Since my long time Mercedes repair shop burn to the ground last year I was searching for a new shop to service my cars, GLS 550 and a SL550. I heard a radio ad and checked the reviews. I've Since had my GLS550 serviced several times. Omar works on my car and he's become very familiar with it. He recommended I change the top radiator hose as it has residue around the nozzle, so it was replaced. A few days later I was still leaking coolant. I returned to Monico and Omar discovered my lower coolant hose was leaking. The service rep Bassem only charged me for the part and threw in a new cap! Bassem offered to rent a car at no expense since all the loaner cars were taken! This is five star service 360! Oh I almost forgot they offered to pressure wash the engine but I opted to have it done on my next service. At Monaco Motors, these guys really go above and beyond to make sure you AND your car get the best service! Ian (my service advisor), Omar (my mechanic), and Jose (the groundskeeper) really did A+ service for me!! After receiving a random postcard on my windshield about their special promos, I decided why the hell not? Instead of taking my Benz to the Benz dealership where I typically need to pay an arm and leg for a basic oil change. Monaco charged me $130 for oil change which included topping off all my fluids, checking tire pressure, and interior vacuum service in exchange for a solid review that is highly deserved! At the end, I had to pay little bit extra because my engine required an extra quart of oil and a filter needed to be changed. Best of all, they were able to reset all my maintenance lights -- which not all auto service shops can do! But since Monaco Motors has extensive experience surrounding the treatment of European luxury vehicles, they really are experts in this field. While waiting for your car, there is a waiting room with TV, water service, coffee and WiFi. Thank you Ian, Omar and Jose for taking care of Midnight and giving her the best service she deserves! I brought my Mercedes in because my engine light was on and I couldn't pass the smog test for car registration. They had my car for a week. They did not offer me a loaner which I always got at the dealer. After a week and $4000 dollars later my check engine light was still on. They then told me it was the timing belt and it would be another $5000. That is higher than the dealers charge. The dealer gives me a brand new Mercedes loaner and they wash my car inside and out. I was told by the guy who recommended Monaco that they were a lot cheaper than the dealer, I did not find that to be the case at all. They were somewhat friendly, Bashin was nice and explained what they were doing, even though $4000 seemed a lot for what was done. The other guy behind the desk was very condescending and not welcoming at all. Bottom line $4000 dollars later, I still had the check engine light on. I found many other places that were much cheaper and still used Mercedes Benz parts, even the dealer was cheaper. read more

I bought my 1998 Mercedes 230 brand new 28 years ago this week. I love my car. I've saved over 200,000 in car payments over 24 years. The reason? Monaco motors. I'm now retired. I was quoted close to $900 for some maintenance needed on my car and one night one of their Mechanics, named Jose, told me about this company and how they can provide any service for German made cars and they're an Audi specialized company and so I decided to come and try them out. It was a great experience from the call to get an appointment - which I was told to just come on in to get an estimate - to dropping off the car and then coming to pick it up. Shoutout to Eddie at the front. Not only did he have the knowledge to know exactly what I needed for the car but he kept me in the know and walked me through the drop off to when I can expect a call to come pick it up. They offered me a loaner since I had to work and made the whole experience incredible. They're very affordable and this being my first time, I expected cheaper, but large prices and it was a great price for what I needed and it was very affordable. Eddie truly made the experience memorable from start to finish. He really understands the customer need and makes the experience personal and special. All around, great experience from the first intro with Jose to the call with (I think his name was Jay) and then scheduling and working with Eddie. A great Team, a great Company. I took my 2013 M5 to this dealership. I would not recommend them with a 10 foot poll. Not only did i get swindled, i got taken for a ride . The ran the final tally up to 3k and still did not fix the problem. I then took my car to the dealership, all that was needed was new sparks. I previously rated this business with 5 stars , as they offered a spark plug change package for nearly a quarter of the price at most other places. I also got an oil change. They did the work in Dec 2023. The good: They are exceptionally friendly and polite. They also offer free loaner vehicles while they do the work. The bad: Which is why I feel completely to adjust my rating: You are better off going to your car's dealership to get full price jammed up...there is little difference. I recently (start of April 2024) contacted the business about if they would install a stint kit for a coolant leak. They told me to bring it in to inspect, but they see this issue all the time and have their own workaround kit, which does not require removal of the intake manifold. Before agreeing to do so, I asked the charge for them to look at it. They told me no charge. I bring it in, they wouldn't look at it without a test that cost $165. Then, after hours, I am told it is 1 thing, which DOES require the manifold removal, & would cost an extra $1,600! There were other advisements they also suggested, that would take the repair total to over 2k. They refused to do part of the work or any workaround for the extras for less than full price. I chose to get the basic work done & paid up front. They were hesitant to let me pay up front because they knew they were gonna find more issues & of course they did! I wasn't happy, but didn't feel robbed, just confused that the thing they said it was, was now only part of the problem and they refused to work with me about any kind of adjustments (like adding a sealant for a fee) to get me by until I could afford to get more work done. Until when I picked up the car and reviewed the previous ppwk when I got the spark plugs changed...EVERY suggestion they had for other things to be addressed were all listed as critical and urgent. But since I had that work done in Dec 2023, only one of those 5 "urgent" matters was an issue listed today! After this last experience (ended on April 9) I get a letter in the mail from them sent on April 17, of even more issues that were never mentioned during the full week they had my car or returned it to me....a nail in the tire and a control arm bushing issue! Again, listed as crucial fixes...Why wait a week later to even tell me & then do so by trying to pair it with an oil change service (which is not due for almost another 10k miles)??? This is when I full saw the ski masks these guys were wearing behind the very pleasant smiles. I believe they did the work, but it's impossible that every tiny thing on a used car is crucial to get fixed for safety...(wiper blades, pressure washing the undercarriage, etc) but they will rate it as such and best believe they are charging full price...bur not up front. They do good work, but I will stick to working with the local BMW dealer if I am still paying full and possibly over price. read more

I was having some issues with my Mini and I didn't know where to go. I was out shopping one day, and came back to find a Monaco Motors card on my windshield. I'm usually annoyed by stuff like that but was happy that I didn't have to search for a Mini mechanic! I took it in to Rosty and he was so nice!
