Fernando's is the BEST Smog Check Shop I have ever used. Fernando's is a one-person shop with... you guessed it, Fernando, as the owner. From the very beginning when I called for an appointment, I could tell Fernando cared about his customers. I was able to make an appointment for the same day I called. When I arrived at Fernando's he immediately stopped what he was doing to greet me. I had a seat in his waiting area while he finished up with the car he was working on. He then promptly started the smog check on my car a few minutes early. While I was waiting another customer arrived and he greeted her just as he had greeted me. The smog check on my car passed and the paperwork and payment went smoothly. Fernando's prices are reasonable and fair. I asked Fernando about working on a classic car I owned. Fernando is amazing and honest which is so important in a mechanic. My daughter is an out of state student at UCSB and had her car making a terrible noise.
