    The whole crew and experience was really old school Americana pride in your work and care for the client. Well done and SB County is really blessed to have them! I was getting ready to drive to Nashville and I started having weird electrical issues and Edgar and Dannon were so hospitable! Dannon went over my whole battery replacement and oil change line by line with diagnostics and pictures. I came in same day and left same day - I've never! You you can tell that they really enjoy what they do and are incredibly honest. Feel comfortable to take care of any vehicle of any sort here! I have a Honda pilot 2017 that is my baby and I am so grateful that she is up and running again! Update: Talk about old school client care, and then next business day Dannon messaged to ask how things are going! Wow, talk about going the extra mile! Thank you all for taking such good care of me, and in such fast timing when you guys were already so so busy!

The guys working were all hanging around the gas pump playing around and socializing with someone at the gas pump closest to the station who was not getting gas and blocking on Kylan's of traffic to go anywhere else. This went on for over 20 min past 5:00 but was blocked in and couldn't leave. The guy finally left and I went up to see about the oil change and they said sorry we close at 5:00 and completely blew me off. If you weren't going to help me fine but you all saw me the whole time and left me trapped there when l could have it gone somewhere else.

I've made the drive Santa Barbara to LA drive hundreds of times without any problems. But about 100 miles into this trip, my truck suddenly overheated. I had to get it towed home. Now I might be facing a blown head gasket -- a major, expensive repair -- all because of this service. Maybe they used the wrong coolant, didn't refill it properly, or somehow clogged the system. I don't know what they did, but it was something seriously wrong. Bottom line: go somewhere else. Their negligence may have permanently damaged my engine.

    I really hoped to have a great experience with Toyota of Santa Barbara, but after months of issues,…read moremisdiagnoses, and ignored communication, I feel obligated to share what happened. I purchased a used CH-R and the check-engine light came on before my first payment. I was told I'd get a loaner and warranty coverage, but the moment the light turned off in their parking lot, they refused to look at it. When the light came back the next day, I was bounced between departments, told conflicting information, and ultimately had to fight just to get basic warranty work approved. This started a long cycle of repeated thermostat replacements, each time with the same problem returning. Over several visits, I was met with upselling, inconsistent explanations, and little accountability. Emails and calls went unanswered, and leadership only stepped in after the fourth thermostat replacement. The only bright spot was Andrei, who was kind and communicative--unfortunately, he wasn't the one making decisions about the repairs. The breaking point: Three months later, an independent mechanic discovered the actual issue: Toyota of Santa Barbara had been using the wrong coolant for my vehicle. Once the coolant was flushed and replaced with the proper fluid, the problem vanished completely. The multiple thermostat replacements were unnecessary and should never have happened. I genuinely wanted to support a local dealership, but this experience ended up costing me time, money, and trust. Between the misdiagnoses, poor communication, and refusal to take responsibility, I can't recommend this location. I hope others have a better experience than I did, but I won't be returning.
