I ate here with a friend a few weeks ago for lunch. The food and service were very good, I loved the decor - everything looks fresh and clean-just like the pictures displayed on the Yelp page. There were a couple of fun pictures of chickens. There is an outside eating area and drive thru. The prices seemed more than fair. My friend had a large beef club and I had a tuna melt. Instead of fries I had the macaroni salad. It was very tasty - definitely homemade. Also, there are cheesecakes for dessert. The outside picture doesn't do this place justice.

My husband picked up dinner tonight which was awful. The place has newer owners who have put a…read moresignificant amount of money in upgrades to the exterior but sadly seem to have no sense of how to select quality food or handle customer service. The food is terrible - the turkey dinner was cold cuts and the saltiest turkey I'd ever tasted. I had one bite. The mashed potatoes/gravy were decent but they took no time to cut out the bad spots in the potato. I found two black chunks in the small part I ate. The mac salad was oddly greasy (like they added oil to the mayo) and has a weird taste, and the coleslaw was boughten and tasted like preservatives. My husband said nobody was in the place and staff was not friendly. The previous staff was so friendly and the place was always full. They offered no specials and the food was overpriced. The staff person volunteered that it had been "quiet" for a couple of weeks and my husband shared that people can't afford their prices." The staff person then offered that "they provide big portions!" That logic doesn't get people in the door! Sad to see a business fail but this one is on its way out fast.

Brittany's is a small town diner inside the village of Ephratah's only "store". The menu offers sandwiches, burgers, subs, mealtloaf dinners, lasagna and all types of breakfast food. Anytime I have sat down at Brittany's- I can see her busting ass in the kitchen slinging the hash and smiling as she catches the eye of diners and greets them. Brittany's dad, Kevin is usually here as well helping out anyway he can and keeping things going... Another friendly face. I just love this small town joint! Waitresses are always helpful and friendly. Both 1/2 lb. and 1/4 lb. burgers are on the menu which is an option I really appreciate. If you order one.. expect it to be served as ordered and with your choice of crinkle fries or curly. Gravy is extra.. but worth it. Homemade gravy should never be passed up. The breakfasts are solid, blueberry or chocolate chip platter size pancakes served with REAL maple syrup! The corned beef hash egg scramble smothered with cheese is my favorite and when accompanied with garlic home fries... Pure Nirvana my friends!!!! BTW breakfast is served all day! If you ever find yourself hungry and near Ephratah NY I encourage you to stop by Brittany's, you'll be glad you did!

It wasn't too busy when we arrived in middle of the afternoon, and we were warmly greeted. You place your order at the counter and then seat yourself. Water and cups are out too. I went with the Pad Thai ($27 with chicken) and also got to try some of the fried chicken ($17), a special. Prices seemed a little high but the dishes were delicious, with portions being reasonable and the Pad Thai not being overwhelmingly sweet. The fried chicken was magically crunchy outside and moist inside, with an irresistible dipping sauce not too cilantro-y. The Windham Local has a parking lot off to the side, but there was ample street parking too. And a shop proprietor later told us that The Windham Local is her place to eat in town!

Coffees were delicious and strong and the breakfast burrito was truly the best breakfast burrito I think I've ever had. The space is so cute. I read on their website while planning the weekend that they are open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and have live music on the weekends. It looks like they do it all. We stopped in early and had our choice of tables. The space is big, clean and perfectly calm. Great spot for a slow breakfast. After ordering at the counter, they brought everything over to our table. I got the oatmeal bowl. Delicious and simple. However, I couldn't help but steal many many bites of the breakfast burrito. Seriously, get it! A great spot with good food, a friendly team and a cozy vibe.

Formerly Honey Girls, Keep Right Cafe is named after the famous Canajoharie "dummy" traffic light with "Keep Right" painted on the base, which was located around the corner at the Church & Mohawk intersection several years ago. There are plans to have the "dummy" traffic light restored and returned to its original location soon. The cafe has a very welcoming and homey atmosphere with decorative floral pattern covered chairs at the tables, counter seating and 2 soft black chairs with coffee table near the flatscreen TV. For food, they offer all-day breakfast bowls & paninis, frittot, overnight oats, Greek yogurt parfaits & bowls, paninis, grain bowls, salads, broths, energy balls, and waffle balls. For drinks, they have organic coffee & tea, smoothies, and Italian sodas. The prices seem pretty reasonable. They also sell gifts including Keep Right Cafe apparel. I stopped by Keep Right Cafe for takeout recently. I was greeted as I walked in. I ordered a Chicken Caprese Panini ($8.50 plus tax) and Waffle Balls ($6.50 plus tax), which was ready to go in 10 minutes. The hot pressed panini had tender pieces of chicken breast, roasted red pepper, pesto, melted mozzarella, balsamic glaze, olive oil between warm chewy bread. The waffle balls (7 balls on a wood skewer) were served very hot covered with cinnamon sugar & powdered sugar and maple syrup for dipping. Both the chicken caprese panini and waffle balls were outstanding! I would definitely stop back in here if I'm in the area. Hopefully, the "dummy" traffic light in Canjo will be reality again soon.
