Our dryer wouldn't start last night, and I found SimpleFix via all the great Yelp reviews…read more Submitted a request online and within minutes received a reply and said they would come out today between 12-2. At 12:10 Mahmoud arrived at my door. Very presentable and professional. Basically spent over an hour with our dryer examining everything, taking it apart, and determined that the drive motor was at fault (8 yr old unit). It's too bad these "modern" units don't last decades like the ones we grew up with, but that's a different issue. Mahmoud informed us of the estimate to fix, and basically it's about as much as a new unit. So I went onto Costco.com and bought a new dryer. Mahmoud charged the $65 inspection fee, and I believe it was worth every bit, especially since he spent probably 90 minutes of his time here. It's good to know that these professionals exist and if we ever have issues with our other appliances, I'll know who to call first. Thanks!

Mahmud was knowledgeable, polite, and efficient. I would definitely recommend SimpleFix Appliance Repair.

I'm probably one of the most difficult people to please. I'm not proud of this but my past was in…read morethe restaurant business. Letting repair people into my home psychologically is not easy. Most think the homeowners are not knowledgeable and we aren't, otherwise we would fix it ourselves. However, we have everything else you need to be a judge of a clean, knowledgeable, honest, and efficient repair person. Marian's first visit was to vacuum out our Thermador refrigerator and garage fridge. I wasn't in the mood to meet him but my husband told me how he worked. I liked what I heard. About 2 weeks later the heavier door on the Thermador fridge slumped. To be honest, it wasn't to my satisfaction brand new, the door was sticking out a little but after a remodel of the entire home, one gets burnt out. Marian fixed the door better than the brand new one installed and showed us why and how the problem happened. The stove he changed the lights effectively and fast. Then the big question came from me, can you take the oven door off and take it apart to be cleaned? I've asked 2 other appliance companies if they could but they said it takes a long time and is not easy. Then I said, I can make a new appointment for this for you to come back. He said, he could fix it now. My oven door has 3 glasses. To watch him take off the door and apart was pretty amazing because of his calm, perfected work speed and stress-free demeanor. We all know talent when we see it. I think by now, I told him 3 times how happy I was, and thank you too. Lastly, if you are wise enough to call him for help then you must have done many great things in life to get him. Also, YES his prices are well thought out and fair and reasonable. If you are the kind of person who tries to get a lower price from businesses, don't call because you don't deserve him.

His work was done exactingly, he kept the work area clean and clean when he left. Thecrepairs were all completed promptly, within less than a 1/2 hr. He replaced 3 igniters and 2 burners, plus, as he was installing one of the new Viking manufactured parts, he discovered something which was done incorrect on the previous repair done by different repair company co. and he explained what had been done incorrect and that it previously hadn't been a true Viking part & that part had been installed incorrectly. Art uses Viking manufactued parts for the repairs on Vikings stoves which he works on. It's important on these high-end appliances to use only the true Viking manufactuer's parts for replacements on Vikings and on other high-end brands to use those specific brand parts, not generic brands. It's expensive, but worth it in the long run, for the longevity of the appliance. Art also works on high-end refrigerators, such as the GE Monogram, which we also have in our kitchen.
