I recently have purchased 3 different size and shed designs(10x12 and 2-8x14). I worked primarily with Orlando Oliveres in the Gilroy store. He was absolutely excellent to work with. He helped me with the design, pricing and any question that I had. He was responsive at all times. He is a great representative of the company. Because of my travel schedule, I had to move delivery dates several times. Delihla and Thelma in the scheduling department were also very helpful in coordinating delivery and assembly of our sheds. The assembly crew arrived on time, did excellent work and did a total clean up of each of the sites after the assembly. My whole experience with the Gilroy Team was excellent. You don't go at this location for sheds, you go here for consultations. I wasted my time just specifically wanting to look at sheds and then they show me some builder website that'll give me a quote on what i want that I could've done at home. I just wanted to take a home a shed that day but they had no sheds. It was just a office with shed displays. read more

Not good at all. Was set for delivery and they never showed up. Tried calling many times and got no one would answer or return calls. They called a week later and wanted to deliver after it had just got done pouring rain. I explained that was why I set it for the week before. They rescheduled for another week out, low and behold.....they didn't show up again. This is twice I took time off work. But wait it happened another time 1 month later no call no show again. I was irate. I paid 3k for this shed that was sitting in a lot 20 miles away. I finally contacted corporate and they handled the arrangements. After about 2months of waiting I finally got it. Great shed, but the delivery was a nightmare. Incompetent employees, almost lost the company a sale. I will never buy from them again. Had better luck with independent builders. read more

Orlando was terrific. What I thought was going to be a short visit lasted an hour and a half, showed us the shed models there, and he answered all of our questions, and then some. Delilah in customer service was super in coordinating when we needed to schedule and answering questions we had about the installation and providing us with the information we needed for the site prep we were doing. On the day of the installation, Samuel and Mauricio arrived at 8 and worked straight through until finishing up around 3. They asked me if I wanted to make a change to the interior (shelf height) instead of the previously agreed to height. I hadn't considered that. The end result is that I now have a work bench I can stand or sit at instead of just a shelf for storage. There was a problem with the initial location affecting the door's opening, but the two of them squared it away and moved the shed back to a better location. We are very pleased with Tuff Shed! read more

I am extremely happy with my purchase from Tuff Shed in Salinas. We live in Pacific Grove and needed storage space and were in the process of changing our yard. We had pavers going in and needed a shed asap. I went in and talked with Art who reviewed the shed sizes and options with me. I picked out what we wanted and found that they had a three week wait. I told Art we were in a time pinch and needed it asap. He was able to put us in a time slot that someone had cancelled which worked perfectly for us. He was very responsive every time I reached out to him and greatly helpful. They built the shed and delivered it less then a week later. They were right on time, did a great job of assembling it even though our space was tight and they cleaned up everything when they finished. The shed is perfect, quality is great, the crew was very good and we are completely satisfied. If I were to do this again I would certainly go back and deal with Art and Tuff Shed. Order a tuff shed, thought it would take a couple of weeks to have it delivered and installed. But was told it would be two months, but they could add my name to a list if someone cancels. The whole two months went by, so took the day off, Suppose to be here between 12:00 & 2:00PM, They called around 8:00AM to cancel because the worker called in sick, REALLY!!!!! I feel they should have plenty of time to get someone else and by the way this is a job for more than one worker. Bad business no plan B. Just left me hanging and now have to wait another week. Hopefully they won.t cancel again and will lose another day of work. read more
