They have a wide selection at great prices, plus excellent customer service! My kitchen is small, so I needed a smaller model, and they had them in stock. They delivered it the next day. After searching Lowe's, Home Depot and Bray and Scarf so I had an expectation that I would spend a certain dollar amount for what I needed, and I was able to find what I needed and wanted for less that amount at AAA. I got my low profile microwave, a stove with pan storage and a built in air fryer, my counter depth French door fridge, and a dishwasher so silent I thought it wasn't working. :-) It was nice to have personalized service, which meant I was able to call back and make a last minute change once I came back home and checked some measurements, and there was no trying to figure out who I spoke with after being placed on indefinite holds. Delivery was scheduled for the following weekend, and the installation and removal was completed efficiently and with consideration for my home (and cat who wanted to be in the mix). Would definitely recommend for anyone in the DMV area, it is worth the ride if you're in need of new appliances and are over the big box store approach.

I would think that you would be able to give me someone who to contact for this assistance. You could tell when he answered the phone he just did not want to be bothered. I understand you are not capable of set up. I got that. But if I purchase the product, you should have info about said product.

He was very helpful in selecting the appliances that fit our budget. If I had my wish, the online catalog would be easier to navigate as it has no search/filter feature.

I did some research and concluded that I…read moreshould buy a Bradford-White lowboy, mostly because it should fit perfectly in the small space available for it in my condo. Unfortunately, Bradford-White does not sell to retail stores, so they recommended two local suppliers. The first, in VA, gave me an estimated replacement cost of $1,900 to $2,000 for the water heater, installation and removal of the old unit. Then they told me they do not service DC. Thank God! This is what led me to call Northeastern Supply. They offered to sell me the same unit for $362, and I found a local plumber who will install it for a couple of hundred dollars. Pat at Northeastern supply was very helpful on the phone. She patiently looked up the model I thought I needed and went over the dimensions so I was sure it would fit. I asked how much delivery would cost. It is free in DC!! The next day they delivered on time, but I noticed before I opened it that it was not the unit I discussed with Pat. When I called, they immediately said "oh, that's our fault," and they promised to bring the right unit the next morning, which they did. All the people I interacted with were pleasant, helpful and professional. I haven't encountered such great customer service in years. I will certainly do business with Northeastern Supply again whenever I need anything they sell.

I can't say enough great things about Allegheny Builders. We used them for a major renovation --…read morewe doubled our square footage and dug out a new basement. To make it more interesting, we live in a historic district. Allegheny made this process as stress free as possible. Eddie Boyko and his team were amazing: reliable, hard-working, and responsive. I would email Eddie at 10:30 on a Sunday night and get a response that evening. Their quality was really excellent. I have had people in the building and construction business comment on the quality of the work that was completed by Allegheny. Of particular note is the tile work by Eddie's team: it is absolutely beautiful and perfectly aligned. I cannot look at asymmetrical tiles anymore! In the months that we have been back in our house, Eddie has continued to be responsive -- checking in and making sure we are happy. Mind you, this is after we have completed our contract with him and no longer pay him for his work. I have unreservedly recommended Allegheny to friends who are renovating, one is currently using him for a complete rear-down and is very happy. I have opened my home to any of his prospective clients so they can see the quality of his work and hear my incredibly positive experience with them. Renovation is a difficult process. Having a builder who is honest with a commitment to quality is imperative to surviving the challenge.

The review I posted earlier was accurate and there are many records to share with anyone who is…read moreconsidering this builder. The most relevant is Mr. Boyko's deposition (taken and answered under oath and penalty of perjury) which contradicts many of his excuses and responses to the review. (EDIT: it appears Boyko's response has been deleted.) Many of the photos that were posted were of the master bathroom as ABC left it when they walked off the project. Notice - no sink or tub. What you can't see is that there is no toilet or shower installed either! This is the most expensive part of the entire project...would YOU give someone their final payment if you were left with this?!? (Especially when the contract SPECIFICALLY says final payment is only due when the county issues a final permit?) Additionally, there wasn't one room in the entire house that was finished. And lastly, after demanding that final payment, 14 months later Boyko finally admitted he had made a substantial error (in our favor) of over $80,000. But if we hadn't counter-sued and if we had just paid him what he demanded, he would have no doubt pocketed that money. Boyko suggests that a settlement was reached that all parties agreed to. Correct. We had no choice. According to our attorney, the only way for us to retrieve any of the amount he owed us was to let him come out of bankruptcy and pay us 10 cents on the dollar. We took that amount instead of zero and continued legal fees. He knew exactly what he was doing and when he says he was protecting other customers, the bottom line was that he was only protecting himself. Again, happy to share court documents (including his deposition testimony) and photos. We don't want this to happen to anyone else.
