge! Wish I can give 10 stars. I had my water system for many years now. My Daughters and wife love the way the water fells in the skin, and lives it soft and bright. Their long hair is bright and manageable. We all used to have dry skin, but no more. I like to see my fixtures free of water spots and have no calcium built up. I remodeled my entire house a few years ago and all fixtures and shower heads still look brand new. The pure drinking water is awesome. No more bottle water anymore. I Don't replace my fridge filter no more, because I have pure water out of it. Even better, when they came to do the water test demo at my house, they have me a welcome gift package just for coming in to do that water test demo. read more

I've had the soft water system (over paid) and RO system for a few years now. Haven't had a issue yet except with the RO system they put in. The replacement filters are $150 and the housing for the RO system they provided is designed to only work with their filters **(the filter is in it's own unique canister)**. There is literally no other source to buy their filters other than through their offices. Other RO system replacement filters range from $50-$100 for a complete 5 stage. I suggest avoid getting their RO system at all cost, You can literally replace the Filter housings + Filters with another brand for less than the cost of pure advantage fidelis/aqua pro replacement filters. read more

When i purchased my home it came with a water softener and an RO unit not my purchase. To keep the warranty up i had a service person come to replace the filters and check to make sure the equipment was working properly. Cost just under$300 The guy arrived and replaced 4 of the 5 filters on the reverse osmosis. I asked about the main filter and he said " you don't want to replace that one until it is shot, it cost $500) i called the company and yup $500. So i got the model and serial # off the $500 main filter and hmm exact match on amazon $39.00 wow. Can you say rip off. In addition the guy never checked the water quality, he did not flush any lines. All my $300 service got me was the replacement of the 4 filters a 3 min job that i did the year prior myself. Then he did a 2 second visual of my water softener which consisted of lifting the lid of the salt tank. Long story short get your filters off amazon if they have your model or better yet don't buy a RO unit that cost half the price of the unit every year to replace the filters. read more

First off, it's very annoying to me that the way this company got me to call is by putting a "Final Notice if parcel on hold" in my mailbox! Very unprofessional and I for one do not appreciate being misled. We made the appointment for 4:30pm and nobody showed up until 5:55pm, we told him we think we would like to reschedule, as I get up early in the morning for work and we were just about to eat dinner. He insists on doing his presentation and assures us it will be worth our "little bit" of time. Okay fine.. TWO HOURS!!! Two hours of asking us rhetorical questions and testing a bunch of different cups with different chemicals followed by trying to pressure us into signing up that night because the promotion supposedly ended at midnight. The installation performed by Carlos Tovar was great and quick. Our entire house is now free of water spots and calcium build up. No more stain in my glass shower door. Our skin is softer and dry no more. I can wash my treated hair everyday with clean water and Chlorine free. This is a product that everyone needs in their house. We absolutely love our Fidelis Elite System!!! It has been about a month since install and I'm so glad that we chose Fidelis to go through. Our representative Juan Carlos was amazing! He answered all of my and my husband's questions and was very informative on the system that we wanted! The system has made such a difference in our family life and it's only been a month. We have 4 children and it's nice not to have 1/2 drunken water bottles all around the house! I can honestly taste the difference when I drink water from some where else now.
