I wish I could give zero stars. Ferguson has consistently proven to be one of the most frustrating companies I've ever dealt with, and after multiple bad experiences, I'm finally done. Their sales staff and phone operators are hands-down the rudest people I've encountered in any customer service role. Condescending attitudes, short and snappy responses, zero patience, and zero willingness to actually help solve problems. It's like they're annoyed that you're even calling or showing up in person. we decided to give them one more chance, thinking maybe things had improved. Big mistake. Same rude treatment, same incompetence, same total disregard for the ocustomer. Never again. Avoid Ferguson if you value basic courtesy and competent service. There are plenty of other suppliers who will treat you like a paying customer instead of an inconvenience. 1 star only because I have to pick something. read more

Been shopping at Fergusons for years. In fact, I have a charge account here for over 15 years. Terrible service. I have been calling about a 100k order that I need to place, and then no one ever answers the phone at the showroom. It always goes to their national call center. Then when you ask for help/changes with the order, the people at the national call center can't help you out because the people at the showroom work off commission so you have to wait days to get a response if any. So today I was already irritated that they did it to me again. I told the gal at the national call center that I would wait until I could speak to someone about getting this order placed. She put me on hold and she tried to reach someone at the showroom. When she did, they must have been talking about me and how I was calling the showroom and there was never an answer. She accidentally merged the call too soon and I heard the women at the showroom say "just tell him we don't want to talk him and giggling like one of those drunk college girls and to just call back later. I was like WTF!! Because I overheard her and how shocked I was about the crap they were saying, Instead of disrespecting her immediately after her stupid comments I simply decided to hang up because I knew I was going down a path of no return with her and knew she didn't want to hear what I was going to tell her. Suzanne who is the manager needs to hear the recorded call and how unprofessional their people are. If you are buying any appliances go to Built in distributors in seaside. This is the worst buying experience I've ever had. My $3600 purchase arrived with a dent in the door, inability to open 2 drawers. (although I had paid for door reversal.) refrigerator not leveled and continued stalling and not fixing the problems. moreover, they stalled for 30 days to avoid replacing the door or handle the issues that are still not resolved. my husband and I are in our mid 70s and I cannot believe that we are still dealing with this problem going on 3 months. Beautiful selection of appliances and fixtures. We enjoyed wandering the store and gathering ideas. However, they could not have cared less about our business. There was someone at the front desk when we walked in who did not even say hello. No one came to ask if we would like help. Same person at the front desk did not even look up as we left, let alone say "thanks for coming in." What a shame. I don't expect to be fawned over, a simple acknowledgement moves the reception from rude to kind. I love giving business to local businesses and would prefer that to a big box store. We ordered Meile dishwasher and washer/dryer from Ferguson's in June of 2001. They took our money and we waited....and waited. Original delivery date was end of 2021. Didn't arrive. Then revised date of February. Didn't arrive. Revised date of April. Didn't arrive. Now date of June. Each time we had to chase them down. Never any communication initiated by Ferguson's. Beware if you buy from them. You never get a straight answer. And never give them final payment until you get the product. Super pissed in Carmel. read more

