My favorite coffee place in town. Whenever I go for coffee it's usually between here and avenue. I especially like this location because of the building. It's s huge space with plenty of room. They gave couches and a fire place for relaxing and socializing. They also have tables and chairs downstairs and upstairs if you need to work on anything, plus free WiFi. read more

Cashier wasn't wearing a mask or face shield. Customers weren't wearing masks and were hanging out inside. Food is setting out in the open air for everyone to breathe on. Even if you're ordering via drive thru you're getting your cups/drinks/croissants/etc from an open air area unmasked people have been breathing all over. Unacceptable. read more

Super Quaint Place - I loved the atmosphere. You have some comfy chairs next to a fireplace on a rainy day - what else do you want? I got the Macadamia Coconut Mocha and it was so so so good. My friend got just a mocha and he said it was good too (hush, mine was better). You could really taste the coconut in the aftertaste, made the mocha so much better! This is a hidden treasure placed conveniently right off the highway. If the cute exterior isn't enough of an appeal, the warm baristas will make you want to stay here all day. As I walked in everyone looked me in the eye with a smile. Even the 'regulars' were kind to me as an obvious out-of-towner. Although the workers were busy they still did their best to chat with waiting customers to prevent that awkward waiting time. After I bought my coffee and walked upstairs to sit and look over the beautiful wood railing the barista brought a NEW coffee up for me--explaining she made a new pot and this one would be better. It was above and beyond any service I have seen at a coffee shop in a long time. If your heading North or South on the 5 I would recommend stopping by Fiddlers Coffee for a cup of joe or a tasty treat. Love the story behind this place, the people and service are excellent. It really doesn't get much cooler as far as these things go but I had a mixed experience with the coffee and food. It would be greatly appreciated if the staffed was more well versed in providing functional descriptions and flavor notes on the various beans they use. The descriptions on the bags of coffee were not particularly useful and felt more like fluffy marketing language. I'd like to know where the beans were sourced. Beans from Mexico often have a more chocolate flavor, South American and African beans can have nutty and/or more fruity or acidic notes. Each region and various types of coffee all offer different flavor experiences, especially if and when you start blending them. At the very least, these sort of basic details help customers to better select the coffee they'll order and or bring home. The pastries are amazing. I believe I had a Marionberry Danish it was one of the best I've ever had. Also I had a breakfast sandwich which they get from an outside supplier. It was supposed to be egg, bacon, and cheese on a roll of some kind. Unfortunately, the egg either wasn't real egg or it was some sort of culinary experiment gone wrong. The egg-like substance was was a yellow tinted clear and oily gelatinous substance. The texture and taste were way off. I was unable to finish the sandwich but the wonderful Danish saved my breakfast to go. I would have brought it back but was unable to because I stopped while on a business trip and had to continue. I'd encourage offering a more traditional breakfast sandwich, at least using real eggs and/or having an option for egg whites for more health oriented customers. My latte was mediocre. I had ordered a 2 shot, 16oz vanilla latte and the espresso shots tasted like the barista had not used enough vanilla flavor. This is a common challenge in coffee shops around the country. Many coffee shops use 1oz or less of flavor in their drinks and a 16oz drink usually needs 1.25oz to 1.5oz of flavor syrups to appropriately balance the coffee and flavor. Sometimes coffee shops do this as a cost saving measure while others may not be as aware. If a customer orders a flavored drink it would be beneficial to ensure the recipes allow customers to enjoy those flavors more notably. Fiddlers Coffee shop environment is great. I've stopped here several times while driving between Portland and Seattle. Their seating and layout are very comfortable with quite a bit of space for individuals and community to gather. I love the lofted area. It looks like they may have some music recording space and it would be neat to see live music in action. I hope my one of my trips allows me to stop in and catch music in the making. read more

Gosh dang it this place is too good. Super spacious coffeeshop established by national champion fiddlers (fiddles above fireplace and there is a music room upstairs) that serves italian coffee. I had the toffee nut latte and later on a sugar free caramel iced Americano. It's not too sweet and not too bitter. I also demolished an almond croissant. That was so soft, smooth, and light. A lot of people are here from the new and old generations. Reading books, writing papers, and business meetings. Must stop by and sit or drive through if you must. read more

Wanted to like the coffee due to the other reviews. But the coffee was not that great. I got a soy latte, and my hubby their cinnamon vanilla latte. My coffee tasted like the soy milk was not fresh. Did not taste good at all. All my hubby could taste in his was lot of sugar and cinnamon. Gave two stars as we liked how the place looked. The motif was nice. Best coffee shop in middle of nowhere! I mean in terms of location it's on an exit next to gas station and a Subway, but if you were inside, you wouldn't be able to tell if it was down town. Beautiful interior with a running fireplace and ample wooden seats to bring friends or family. A very friendly lady greeted me and took my order on this rather cold January Sunday morning. A medium cup of dark medium roast and warmed up orange blueberry scone and before I could take a minute to look at the surroundings it was ready to go!! I've given enough chances and waisted enough $$$ they are not open at 6:00 am as advertised and will always be closed before advertised time. This morning was it however, company in town for the 4th. Decided to start the morning with coffee, looked up who would be open, fiddlers. Had hopes the coffee would be better in early am, we went. Nope not open. No idea when, hung out till6:15 still, nope. Used to be great coffee, the past month, month 1/2 has really been bad. Staff is nice but can't make coffee and doesn't always clean coffee press. Gave me some old coffee in front of me last week. Sorry guys, I've been coming since you opened, understand training curves, but not being open and closing early often.and over a month of yuck, repeating orders ( over & over) old coffee etc. my orders have been more wrong than right.
