After ignoring and then telling me I had to wait, for a pup cup no less, she made 3 drinks, chatted with another customer and ghosted me in person. When I talked to the supervisor, I referenced her behavior as bitchlike. The supervisor schooled me on proper words. We ordered a drink and asked for extra Carmel extra crunch and extra mocha topping. We paid and the girl taking the order was perfect. The girl making the order totally messed up our order. No extra anything and she forgot the mocha...... She didn't even know if they changed...? The other girl said she would scrape off the whipping cream and add mocha.... What the heck is this..? I stop at this Starbucks approximately 2x a week and have for the past several years. It is a pretty good Starbucks. The drive thru is pretty quick - inside, not so much. Typically friendly employees but there seems to be a lot of turnover. Clean on the inside and outside. read more

Great customer service and friendly staff. They have a drive through which is nice when you're in a rush. The location was clean and they had a bunch of Polaroid pictures of the dogs that came through, which is a cute idea! Drinks were served with care and the hot drink was handed out in a mug so minimal touching. read more

One of the worst Starbucks I have been to. I only go here when someone else is springing for drinks and they insist on Starbucks. Not friendly, not fast and the staff always seems stressed out. They don't even ask your name when you order so you have to hope no one steals your drinks when they are called out. I have come to this Starbucks for years (used to work in the area and now pass through). This is one of the best Starbucks I've ever been to. The employees are SO KIND and personable. Many times I would come here having a rough moment, and they always managed to cheer me up with their positivity. I miss one of the gals that used to work here -- I think her name was Brittany and she was going to nursing school while working here. I admire the dedication of the employees and have no complaints. The reason why I really wanted to leave a review today was because I was driving up from Vancouver to JBLM for my drill weekend. It was around 7am and I was so tired so I decided to stop for coffee on the way and get a banana too. I believe the employee that was taking my order was named "Chevy" (I was so tired though I may be saying the wrong name and I apologize). She was so chipper and pleasant while taking the order it was making my day, however she didn't stop there. When I pulled up to pay for my order she saw me in my military uniform she said "this one is on me." I was totally taken aback by her generosity and insisted I would pay but she said "no no no my boyfriend serves too." I really REALLY appreciate her for doing this - it made my week. This at this Starbucks location I had to wait 35 minutes for coffee. Apparently there was a shift change, a new employee, and a technical difficulty all at the same time. The drink was too sweet- I ordered a simple refresher, water and flavoring. How can you mess that up? read more

It's been awhile since my return to this Starbucks, I wish I didn't have to leave even one star. The staff is so focused on drive thru and on line orders, they don't even notice the walk in folks. Seriously the place wasn't even busy but they found it easy enough to lose our order, and then we have to tell then not once, not twice, but three times what our order was. Literally 20 minutes went by watching other customers come and go, Still no order, finally a young lady asked if we were still waiting for our order? I was tempted to remark sarcastically, however she was the only one who seem to be genuinely concerned. Therefore better to err on the side of caution, I once again informed her of our order. She made the order 1 tall mocha hot, apologized and with a thank you (because it wasn't her fault) the cashier not following through with printing the label. It just seems this store will never change. A whopping 30 minutes from start to finish for one tall hot mocha. Just put me out of my misery. If I hadn't already paid for this highly hard to make coffee I would have left. read more

This review is just for this location is Chehalis, not for Starbucks as a whole which I often enjoy. I have a real problem with establishments that make up arbitrary rules that make their customer service worse. I was on a business trip, driving from Seattle south to Oregon. I stopped at this location and ordered a coffee via the drive-thru, that went fine, I got my coffee, also fine. When I asked the girl at the window if she could throw away my empty cup from my morning coffee she told me that it was her stores policy that they couldn't do that. When I asked why she said for sanitary reasons. I was flabbergasted since in all my years of using drive-thrus I had never heard such a thing. I asked her what they did if a customer left an empty cup on a table inside and she conceded that they did throw them away. Although I didn't ask, I am sure that they also change the trash, wash dirty dishes, and handle money (which is one of the dirtiest things we touch on a regular basis). This just simply involves washing your hands afterwords. If you are in the service industry, you don't deny simple customer requests. If this is an actual regulation for the city of Chehalis I apologize, but either way I will not be stopping here again. read more

Spent the weekend at the Dog show on May 30th . Went to here twice, both times there was an issue. Saturday at the drive thru, was presented with the wrong drink and the barista told me I ordered it iced, and I said NO, there was an attitude having to remake my drink. I told them no shot glasses, which means to run the shots directly into my cup, so I witnessed the barista making my drink , pour them into a cup them pouring them into my cup, well I guess she did not use shot glasses..lol. Sunday morning, the drive-thru , barista hands me my drink holding the lid , the lid came off, I spilled 1/4 of my drink down my car, on my electric buttons in my car and myself...omg, he handed me one napkin and said I am sorry, he put a new lid on the drink and handed it back to me without remaking my drink... I report this to corporate and was given two free drinks, it was sent to the regional manager and I hope they have taken care of this issue... there clearly needs to be some customer service lessons... read more

Typical dirty tables you usually find at Starbucks. They did come out and clean the tables once while I was there but not the counter which had boot prints on both ends from the painters that had been there the night before. So this was our favorite Starbucks to go to around here. They seem to be the only one to get the drinks right. My husband and I have been getting the same drink since it came out, and when we made the 15 minute drive to get them this morning at 11:30, on September 23rd, the girl at the window said they weren't able to make it iced, just hot. We pulled up to the window and explained we've been getting it daily since it came out and she put her hands up and said she didn't know and that she was new. If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in for the unicorn frappaccino and they were all out despite being available until Sunday's. They then offered to make cotton candy frappaccinos so we decided to get those. They weren't even cotton candy. they just made vanilla bean frappaccinos and called it cotton candy. read more

There are unfortunately a lot of negative reviews of this welcoming little Starbucks, but let me tell you, the service I received today was impeccable. I came in around 6:30PM, it was quiet and the baristas were cleaning various things here and there. Yet as soon as I walked in I was greeted with four happy smiles! Stacy, Hannah, Megan, and Alaina were all incredibly friendly. While I ordered and waited for my drink, (which was delicious, thank you Stacy!), the four were attentive and social, it felt as if we were all friends. I've been to this particular Starbucks throughout many points of the day, and no matter the time on the clock, the service mimics my exact experience tonight. There are comments on here that call out particular baristas from this location, and I must say that my interactions with those employees have been nothing short of exceptional. All of the baristas that work at this Starbucks deserve an award, they have a small store with limited workspace yet still rock it! Been through the drive thru a couple of times and have ordered a few different things. Most of the time been pretty happy but sometimes they dont have what i want or they run out of ingrediants in some of the drinks. Lady never took my name for my order. We waited at a table for them to atleast call our drinks. She then yelled at us from the back saying your food and drinks are laying down there. Manager (?) stood off to side with 2 other employees laughing while I waited at the counter for the 4th employee to finish stocking cups. Was finally helped. The girl who helped me apologized for the wait and said she was new. I didn't get my breakfast sandwich that was ordered so the girl that took my order said she would prepare it at no cost for the inconvenience and wait time.