BEGGING for help at this point. I've been trying for months to get a new Fisher & Pakel refrigerator and dishwasher installed. Each and every install has been a complete disaster. Ordered last March. Told everything would be delayed because of COVID. That's ok. Patiently waited 3+ months for appliances to come in. First delivery in June, told new dishwasher doors were broken so couldn't install. So had to reinstall old dishwasher that was already on the truck for disposal. Plus refrigerator installed was wrong sku (no handles). Installers say they just install talk to Customer Service. Customer Service says they can fix but would have to order new appliances which means waiting other 6-8 weeks. I understand. Things happen. As long as we an get it fixed I'm ok. Wait another 2-3 months. Second delivery last Thursday. The refrigerator is successfully replaced - great! However, told the new dishwasher won't drain correctly so must be broken. AGAIN, installers have to take the old dishwasher off the truck and reinstall. Talk to customer service. They have to determine if the new dishwasher can be fixed or requires ordering a third dishwasher. Customer service says someone has to take a look at the dishwasher but will get back to me on Friday. Being realistic over the holiday weekend, I ask they just make sure to get back to me first thing Tuesday morning with the options. However, over the holiday weekend, I realize my old dishwasher now no longer drains. So HAD 1-2 INCHES OF DIRTY WASTEWATER SITTING IN MY KITCHEN FOR 4 DAYS! It smells horrible. It's unsanitary. Whatever was broken during the reinstall needs to be fixed! Tuesday morning no one calls. I follow up around noon. Explain that besides figuring out if the new dishwasher can be fixed/installed, I now also have a drainage problem with my old dishwasher that needs to be fixed. It worked perfectly the past 2 1/2 years but now has standing water. Hmmm. Makes you wonder. Is it possible nothing was wrong with the new F&P at all? Since neither will drain, maybe the installers broke something since the drainage is no longer working period? REGARDLESS, I need the standing water fixed ASAP. OK. Will call the warehouse and get back to me in an hour or so. 4pm rolls around and have not heard back. Call again but no one is answering so left a voicemail explaining I MUST get the standing water fixed ASAP. Unsanitary and the smell is just getting worse and worse. No response. I'm about to be forced to pay money to a plumber to fix an appliance I no longer want that I've already paid Ferguson to replace and which Ferguson more than likely broke. I don't think my expectations are too high. I've paid $10,000 and waited 6 months to end up with a kitchen that smells like sewage and to hand washing dishes. I just want what's broken fixed and what I paid for delivered, installed and working. PLEASE HELP! read more

Holly Vanoli has helped me with a major bathroom remodeling project. She was one of the first people I met on a showroom visit and while I did not order anything on site I subsequently reached out to her to work through an order. This all went flawlessly with the exception of pieces being on continual backorder with Grohe. My plumber had forgotten to ask me to get the roughs for the shower, tub faucet, shower drain and such. Holly quickly remedied the situation and that portion of the project was complete. With the continued backorder situation of the Grohe shower control, shower head and arm she worked to find compatible replacements(mentioned roughs were installed). Very happy with the service, communication, shipping, and quality of items. read more

This place is terrible for customer service. If I could give them a big fat ZERO I would. I made an appointment on Friday to come in on Tuesday. I received a confirmation text AND email. Apparently, the person I made an appt with switched to virtual due to a personal emergency which I understand. But did ANYONE ever bother to call and try to reschedule me? I drove a half hour out of town to come here and they couldn't even let me in to look around which is the reason I made an appt to begin with. 10am next morning does me no good. This place would not even make an accommodation due to their mishandling of a potential client... I need an entire suite of appliances for my renovation. They really missed out. I will NOT come back under any circumstances. Do NOT support this local retailer if service (which is extremely necessary during a replacement of appliances for a renovation project) is important to yo. Big THUMBS DOWN for ferguson (they don't deserve a capital at the beginning of their name). Of course, this is only my opinion, but I say "Don't bother and save yourself some time. STAY AWAY!!" Update: As I was still in the parking lot posting the above review, I first received a call from the designer who apologized. Then I received a call from the floor manager, Katie, who also apologized and wanted to know what she could do to make it right. At this point, I was, of course, agitated at but since I had not left the parking lot due to writing my heated Yelp review, I said I would consider coming in if someone could take me right now. Katie was more than willing to help me herself with my needs around the showroom. I came in, Katie graciously helped me with everything I needed. I will wait to see if 5 stars are warranted once I get pricing, delivery & install. I would definitely consider Ferguson going forward. Thanks to Katie for saving the day!! read more

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I bought a whirlpool tub. Three times they emailed me saying it was ready for delivery. My wife took time off work to receive the delivery only for them to not show. Three times. They email a "request responses" which I did multiple times but they never seem to response to my emails. I will never buy from them again! read more

