I'm not sure what this business has bad reviews but all of those are old reviews that probably still hurt this small business a lot. So give them a chance and see how great they are for yourself. Service is fast and this business seems customer-focused and professional. The major (significant) issue I had is the process they use for drycleaning/ pressing men's suits is disastrous. The level of heat applied destroys the fabric leaving high quality suits noticeably shiny and brittle. I have ceased taking suits in for cleaning and instead home dry-clean/ steam to refresh while preserving some of the most important and expensive clothing I own. read more

Don't get your pants hemmed here. Pant legs have mismatched lengths. They won't fix it unless they are paid again.

They charged quite a hefty price for a simple alteration on a dress of mine (could've easily been done if I had a sewing machine of my own). The lady that altered my dress said alteration would cost $20 at the cash register and a different lady at the register charged me $30 for it. A little sketchy. Even though I have not received the finishing product of my alteration, I find their prices for alterations outrageously high along with their shady charges. Don't bother bringing your alterations here - take it to Fair Lakes Cleaners. They're far more friendlier there and especially offer more reasonable prices on alterations (they charged me less than $45 to hem a 3-piece traditional Bavarian dirndl). read more

I got a dress altered here and they did a phenomenal job--I even needed rush delivery and they were able to take in a dress in under a day with a reasonable ($20?) surcharge. Everyone there is very professional and I've never had any issues for anything else (I've had dry cleaning and laundry done at Festival too), but I'd especially recommend going for alterations. read more

This place is the most expensive dry cleaners I've ever gone to in my life!!!!!!! They charge $5.60 to dry clean a pair of pants! WTF. And they tried to charge me n additional $1 on top for a 'spot' clean. What the hell is a spot clean. I had pointed out an area I wanted them to focus on & they charged me an extra $1. When I complained the Asian lady started laughing. There is a cleaners down the street that charges $2.95 for a pair of pants. I'll never go to this place again. Festival Cleaners is across the street from where I live so typically go here for the convenience. My boyfriend takes his work clothes to get cleaned here, so when I wanted to get something dry cleaned- I thought the cost would be fairly reasonable. UMM NO. They charged me $10 to clean a basic romper. Really? On another occasion, I was in urgent need to get a dress altered for a black tie event, and the ladies who work in the dry cleaners area charged me $40..not bad, given that Lord & Taylor gave me an estimate of $100. Now I'm on the fence with them..3rd visit, I needed a pair of slacks hemmed- the women looked over at the lady who does the alterations..they mumble something in Korean, and she says, "$30". Really? I feel as though they are not fair and their prices vary depending on who is charging me. I will no longer come here. read more

Staff is friendly and helpful! Took 5 dress shirts 2 pants and a jacket in total was about $25, might not be as cheap as some other dry cleaners but the extra dollar or so is worth it for the service you get. When i picked up my dry cleaning the staff found my clothes and asked me how they looked, handled them to me quickly with a smile so that I could go with on my day without having to wait 5 minutes for my laundry. read more

I will never come here again!!! Firstly, I have had these shirts pressed other places (so I know they aren't special ironed shirts/blouses) but Festival Cleaners was closer towards where I needed to go by. Found out they are a complete rip off. So drop off two ordinary cotton/poly dress shirts off to be just ironed ($3.40 for both shirts) Sat 8/21/2013. Sarah, the clerk checked my mom out. I pick my shirt up Thursday 9/26/2013, which was a few days after it was due to be ready. I was given a Monday 9/23/2013 pick-up. When I picked up my shirt I get quite a surprise. My total is $8.90. I ask what the heck, my receipt says $3.40. Ironically, Sarah again who rang these shirts up originally tells me "Oh, women's shirt, more." First of all who pays $8.90 for a simple ironing of two shirts. My shirt is no different then a man's shirt. I understand if it was silk or some type of delicate type of material. It looks exactly like a man's dress shirt. Second of all, she knew right then when I picked up the shirt that something was wrong (e.g. that they changed the price of the shirt after the drop off). If you knew when you were about to press the shirt that this should have been charged more, then you had the number. Why did you not call and give me the option? Why did I have to get surprised when I picked up my shirts. And thirdly, even if you didn't want to call. YOU MADE THE MISTAKE. I should not have to pay more for your incompetency. You saw the shirts and saw it was a woman's shirt when it was dropped off. Why didn't I argue more at the counter? And why fuss over $5.50? Because she was holding my dress shirts I needed for meetings in her hands (shirts being held hostage) and I generally hate conflict but I want other customers to know that they cheat their customers. And ultimately money doesn't grow on trees. We all work hard to earn a living and it isn't right to tell a customer one price (with proof of receipt) and later told "sorry, wrong price" and change it at a whim. I understand the customer is not always right but seriously completely unprofessional and wrong. They should have taken the hit off their mistake. Period, end of story. Long story short, I will not be sending my shirts here anymore. read more

I've been going here for a few years. Honestly I'm surprised to see some of the bad reviews. Their pricing on shirts is really really good. They are always quick and friendly, no extra charge to get it same day if you get it in by 10am. They've done some minor alterations for me, and even stayed open late for me one time when I was in a bind and stuck in traffic (granted I had offered to tip $20 if they waited 30 min for me). They have a sense of urgency there so that there are basically never any lines. I've never had problems with quality here. I've been to a few other cleaners in the area before I found these guys, and honestly I've had only good experiences. read more

recently started using them and the difference is light and day. They are very professional and courteeous. Even though they are slightly pricy but the service is well worth it. They also have the same day servive, in fact I had to go to meeting and they did the job in 4 hours, I was impressed. I also gave them my suit with some beading and embroidery on it and they were able to dry clean it without breakign the beads or fraying the threads. I would rate this cleaners negative if I could. My wife dropped off all my work shirts over a month ago. One of my brand new shirts that had not been worn yet came back with large grease stains. I could only guess the stains were from the belt system they keep the clothes on. When she pointed the stains out they offered to clean the shirt again for free. When she returned to pick up the shirt the stains were still there. They said they would try to fix it again, on return the stains were still there. She asked them to provide compensation for the shirt and they asked her to leave and they no longer need her business. As a service company this is a poor way to run the business. I hope everyone avoids this cleaners. read more

Went there a few times. Staff seemed friendly. First time, to dry clean a T-shirt costed me $5.00! (the price of T-shirt was probably $10.00). Second time I brought a sweater (it had a little spot that needed to be cleaned). I was charged $6.00 (compere to T-shirt, that was a much bigger piece...). When I picked up my sweater and went home, I found out that the spot was still there. I took it back for redo. They did accept it, however when I got it back, it looked like they actually washed my sweater instead of dry cleaning it, it had pills all over... It was a 2-week old sweater and now it's ruined. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I have been bringing in clothes on a weekly basis for a few years now, so when my most recent order had a stain on the front of a shirt, I didn't expect there to be any problem with the store taking it back to fix it. I was told that the stain was there before and was a grease/food stain that they could not remove. I explained that the stain was not there before. Even though the shirt was crisp and obviously had not been worn, I was given a hard time about the tag not being there (my husband removed it and then noticed the stain on the front of the shirt while still on the wire hanger). I was told that they would do the huge favor of taking the shirt to fix it, but that "next time there will be a charge." After going somewhere for years why would I try to make up an issue to have a $2.00 cleaning fixed? There won't be a next time because once I pick up the shirt I won't be going back. read more
