Extremely Disappointing Experience -- Poor Accountability and an Unfair Additional $1,000 Charge…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Dienza Appliances and would strongly caution others before hiring this company. We hired Dienza Appliances a couple of weeks ago to repair our Aga stove range top because it would not turn on. Their technician replaced what we understood to be the entire internal mechanism of the range top. We trusted their expertise and paid for the repair, expecting the appliance to work properly afterward. However, after their technician completed the repair, we discovered a new problem: we now have to turn the range top knobs twice before the electricity comes on and the stove becomes usable. This issue did not exist before their technician performed the repair. It only appeared after the work was completed. When we contacted the company about this problem, instead of investigating whether it was related to their previous work and helping resolve the issue, they insisted that it was a separate problem and demanded an additional $1,000 to fix it. This is completely unacceptable to us. We hired them to repair a stove that would not turn on. After they replaced the internal components, the appliance developed a new operational issue that we had never experienced before. From a customer's perspective, it is entirely reasonable to expect the company to investigate whether its repair caused or contributed to the new problem before demanding another $1,000. What makes this experience particularly frustrating is the company's unwillingness to work toward a reasonable resolution. The representative we dealt with simply refused to budge on the additional charge, without addressing our fundamental concern about the timing of the new issue and its potential connection to the work their technician performed. Customers should not have to pay a substantial repair bill, discover a new problem immediately after the repair, and then be told they must pay another $1,000 without a satisfactory explanation of why the new issue is unrelated to the original work. We are extremely dissatisfied with the service and the lack of accountability we experienced. We expect a professional appliance repair company to stand behind its work, properly investigate problems that arise following a repair, and treat customers fairly. We would like Dienza Appliances to take responsibility for investigating this issue and resolve it without imposing an unjustified additional charge. Based on our experience, I would urge other customers to ask detailed questions about repair warranties, follow-up service, and responsibility for problems that appear after a repair before hiring this company.
