Do not go here -- price gouging…read more I originally considered bringing my FIAT here because my sister had service done, but after looking into pricing I realized how overpriced it is compared to other FIAT service centers, especially Glendale. I was quoted significantly higher pricing for a basic synthetic oil change and tire rotation. When I asked about the difference, I was told "those are the prices" without any real explanation or effort to clarify. It felt dismissive and unhelpful. On top of that, the communication from the service advisor was not professional and the call ended abruptly while I was still trying to get answers. Because of this experience, I will be taking my business to Glendale moving forward. I would strongly recommend others compare pricing before coming here.

Based on good reviews and pleasant conversations with Domenic, I purchased a 1981 Fiat Spider 2000…read moreTurbo from Calabasas Luxury Motorcars sight unseen except for pictures. Domenic said that both he and his mechanic had driven the car and that everything was going okay with the car. When the car arrived, it was a different story. Please see the following. Hello Domenic, I finally picked up the car from the shop on June 17th. It took some time for the shop to have a trusted vendor fabricate a stainless steel header to fit the engine and the turbo. There are no original exhaust manifolds available for a turbo Spider since the company that modified the car in 1981 (Legend Industries) has been out of business for quite a while. There were only about 700 Spiders that got the Legend Turbo modification and not many of them are around any more, so parts for the turbo are non-existent. The header itself was $1,300.00. Along with other ancillary parts and labor, the total cost for that was $2,692.77. Attached are a couple of photos showing the cracked manifold. Another attached photo shows the split heater hose. When I first ran the car up to operating temperature, the coolant was spraying from this hose and there was so much steam coming from under the hood, I at first thought the car was overheating. Fortunately, it was not and the steam was from the coolant spraying on the hot engine. That repair with parts and labor was $139.59. The rear brake calipers were incorrect. The anti rattle springs were incorrectly installed. Parts and labor to replace the calipers was $1,014.71. It was quite evident that when the ignition key was on (whether the car was started or not) the fuel pump was constantly running. Parts and labor to replace the fuel pump relay and repair the wiring totaled $424.17. There were several other issues that needed attention. I understand that it is a 40 year old car and I would expect to find some issues. It was disappointing however that, for instance, you didn't let me know that the radio and speakers were not operable. No big deal. The total charge for parts and labor for the other issues was $1,837.00 which included the stereo, some badging, A/C service, coolant sensor, door guides, windshield washer nozzles and washer hose, and inoperative fog lamp switch. These are issues that might be expected to arise in an older car. $3,847.07 was for issues that you would have easily been aware of if anyone had just started the car and not even driven it. These issues were immediately evident as soon as the car came off the transporter. The failure of the emergency brake was noticed as soon as it came down the ramp and the noise from the engine was so loud that it was clearly evident that the exhaust manifold was cracked. Following is one of our communications: Ed thank you for your response and for the Drivers license photo it's our pleasure to work with you all clients are important to us and we do appreciate your business I'll have our technician go over the vehicle tomorrow also i will send you additional photos Regards Domenic On Wed, Jan 6, 2021 at 6:53 PM holdened@gmail.com wrote: Hi Domenic, Please see the attached. Please let me know if there are any issues you would want to know about if you were the purchaser. I fully understand that a 40 year old car would not be like new from the factory but I would rather not be surprised. You indicated that you had driven the car yourself and that your service technician had gone over the car and that "everything's going okay with the car". By the way, I never did get the additional photos you said you would send. You also said you would let me know what the service technician found and what work he did. I never got that information as well. You have said that "all clients are important to us". I hope that is true.

A month goes by, no plates. 2 months, no plates. 3 months, no plates. We had a windy spell and the paper plate tore in half and my wife got pulled over for it, and a ticket for not having permanent plates. During this time I tried texting the salesperson, emailing the salesperson, calling the salesperson... no response. Tried contacting the dealership through their contact form on their website, no response. Called the DMV and they had no record of plates being ordered for the car, and said the plates should have been on it when it was bought so I had to order new plates, which now don't match what's on the title. 2. I noticed the front didn't have a plate bracket on it and when I asked about it the salesperson said "LA county doesn't require front plates on EV's." Which I thought was wrong and I checked when I got home and yeah, he was wrong. All passenger vehicles operating in the entire state of CA require front plates. 3. The charging connecter was broken. The nub that clamps down to secure the connection to the car. Not a huge deal, it still charges fine, but still. 4. Not a big deal but was promised one of those leather key fob covers. The salesperson said he'd call when he got it. Never called. This salesperson clearly was just after the sale and once it was done, wiped his hands of it. Got an OK deal on the car (1 star) and the service people seem ok to deal with so far (2nd star). Those are the only positive things I can say about this place. The post-sale experience with the salesperson (ie: non existent) and the communication with the location in general were frustrating and make me sigh in annoyance when I have to take the car for service. Luckily the service department is a better experience.
