Our dryer wouldn't start last night, and I found SimpleFix via all the great Yelp reviews…read more Submitted a request online and within minutes received a reply and said they would come out today between 12-2. At 12:10 Mahmoud arrived at my door. Very presentable and professional. Basically spent over an hour with our dryer examining everything, taking it apart, and determined that the drive motor was at fault (8 yr old unit). It's too bad these "modern" units don't last decades like the ones we grew up with, but that's a different issue. Mahmoud informed us of the estimate to fix, and basically it's about as much as a new unit. So I went onto Costco.com and bought a new dryer. Mahmoud charged the $65 inspection fee, and I believe it was worth every bit, especially since he spent probably 90 minutes of his time here. It's good to know that these professionals exist and if we ever have issues with our other appliances, I'll know who to call first. Thanks!

He quickly diagnosed the issue and had everything handled in less than 45 minutes. Mahmud was knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. I would definitely recommend SimpleFix Appliance Repair.

5 stars for the customer service, responsiveness, and communication…read more I needed my Viking range serviced as my oven would reach temperature and then fluctuate below/above by 50 degrees. Not a good thing when you're baking and end up with dry cupcakes and flat cookies. I called up Airport Appliance where I purchased my range but no longer in business and given the Viking Range (1888-845-4641) support. Based on location I was referred to De Anza Appliance in San Jose. Chris was very friendly, responsive and mentioned at the onset the visit would be $200. Ouch!