In July 2019, my brother and I went shopping for a toilet to replace the current toilet. We knew that Toto was a top brand, so we talked to our plumber, Andrew Sheppard, who suggested that we go to Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting in Seaside.  As we entered the nicely supplied showroom, we were greeted by the receptionist near the entrance. After only a few minute wait, she directed us to Chris Cappetti, a customer service representative.  Ferguson was "god-sent" for us!!! Chris greeted us, sat us down at his desk, and gave us the upmost attention in answering or finding answers to all of our questions about a top-notched toilet. He gave us his total attention and was very warm, cordial, and knowledgeable!!!  We decided on the Toto Drake II elongated toilet which Chris was able to get shipped to Ferguson's warehouse within a couple of days to meet our tight deadline for the plumber to install. In addition, Ferguson gave us a competitive pricing on the new toilet. Chris followed up with the our highly recommended plumber, ANDREW SHEPPPARD, by notifying Andrew of the expected date of delivery as well as following up with us on the expected delivery date.  Today, on July 25th, the Toto Drake II toilet arrived promptly within 2 days so that we were able to get our plumber to install it this afternoon. There were no complications or flaws in the toilet and we were totally pleased and "Extremely Satisfied" with the entire transaction with Ferguson from the time we entered the showroom, to having Chris Cappetti as our sales rep, and finally having Andrew Sheppard's plumbing install the new Toto Drake II toilet today!!!  My brother and I set very high expectations whenever we purchase any item for our place and we are meticulous in keeping it spotless.  Both Ferguson and Andrew Sheppard's Plumbing NOT ONLY MET BUT EXCEEDED our expectations in the sale and installation of our new Toto Drake II toilet!!! We spent close to $9,000 in a master bath build, and were told that our Newport Brass fixtures would be in in 3 weeks, we waited 6 weeks and we were still missing pieces (After having to pay upfront or our order would not get processed) We checked with the warehouse and no one knew anything about our order, or would tell us it was received but not shipped. According to the warehouse, they cannot see what the showroom people can see on their computers, therefore, they can't tell me where my stuff is at and had me calling both the showroom and the warehouse daily to see if the items have come in. On a side note, none of the sales reps. have direct lines and you have to call the store, get transferred to a voicemail or verbal messages between the receptionist and Sales reps. So good luck trying to get a hold of your Sales rep. The manager offered to get us a "loaner" and my rep told me he'd get me one. I call the next few days and he replied through the receptionist that he doesn't have permission to do so and he was busy with other customers that he would call me back tomorrow (Friday) or Monday. In addition, after an item has been received (god knows where, but not at the store) they will not process the or ship the item for 48 Hours!! same goes for credits. I wasn't even going to write a review for this place until I saw a commercial of theirs. Don't be fooled! I had the exact same experience as some of the other reviewers. I went there to buy that day and no one, I repeat no one, even acknowledged we were there! I was in the store for nearly 20 minutes and thus wasted 20 minutes of my life. I ended up finding something even better on Amazon at a better price and with Amazon's recommendations I was able to buy the needed accessory items. Don't waste your time with this place. This place is fantastic and is always displaying new and upcoming designs. You couldn't ask for better customer service. They have incredible designing skills and knowledge of their beautiful range of products. Their lighting designer Laura, came to our house and did an incredible job at laying out a plan for our indoor and outside lighting in Carmel. Amy is fantastic with kitchen and bathroom design. Horrible recent experience ordering shower parts at this store. Placed my order April 16 and was told I would receive a call when the parts arrived. Having not heard anything for close to a month, I called and was told I could pick up the parts at the warehouse in Sand City and that someone had simply failed to call me. What was even more frustrating was that I saw that many of the pieces I had ordered were significantly cheaper at various other retailers online (More on that in a bit). When I went to the Sand City warehouse to pick up the parts, I learned that my order had been changed, without anyone consulting me, because the part I wanted was back ordered. It's fine that I needed to select a different piece because of the back order, but what kind of legitimate business changes an order without at least notifying the customer of the reason for the change? I refused to pick up any of my parts until I spoke with someone about the order change. After speaking with the manager about the issue (who, fortunately, was very helpful and understanding), I went to the warehouse again today to pick up my order. The gentlemen helping me went into the warehouse and, after about a ten minute wait, came back and told me he couldn't find one of the parts on my order. Then, instead of continuing to help me, the employee told me he was going to help another customer and then get back to helping me? Really??? When he finally got back to helping me, he returned to the warehouse and couldn't find the part (which apparently was there five days earlier when I first went to the warehouse). I ultimately cancelled the entire order, frustrated at the service I was receiving from Ferguson. The best part of cancelling? I ordered ALL of the exact same parts I would have been picking up off two different websites for a total of about $375 CHEAPER than I would have paid at Ferguson AND all of the parts will be here on or before next Wednesday. Great news for me. For now on, the only reason I'll visit the Ferguson showroom will be to look at various parts/supplies in person, then I'll go and order online. Not only will it be cheaper and more convenient, I won't have to deal with the headaches I experienced trying to simply purchase parts for a shower. read more

We remodeled our entire house with Ferguson and the experience was just terrific. Their entire team was outstanding and made a difficult job easy and rewarding. Our design consultant, Bob Armstrong was excellent, helping us throughout the project from kitchen to bath to cabinet hardware including a steam shower. He was wonderful to work with and we are so pleased with the outcome. The large selection of display models facilitated the selection process and enabled us to feel confident in our decisions. I went to Ferguson for bathroom remodel ideas. Instead of feeling welcome, I felt shunned and not "important" enough for them to spend time with me. We bought a high-end shower from them anyway and they never called to tell me it had arrived. Finally, I called and found out it had arrived, but it wasn't at the store when I got there. Apparently they have a separate warehouse, but they neglected to tell me about this on the phone. We were trying to "do the right thing" and support a local business. But if a local business does not have better customer service than an online company, why support them? I will not order anything from this store again. read more

Under staffed, rude, very corporate. The receptionists are really all this place has going for it (aside from it's displays. It IS a beautiful showroom). The sales associates I've worked with (I got passed around quite a few times) are impatient and make many mistakes. I remodeled three bathrooms, was told my material would be ready in a month, which was fine because I didn't need it for 6 weeks. My material didn't arrive for 8 weeks and I had to contact them to find this out. I attempted to speak to the manager when I picked up my material, but she never came out of the back room (I waited 20 minutes and she was paged twice). read more

Loved the show room. It was so nice to find options other than the standard hardware store fixtures. Help in the store was great! Communication after/during the purchase was not so great. One piece was 4-6weeks out. We were told the rest of the pieces were in stock. We didn't realize in stock a actually meant in Stockton and still over a week away. Disappointing that there was no communication about how to get the pieces that were in stock. We asked for delivery-also have no information on how to set that up. Next time is probably just use the showroom for ideas and buy everything somewhere else. At least Amazon provides updates. read more

Matt Arnoldi made the stressful job of shopping for a new home's plumbing fixtures SO much simpler and better! He listened so well to what was and wasn't important to me, asked questions to understand my style, and narrowed suggestions down to only show me good choices, not the overwhelming array I'd found other places. He spoke intelligently about the differences in items, helped guide me to where I could save money and where the durability was worth more, and put everything in a virtual shopping cart so I could finish researching on my own time without feeling pressured, since that was my preference. Months later when I needed more help, he was quickly available by phone, sorted through an online challenge and made sure I had all the items I'd need for them to work together. The prices were excellent, and when I did have one thing damaged in shipping I was able to get it replaced the same day from our local Ferguson store! Well, although they have an extensive selection of high end items and an even higher price the experiece was lacking so bad in the area of customer service.. When I walked in the person at the hostess desk was on the computer while I was in proximity didnt even say hello.. as I walked through the store in my suit I was not greeted once by the several employees I encountered. As I walked out of the establishment I once again passed the hostess desk while 2 employees were engaged in a conversation neither said anything to me as I opened the door and left... the higher the prices .. the better the service is my opinion.. and with one other customer in the entire store ... what was everyone doing so important that the customer wasnt even welcomed ... so sad... read more

While I was in the middle of a kitchen remodel, I discovered Ferguson's. The difference in the help and service I received was significant, and I highly recommend them, in fact I don't usually write reviews but was compelled to do so after such a great experience. Remodel is not my strength and I only had general ideas about the type of sink and faucet I wanted and Fergusons, helped me navigate all (and for excellent, competitive pricing). By the time I left the Seaside showroom, I had learned so much about these items and placed my order for pick up at the Santa Cruz location. They continue to be super helpful as I made some follow up requests and orders. I only wish I had discovered them sooner in the process. So happy to know about them for the future. read more
